Star has taken care of all of our vehicles at different times and are able to get us in timely and fair prices, great customer service as well as the service provided to the vehicles. I trust the team in their diagnosis and repairs,as well as the friendly service they provide. I have never had a complaint on the work provided and recommend Star to all my friends and family.

When I called for an appointment to bring my mother s car in, Star Automotive was able to get us in the next day. Due to my schedule changing, I needed to reschedule this appointment twice. Each time I called they were understanding and accommodating . I brought my mother s vehicle in due to water leaking into her car. Star Automotive provided a complementary full vehicle inspection as well. This was greatly appreciated as it gave me peace of mind knowing my elderly mother would be safer on the road. Before any work was started, they consulted with us first to get permission and provide the cost of needed repairs. A full detailed report of the inspection with pictures was messaged to us. We found Star Automotive to be professionally and efficient with fair pricing and would highly recommend to others.

Outstanding service. Honestly diagnose issues / problems and explain what is needed to resolve them. I trust them thoroughly to take care of my vehicles and keep them in great safe condition at a very reasonable price. They live up to their motto: "we get it right the first time every time.! One can't ask for any more than that.

Outstanding service, and knowledge. Was pretty sure I had an alternator problem...these folks tested both my battery and my alternator....come to find out, my very expensive alternator was just fine. The problem turned out to be my 6 year old battery. Saved me several hundred dollars. Great work!!! Thanks Dave!!

I brought my 2003 Jaguar XK8 to Star Automotive on 2-23-2024. When I set the appointment, the service I requested was to have all of the transmission fluid replaced throughout the transmission, torque converter, transmission cooler and lines. I was assured they had the proper equipment to do so. Since they had the car all day I thought the service had been completed, however when I looked over the invoice there was not enough fluid to have done the complete job. It turns out that they only drained the fluid from the pan, replaced the pan/filter and refilled 5.5 quarts of a 10-11 quart capacity system and charged me $540.13. I called to speak with a shop manager or service manager and was told that he was busy and they would have him call me back. When I received the call from Paul (one of the owners) He began by telling me he had already spoken with all those involved. It was clear that he had done so to be able to defend his policies and point blame at me for signing the work order for Auto Trans Drain & Fill rather than be interested in giving actual customer service. I could have performed the service that Star Automotive did myself for $150 and it would have taken approx. 1 hr.I am completely dissatisfied with Star automotive and will not ever bring a vehicle to them again. Justification is a poor substitute for Integrity!

Oh my gosh, Star Auto is such a wonderful and trustworthy business!!! We have been taking our cars there for 24 years now, and love to arrive to the smile and greeting from Dave (who has been there almost 40 years!!!). Thanks for being a such a reliable and honest business!!

03' Honda Element with the engine check light on! No problem, the guys at STAR were very knowledgeable, helpful and professional, they did the necessary repair and fixed it right first time like always. This was my 3rd time going to STAR Automotive. I have been happy each time with their work, their diligence in being thorough, and their communication with me. I think it is very important to go to one place for everything mechanical so that they will learn and know my car and will always know exactly what work has been done with it.

I brought my truck there twice, both for diagnoses of an engine misfire. Not only did they diagnose it with engine misfire .. which is what I told them the problem was meaning they did not do any diagnostics on it, they just drive it around the block and suggested $435 to replace my spark plugs and wires. It s an absurd place, too busy with serving the local population of idiots to be any good at their jobs. it s a rushed service with little insight or care because they are always booked. I will never go back. I asked around and anyone with more than 3 brain cells has nothing good to say about them.

Upon arriving for my appointment, I was greeted with a kind, friendly, and professional welcome by Dave and Austin. I made my appointment with Austin and said I needed to reseal my oil pan gasket due to leaking. Upon the technicians inspection he determined it was not the oil pan leaking but other items were leaking. Austin called and informed me and quoted for the proper repair. I was very pleased with the communication efforts Austin performed. When picking up my car from servicing Austin explained the work rendered. Both Dave and Austin were thankful for me becoming a customer of Star Automotive.

Great people and service. Sign up for their text offers and the right things will show up at a discount to keep your car going. They send you a text link to a service inspection after every visit. They also have a van to get you to and from wherever you need to in town while your vehicle is being serviced.

brought my 2005 dodge neon in due to an overheating issue and also wanted a general inspection. first time they fixed it it immediately overheated 2 minutes after driving. it was worse off than when i brought it in. they took the car back a second time and it stayed cool for 5 days, then back to overheating. car is now undrivable. called about bringing it in again to take a look and they want to charge me 140 for another general inspection. mind you i ve been charge the first two times after it was fixed . very disappointed. other than that customer service was great and they were all very nice. i m sad that i have to leave a bad review because the team at star automotive was so kind to me. just didn t fix my issue.

Best customer service one can ask for. Always say what they are going to do, and do what they say. I especially appreciate that they can usually schedule an appt on only a day or two notice when it s urgent.

My inside drivers carlock broke and of course I took it into Star Automotive knowing they fix it right the first time. I have spent a lot of money at major repair shops that didn't know what they were doing. Thank you STAR for finding the clip to save me $$$ today!

I have been using them for my car repairs now for a couple of years and I have been very pleased with their expertise and work quality. They were able to diagnose and repair a cruise control problem of a recently purchased 2018 ford F150 that the local Ford dealer didn't repair after three attempts. I'm very happy with their service but wish their prices were a little lower. But you get what you pay for. Star Automotive can take car of my Audi Q7, they do a great job, have fair pricing and give me a ride when I drop my car off! I highly recommend them for anything auto!
