this is the only mechanic I go to, knowledgeable, trustworthy, very good prices. I've taken my truck in for a wheel bearing replacement, he calls me back and corrected me and said that it's actually the brakes, squealer tab hissing. Like I said very trustworthy man.

Brandyn and his father are two amazing people who are very helpful and give great service everytime I go to get my car serviced. He also takes care of my wife's car and we both know we have nothing to worry about when we take it to them. They are really honest, helpful and knowledgeable. I won't take take my car to anyone else, they are people you can trust.

Called everywhere in the valley to get exhaust work done and got attitude and 2 week waiting times. I called Kevin and he was very respectful and even got us in after hours on the same day. Prices are the best I have seen in the valley ever. We tried to pay more than he was asking for taking us in way past closing time and he insisted on we don t. Very passionate about his work and did everything in a speedy manor and making sure everything was done perfectly awesome work from Kevin. All around great shop and great people definitely recommend. Wont go anywhere else.

Kevin was a lifesaver! Truck started acting up on me just as I got into town. I ve never heard of him before. he was recommended to me highly by a friend of mine. He got me right in diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a very very timely manner and got me back on the road. He was very professional polite and knowledgeable and got the Job Done right and done quickly!

I always wonder if reviews are from real people, so I assure you I am a southern Oregon native and used this company.I had an emergent car problem yesterday and was stranded on asphalt when it was 100 degrees out and was stuck for hours. After finally finding a tow that was prompt and reasonable (Grizzly Towing), I went to this shop.Most auto shops turned me away, but this shop has a community based service model and always keeps a space open for people who have an vehicle emergency, like I did yesterday.This is not to castigate other auto shops, but my experience here was above and beyond. I had a tow truck drop me off at K&C with an rv that broke down on the 5 while i was passing through town. I didn't know if they could get us in on Monday or even address my problem in the time i needed. Not only were they able to work me in first thing in the morning, but they diagnosed my problem and got it fixed quickly to get me back on the road. I really appreciated their communication, professionalism, and commitmemt to get me taken care of. I strongly recommend this team for any of your auto or truck needs.

Extremely honest and professional! BTW: NEW LOCATION near Griffin Park on Riverbanks Rd. Call ahead for location.Check engine light went off in my Yukon Hybrid. Kevin was able to see me ASAP and confirm that my catalytic converter was operating normal. He let me go with confidence and a clean bill of health instead of upselling or charging me to fix something that wasn't ever broken. Thank you, team!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Kevin was taking care of my moms car for years before I moved to Grants Pass. She always had nothing but positive things to say he treated fairly and was always very helpful when I got here I bought my first car from Kevin. And then two more he has always been fair honest and willing to go the extra step to help out. He has never once told me he didn t have time. We have a 2001 Volkswagon Eurovan, and it is difficult to find anyone reliable in the Rogue Valley who will work on them. Long stories short: we had bad experiences at two other places: one place lied to us about something that was wrong but that turned out to not be a problem, and the other place actually damaged the body of our Eurovan in several places and didn't tell us, hoping that we wouldn't notice. So then a friend of ours recommended K&C. We have taken the van in for general tune-ups. And we also brought it in for a transmission fluid leak; they worked on the leak and we brought it home but it turned out that it was still leaking; so we took it back in the next day, and Kevin and the team fixed it up without trying to charge us extra. Every time we have called, they have been able to get the van in within a day or two. We recently took the van in for an all-point check in preparation for a 5,000+ round trip from Grants Pass to Iowa and Wisconsin, and the van drove beautifully without a hitch, engine purring like a kitten. Thank you to Kevin and the team at K&C for the good work and making us feel like we can drive our 21-year-old vehicle on long-distance trips with confidence.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Transmission repair, Oil change

Kevin at k&c auto is top notch, I recommend multiple friends and family to him, they have been nothing but satisfied, with his service. the turn around time is usually within a day, especially if parts are readily available. He had a transmission replaced in my wife s Tahoe in 2 days, I just had a water pump replaced, he was done by the time I got off work. I m telling you, this guy is a stud when it comes to repairs. My battery had had it So much so that I thought I was going to have a tow truck take my car to a shop to be fixed. The tow truck ended up jumping my battery and suggested K&C auto. We were towed in from the highway(on vacation), no appointment. Though they looked busy, Kevin and the guys had us on the road in two hours! They were friendly and professional. We thank them with all our heart!

So grateful to have found this place! They re honest and very nice ! Took my Jeep in to have them look over and they checked everything out and didn t give me the run around about needing this and that. The dealership wanted $137 just to look at it. Kevin didn t even charge me, it s nice to be able to trust people and not have to worry about being scammed. I will definitely bring more work too him :) thank you!

K&C helped me out so much! I had flooded my engine and they replaced it with an engine that had only 68,000 miles on it and even looked my Jeep over again another 900 miles into the new engine to make sure everything still looked great. It runs so smooth. Their work was clean and efficient. They got my Jeep in as soon as they got the new engine. Great at communicating and so respectful and kind. They not only gave me great service, but they were also the most affordable place in town! Nothing more you could want from your mechanics :-) Thank you guys!!!!

