I have a 1986 BMW I ve taken to multiple places. Drake and Robert were able to pin point the problem and get my classic back on the road! Robert and Drake are awesome. They are honest, intelligent and were willing to help. They were open on a Saturday which seems rare in Grants Pass, Or. But yeah this shop absolutely rocks!!!

The best ever. I have been to many many repair shop. They look u in the eye and show and tell what's going on. Not some unknowledgable explanation. The shop is the most honest and informative I have ever used. I'm the kind of guy that knows the best. Heck with the rest. I am in legal proceedings with this mechanical shop. They have not taken responsibility for the guarantee they offer, I spent my savings to change the transmission of my van last year and 8 months later the transmission died again, they buy used parts in the car scrapyard. When I return to the store to make use of my one year warranty, the boss refuses to take charge of his legal labor responsibility. The treatment was horrible. I do not recommend at all . Be very careful with this store

abusers! I repeat... they are not legally responsible for the guarantee they offer to customers. . When they delivered the van to me they told me it wouldn't have as much power, because my engine was more powerful than the transmission they found at the car junkyard. If I didn't claim again, it's because of that, and because I lived in southern California. I also personally called the store where they supposedly bought the used transmission, but they have no record of it. I also have this proof. BE CAREFUL with this store, you can waste time and money

Very detailed explanation as to why theyre doing what to your car. Jessies is out to give you fair prices and to do things right. They'll even try to save you a buck or two on parts where they can without sacrificing quality. By far the best mechanics in town. They are also willing and very capable of working on higher end cars. I have a mercedes and they fixed it up very nice for me.

Brought in my 04 Mustang that had some serious problems. Robert and Drake both listened to me throughly with my concerns and went to work. They did some serious search into this vehicle and found the problems. They professionally and properly took care of me and my car. Now this mustang runs like a dream and I m absolutely happy with this! Thank you Drake and Robert for taking care of Shadowfax!!! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP IF YOURE IN NEED!!!

I can't even begin to express what a great experience my partner and I had with the folks as Jesse's Auto Repair. They were able to work on my 1986 Toyota Dolphin/Winnebago RV, which most auto repair and RV repair shops are not willing/able to work on since it's a bit older. It was not a problem for Jesse's. The employees were so communicative, flexible, and knowledgable.They really went above and beyond working with us as we live in Portland and were in process of transporting our RV from Grants Pass. The repairs were reasonably priced, and expertly done.As a women I'm have a lot of anxiety about going to a mechanic because I've had horrible experiences with being condescended to and oversold on repairs that were not needed. I never felt that with Jesse's. They gave their recommendations for repairs they thought were urgent in order to drive it from Grants Pass to Portland, what repairs would need to be done in the near future, and what repairs might be needed in the distant future. They even asked if wanted some tips about our new (new to us) RV. It might seem like a small thing, but it's incredibly refreshing to be ASKED if I wanted advice, rather then automatically assuming I don't know about cars. I hope that makes sense... all of this to say, Jesse's is excellent and I would even make the drive from Portland to Grants Pass, just to continue working with such a great team. We have taken our older car here twice. They are fast, efficient, and ready to help you understand what is actually going on with your car. I want to stress the fast and efficient though. They never say they time to look at your car unless they really do. There is no " just leave it here overnight and we will call you tomorrow evening with an update.". They are truly fast, oil change or tune-up, efficient with their time, that thing that costs the most, and with their resources like oil, filters, diagnostics etc. Great family business.

Jesse's Auto Repair was amazing when my car's transmission started acting up while driving back home to Portland. I had called several auto repair shops in the area and no one would even look at my car. Jesse's offered to look and see what the issue was. They also gave me helpful tips to get me back home and even suggested places in my area for follow up. They really came through in a very stressful situation.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We had Robert do a used car inspection for us today, and were very pleased! He was incredibly thorough, and was informative throughout the process. Reasonable rates, knowledgeable, and nice to deal with. Glad we found him to help out with our purchase decision!

This is a family run business so you'll do best if you wait for him (Robert) to call you back, he WILL call. This is one of the best mechanics in Grants Pass we've been customers since 2011 or '12. Robert knows his stuff been training since he was a a kid. He will explain in detail what it will take to get your drive back on the road! He's doing it all including paperwork. Have patience...

Brake job- Was told it would take about 5 hrs. My rig was dropped off Fri before 3, < 7 I was informed would be done by 1 on Sat. Today (Sat) informs me < 7 he might not be done tonight, wanted to know how late was too late to call. Rig ready Sunday morning upon inquiry.Also I was given astronomically dif pricing on a tranny repair (estimated prior to brakes) after I gave him a check to start the brake job. I decided not to pay 200 for new axels since other auto shop said it didn't need them and that's a big ding to the pocketbook.The young man who works the front is friendly and knowledgable. I would recommend this repair shop. Be available to communicate issues that may pop-up.

Lol stumbled across this looking for a trustworthy mechanic and , wow , I had them do my starter on a basic chey straight 6 and they couldn't even do that right , how do they get these reviews worst shop in town hands down , I could have done it myself but strapped for time and ended up having to fix what they did myself , big waste of my hard earned money , everyone I talk to has similar stories , these reviews have to be false or paid forService: Engine repair

I went to get an A/C recharge at lithia dodge on 7th street and was told they couldn t tell me why my A/C wasn t blowing cold still. They told me their scanner couldn t communicate with my vehicle and to go directly to Subaru. I called this shop and he had me come in and found out it was the refrigerant flow sensor. Rob took a closer look and found it was a bent pin that wasn t connected. I only paid for diagnostics and the tip. Awesome shop and would recommend

Robert is a very well knowledge and seasoned mechanic i didn't k ow him a few weeks ago but i left him my car and was hoping he'd be a righteous and honest mechanic he told me what i knew was wrong and that let me know i could trust him. I recommend him a thousand times

Did a great job on my VW TDI! Drove from crescent city to have him fix my clutch, my car is running better then it has in years Thank you so much, I ll be driving back to him next time I need work done, hard to find a honest mechanic these days! Support this kid

I set up an appointment with this place 10 days ago. I showed up early. I called at the scheduled time and left a voice mail since nobody was there. Half an hour and two more voicemails later, I made an appointment somewhere else.If I'm going to take time off work and drive a car with problems into town I'll take it to a mechanic that actually shows up.
