Ted was great. He told me and showed me the pros and cons of my purchase. The process was slow and deliberate, making sure I had a complete understanding. Because I was out-of-state, Ted advised of the road and weather conditions to protect my purchase. He stored my vehicle for me until it was safe to drive it home. In the end, I ended up with a great buy. It was smooth and easy.

I bought my 2000 VFR800 from Ted this summer. From start to finish, it was a fantastic experience. Ted is a true professional and always puts the customer first. He communicated with me every step of the way and made buying remotely a breeze.There is a reason Ted and Automania has been in business for over 40 years. Highly recommend this business! Ted spent 30 minutes with me explaining how to value a vehicle that he wasn t going to be a part of the sale on and knew that from the onset. He took the time to give me a free appraisal of a high performance muscle car that s a tough one to get a solid number on. He did the research and his years in the business to give me a solid number that I could be comfortable and confident in selling it for. My previous experience with another outfit a few years ago cost me over 300.00 for not nearly as accurate of info. This is a rare example of someone doing something for nothing just to help me out.

Ted at AutoMania LLC did an excellent job of selling my motor scooter thru his business. Great presentation and photos were offered on his web site and were super professional. My experience buying my 2000 Honda VFR800fi was fantastic. I was a nightmare customer that walked in with all kids of questions and issues. I had a bad schedule, a bike I was thinking about trading in, weird payment issues, and a slough of newbie questions. Ted was extremely patient and supportive. He listened to all my questions and concerns, considered all my offers, and and we walked through all the scenarios of getting "my" bike in my garage until we found the one that worked best for me.As for the bike, the thing looks brand new. Not "good for a 20 year old bike", but brand flipping new. Everything was beautiful and clean. The ride is solid and smooth, incredibly smooth. Everything in Ted's shop has the same feel of meticulous care and quality.I would gladly work with Ted again, to buy or sell. He was great and his shop is awesome!

Absolutely terrible professionalism. Overheard Ted yell at one of the O Reilly employees over $2 on a bottle of antifreeze. As I was picking up my parts I overheard him telling the employee how incompetent they were because their price was not what he wanted. None of my business will be going here if they are going to treat good people this way.

Outstanding service and quality. I purchased a used J30 Ursa Minor camper from Ted. Ted was professional and easy to work with through the whole process. He even installed the camper on my jeep for me --- which was a huge help given how heavy and bulky the unit is.

Compared to Teds inventory, my purchase of my Kawasaki Z1000 was a drop in a bucket, yet Ted treated the transaction like it was his number 1 priority. He was fast and responsive in responding to my inquiry along with providing me all the information needed for my bank to approve a loan. Without a doubt one of the most pleasant and enjoyable experiences I ve had while purchasing through a dealer!

Really great experience selling with Ted. We sold a 1920s Packard that had belonged to my dad and it was his dream car. Through every step Ted was responsive and had good advice and recommendations for local service providers. Us being remote we had to rely on on him more than someone might had we been local. Having him there and being so hands on made a massive difference for us. This was also an estate sale and Ted handled that well and with the patience and care needed. And finally he s just a car guy, he really understood and appreciated the vehicle and it shined in the pictures and the vivid descriptions. Ultimately the car ended up in good hands and we re glad to see the next family enjoy her. Thanks Ted!

Purchased my 93 R32 GT-R from Ted and could not be happier. It was in amazing shape and Ted was more than transparent and honest with me about the car as a whole. Best car buying experience I have ever had in my life. When I made the 7 hour drive to pick it up, the car was ready and good to go all the way back home.A high quality man, selling high quality cars. Could not be happier.

Just bought a motorcycle through Automania in Grants Pass 11/1/2021. They set the bar across the board for what I consider the perfect customer experience. From the moment I reached out and inquired about the bike, Ted was responsive, extremely knowledgeable, not only about the bike's background, but in walking me through the entire purchasing/delivery process. I had Automania sell my restored 1960 VW bus. They ended up selling it for far more than I had thought and were very transparent about the whole process. They took care of everything: brokering, payments, shipping etc. Super easy process for selling a high value vehicle and I didn't have to worry about being scammed. I didn't have to do any work! Highly recommended. Shop is very professional, clean and secure. They know a lot about various cars including my old VW. I would not hesitate to sell another vehicle with them.

