I took my 2012 Chevy Sonic to D&G auto repair when my car stopped working properly. I had taken my car in to another car repair shop for my 100 thousand mile maintenance. They worked on it and after a short while I started having problems with it. It overheated and then it started leaking oil around the cover head gasket. I took it back to them while still under warranty and they wanted to charge me 500.00 to fix it. My car got worse and finally I brought it in to D&G. Speaking with Travis he listened to what we had to say about the problems we were experiencing. He went to work on it and changed the cover gasket, spark plugs and the coil. After 2 days he called me and said it was ready. My car runs great and my experience with Travis was great. Very courteous guy and tells you straight to the point. I am planning on taking my car back for other problems. Very pleased. Thank you Travis. I will recommend you to others.Clara G

Travis is truly the "Cesar�Millan" of the mechanic world. If he doesn't know what the problem is, give him a little time; he "will" figure it out. We took our 99 4Runner to him to help us figure out why the engine light kept coming on,�and why it was running so rough. He poked and prodded, replaced a few parts, poked some more, and after a few nights of lost sleep, he was able to find the issue and repair it. This rig hasn't run so�good in a long time. Thank you, Travis. You should add "The Car Whisperer" to your business card. I've been looking for a solid mechanic that I can trust with getting my ride back on the road, and I am happy to report that I won't be taking my vehicles anywhere else.

He sold me a minivan that I was buying to help someone out. The person I bought it for is Travis' friend. Travis runs D&G auto. They are now trying to say it was a donation. I set it up to take payments for helping someone out with the van. It was not a donation. Plus the van had a tin of issues , and needed more repairs. Travis is a liar, and not trustworthy at all. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and I'm going to be taking them to court.

I m happy with Travis and his team they diagnosed the problem successfully on my Acura RL and got the part I was able to afford with them still being great OEM parts with lifetime warranty and they put the best fluids in that they can. They got the job done in under a week with affordable labor hrs. and my car is on the road and happy as I can be.

After going to the local Jeep dealership and receiving an entirely unreasonable estimate for replacement of the transfer case and repair of the parking assist system on my 2010 Jeep Commander (at only 51K miles), I ended up here at the referral of a friend. What I found at D&G is an honest repair shop with integrity that works with their customers for the best and most reasonable solutions to their service needs. My vehicle was repaired at a reasonable cost, in a reasonable amount of time and has been operating reliably ever since. Great work guys!Service: Transmission

Travis has completed several repairs I've needed for my Subaru. He is honest, fair and always welcoming. He locates the problem quickly and he's a skilled mechanic who gets your repairs DONE! I've known Travis for about 6 yrs and this is what I can say " I've never seen him not be able to fix whatever was put in front of him". He just has that gift and knowledge that is truly a rare quality in a person... He also showed me how to replace my back window in my car that got broken out...he is a patient teacher who likes to share his knowledge...He has so many things he is especially good at...Wiring...electrical...putting in stereos...window tinting...I could name more but don't want him to get a big head....lol.....Thank you Travis for all you do keeping our cars on the road....Services: Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Made appt to replace valve cover gaskets, took 2 days instead of 1. In process Travis broke Heater box on firewall (it was brittle). Travis called Cadillac ordered new one at cost of $140 and his 20% on top of that. My cost $168. I approved and made appt for him to install. What was supposed to be 1 day install turned into 9 days. Excuses were: a lot tougher than he expected, need to put car on lift but partner had it busy for 3 days, busy and accidently double booked 1 day. Everyday was promise of done tomorrow. 2 of those days no communication at all, I left message asking for status, no response. Final outcome was 9 days of car sitting outside, Bill of $1400+, A/C not recharged (has offered to charge system next week at no additional charge). Had to remove valve cover to get heater box installed so needed to replace gasket again. Cost of heater box billed to me $211 ($44 over original quote) $190 for second set of valve cover gaskets. After expressing my dissatisfaction with this experience and the inconvenience of being without a car for 9 days, Travis gave me a 20% discount and wished me a good nite. Final outcome is unhappy customer who won t be back.Service: Engine repair

Wow. Beyond words amazing service. He has helped diagnose issues with my car, other car repair locations were unable to fix. He worked with my schedule and identified what needed to be fixed first in order to keep me driving between repairs. Serviced car and replaced broken tail light. Very happy with work performed on my Mercedes Benz. The price was fair, the car was ready on time, and is running smoothly.