Kevin at k&c budget muffler is awesome! I walked down there with a problem on my car and needed it fix asap. Instead of turning me down like all the rest of the companies in this town, Kevin quickly assess my situation, told me there was a solution, made an appointment for me and got my car fixed all in same day. Not to mention I showed up to the shop at 1:30pm with my problems he made my appointment for 2:30 same day and then had me out of there at 3:15 (I was shocked) And on top of it the price he quoted me was less than what they actually charge me. Very honest business, work was quality and not to mention customer service was five stars! very satisfied and will return and send more business their way! Way to go guys you ROCK!!

The team at KC Auto Repair is 100%! Best experience I ve ever had for car repair (muffler, brakes and an oil change). Prompt attention, trustworthy, great customer service and affordable prices. I can't say enough about K&C Auto Service. They did an amazing job and gave me a very very good deal to replace my exhaust pipe and tip on my truck. I had part of the exhaust pipe rust out over the weekend and was going out of town in 2 days. I called K&C and they got me an appointment the same day and had it all finished that afternoon. This is outstanding service all around. I definitely won't be going anywhere else for all of my automotive needs. Don't skip on this place, give them a call and they will help you figure out a solution for your vehicle at a great price, they sure did for me!

These guys did good by me and my son on figuring out and working on his 2001 GMC Sierra. They came recommended from a group in Medford. Everyone in the area is busy and these guys worked us in and did what they could to get us back running and for a reasonable price. Kevin and his son Shea spent a lot of time with me troubleshooting. They drove the car around with me to hear all the noises I was complaining about and we're patient with me when I changed my mind on one of the repairs. I thought I needed both brakes repaired but after checking both sides out they let me know that one looked alright and probably didn't need to be fixed at this point. This has not been my normal experience with automotive repair. They stand out among the rest as nice, efficient, motivated, and most of all honest. I highly recommend!

I could not be happier with my experience today. My Jeep Patriot has been stuttering when I drive. I did a bunch of research and it turns out I m supposed to be replacing my spark plugs every 30,000 miles and I was at just shy of 100,000 and had never replaced them. I called Star Automotive and they wouldn t just do a tune up and replace the spark plugs, they insisted on doing a full diagnostic. I wasn t comfortable with them already trying to get more money. Kelly s couldn t get me in until Monday. When I called this shop, they asked a few questions about my car and told me to come right in. It took a little over an hour and they were done with the tune up and changing the spark plus and it was just shy of the quote they gave me of about $150.00. They didn t chat a whole lot or upsale at all. They didn t find any other issues either. My car runs perfectly now! I will most definitely come back and I m already telling the other deputies at work. Thank you!!

K&C is the best. The gentleman talked to me over the phone telling me to try a few things to ensure it was my failed starter. Gave me the tip of hitting it with something solid to get it started. Then once my vehicle started they were able to get me in the same day. The work didn't take long at all. Very fair prices. Extremely kind & knowledgeable employees. I will definantly recommend them. Great job guys! Keep up the honest thorough work! (:

A fantastic team to work with. Honest and caring. It shows in their work, very detailed and do a complete job the first time. If you have auto problems these are the guys to take your rig to get the job done right the first time. Communication is spot on no surprise s. There were able to squeeze me in and they were less expensive then every other muffler shop in town. My Town Car sounds amazing. They were very nice and friendly and I would definitely go back eventually for my girls car.

Outstanding service. Kevin didn't flinch when I asked him if he would look at my 6.0 Turbo Diesel. He and his crew struck me as honest people and I'm sure they could have charged me a lot more. Fixed my initial problem and then some. I know very little about mechanics but he showed me the damaged parts and explained the functionality. I'm actually very lucky to have taken my rig here as the engine probably would have failed had they not looked into the EGR. This is actually my ladies truck (I prefer 2 wheels), and it is the main transport for our family of 4... soon to be 5. These guys had us back on the road in 3 hours (drop off to pick up).Update; 12/2018: I have continued to take my truck here. I had been told by Lithia that I had a "major oil leak, probably head gaskets." Kevin spent a couple hours with it and suggested my Turbo might be bad. After a long investigation (Mock Ford told me, "turbo is bad.").Kevin, his brother Del and his boys fixed up the turbo, lifted my rig 2" and put new shocks on for me... and then some. Still keeping us on the road.

This is my second time using this business for car repairs. The first time we just came in for a tune up but my husband and I could not have been more impressed and this time was no different. These guys are not skeezy in the slightest, they put no pressure on you and the prices are absolutely fair. I cannot say enough good things. These guys are honest & fair! Don't go to Toyota GP, they'll bend u over! I won't take my vehicle in S. OR. to anyone else! A good mechanic is more important than a good doctor!