Contacted them from a Craigslist ad. Spoke with Ted from the beginning he was nothing but professional & courteous. Through our whole dialogue I felt he was being honest and forthcoming with any and all knowledge of the motorcycle I was interested in. I drove 604 miles round trip to pick up the motorcycle. I was very pleased with the price, item and customer service I received from Automania.... A pleasure to do business with !

I had the pleasure of working with Ted on a car I was interested in purchasing. I went as far as providing a refundable deposit and getting the car inspected at a local independent repair shop (Scott's Auto Repair...also a pleasure to work with and highly recommend). I drove all the way out from Bend with trailer in tow with every intention to purchase. Ted met us at his place on a Saturday. He was very patient as I scrutinized every aspect of the car. No high pressure sales tactics. Only sound advice. Ted's description and assessment of the car was right on point. At the end I decided the car was not right for me. Ted understood and promptly refunded my deposit. My whole experience was outstanding. Ted's timely communique's, patience and knowledge of cars and the market are bar none. I will be keeping an eye on his inventory to see if we put a deal together in the future.

Never been treated so well by a business as we were at Automania. We bought our 1940 ford truck and it is everything we were told. Love it! Anyone looking to purchase a classic or motorcycle do yourself a favor and go there. Ted is the real thing. Honest and up front with you. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. Highly recommended. Had a blast buying this truck. So friendly and fun to be around. May God bless you Ted.

Ted was very awesome and straight forward with any questions or concerns we had about selling our truck. We had a classic truck that we just didnt have the time to advertise or meet people to try and sell. Our work schedules just would have never worked. Ted took on getting this sold for us and we are so thankful. He did the work, we waited, and bam, got the call that it was sold. My husband took over the title, Ted wrote us a check and that was that. Without Ted's help we may have never got it sold. Thank you again Ted, huge relief. Definitely recommend.

My wife, Karen, and I purchased a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LT from Ted Holman in May of 2022. It was a very fun and enjoyable experience! We never felt any pressure to buy. Ted didn't try and sell us the vehicle, rather he wanted us to make sure this was the vehicle that was right for us. We have had it for a couple of weeks now and are very pleased.

Absolutely the best car buying experience I have ever had in my life. Ted was so nice, he explained everything about the Jeep we were purchasing. I have never in my life met a more honest car salesman. If I could give a 10 Star I would. Everything went so smooth and fast. Not the BS you get with big car dealership. Ted is your guy. I will tell everyone what a great experience we had. Love my 1997 Jeep Wrangler.

Have known Ted a couple of years now. First when selling my husbands bikes, which needed someone who saw what they had been and where they could go. That was Ted He handled everything and got a great price. So when the time came to sell the Defender; no doubt, I called Ted. The selling of this vehicle was a bit more complicated. But I did not have to do one thing. He handled everything. Laughing at me all the way. Ted is up front honest and extremely knowledgeableThanks again Ted for everything

I bought my BMW (K1600) from Ted about a month ago and the experience was great. Ted was very responsive and upfront about everything. I did buy the bike 'sight unseen' against my better judgement but after several conversations, dozens of pictures and a recommendation from the local BMW dealer, my mind was put at ease. Ted was easy to deal with and there was never any pressure. I'd be more than willing to do business with Ted/Automania again. Ted earned, and gets, my highest customer rating. Killer photos on the walls...and high-class inventory on the floor. I NOW understand why so many people have told me about this place. They strive to remove emotions from their sales process...but the funny thing is that their humility and desire to make a great fit for great vehicles ends up endearing people to their company. From start-to-finish Ted took care of it all - even smoothing out some "bumps" that I caused...He IS the expert and fun to deal with.

Just picked up a 1928 Ford Model A. Let me tell you, it is absolutely gorgeous! I drove 10 hours to pick up the car. The number 1 thing I have to say, in person this car is way more gorgeous! Ted was very helpful!

Even though I didn't contract with Ted for consignment services, his replies to my questions were prompt and thorough. During the entire exchange Mr. Holman was courteous and never made me feel like he was doing me a favor. My Mom needed to part with her 1983 Mercedes 280SL, Greta.Ted was extremely helpful by selling it quickly, painlessly and at a fair price to a car collector back in Germany.Greta will live another life in her home country!Thank you very much Ted, we could not have found a better option than you.
