Service was very thorough and well done! I want to specifically mention how great the customer service was. Travis kept me informed of what was needed for my car, and my approval was sought before any action was taken. I was comfortable and my mind was put at ease with this straight forward service! I know my car was getting what it needed, nothing more, nothing less! Thank you again for a great experience today!

I initially didn't believe the negative reviews and then had the opportunity to experience it myself. This is in regards to the service department specifically. I had scheduled my Stinger for a diagnostic one week in advance. Over the course of a 12 minute phone call, I was told that they would have availability to take a look at my car, ride services would be offered since I scheduled in advance, and that if a repair was confirmed, there would be a possibility of getting a service loaner. One week later arriving at the dealership, Jennifer Lopez told me the complete opposite. She told me there were no shuttle services, no service loaner for my vehicle even if the repair was confirmed, and ultimately, they lost my appointment. After that, she tried to insist that I called the wrong dealership. I pulled out my phone and proceeded to call the number in which we were greeted with a "thank you for calling Ron Tonkin KIA." She then proceeded to give up and say "I don't know what to tell you." She took down my number and said that the recorded call will be used to train the call center. No solutions and no alternative suggested for my situation, only frustration. I'm having a hard time believing any of the the 5 star reviews with the service I received. This was definitely the worst dealership service I've had to date. I wish I could say otherwise.

Jennifer did an amazing job for us! We had a couple of items that needed repair before our warranty ran out. She had the vehicle inspected and added a couple of additional related items items to the warranty claim, saving us thousands down the road! With one repair part on back order, she keep us regularly informed on the status until the vehicle was ready for pick-up. This is the third time we ve had Jennifer as our service advisor and she s always been awesome!

Jennifer Lopez was so helpful when I came in with brake issues on my GMC. I would highly recommend her to anyone having car trouble as she did a great job making me feel comfortable right from the start. She got my car right in the shop immediately and found that I needed new brakes. They got them done much sooner than expected and made me feel my vehicle was safe again. You can tell Jennifer loves what she does because she really went the extra mile in getting me taken care of. Go see Jennifer Lopez, she will take great care of you!Service: Brakes

I had a great experience with Jennifer Lopez getting my car fixed. I will be asking for her every time. She really went above and beyond when I was in a desperate situation needing tires replaced immediately she got it done in a day and I am so grateful! She even got the check engine light checked and the oil changed. Thank you Jennifer!

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR DIAGNOSTIC WORK. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD! We brought our 2013 Sportage in for diagnostics. We were told the front wheel bearings were the cause, but we had just had the front wheel bearings, the brakes (rotors, calipers, pads) looked & were told they're fine. We shared this is Kristin, the service advisor, who arranged for us to come in the next morning for a test drive with a technician to see if we can recreate the sound for the tech.The next morning upon arrival, we were denied a test drive with a tech & the service manager, Geoff Walker, refused to come out of his office to speak us let alone go for a test drive with us himself. Rather, I overheard him tell Kristin"No, I will not go for a test drive with them. This is what our tech has diagnosed, if they have a problem with it, they can go somewhere else. But we are not re-diagnosing something that we've already stated as the problem."When pressed about the sound of a failing bearing being a consistent noise with the rotation of the tire, Kristin agreed. When pressed about whether or not the tech actually took the wheel off the vehicle and inspected the hub, she couldn't provide an answer. Rather, she stated:"So specifically, let's go over what the notes say:'Test drove vehicle. No abnormal noise from within cabin with windows rolled up. With windows down in parking lot areas, can hear rhythmic�scraping type noise from outside vehicle. Noise appears to be coming from front wheel area. Raised vehicle & operated off ground. No abnormal noise heard. Probed front wheel hubs with stethoscope while operating on lift. Some minor bearing noise heard from both front wheel bearings. Removed wheels & inspected brakes. Found rotors slightly rusty, but brakes otherwise in good condition. Attached�chassis ear probes to front steering knuckles & redrove vehicle around parking lot. Some similar scraping noise could be heard through chassis ear. Noise *MAY* be coming from front wheel bearings. Recommend replacing bearings & rechecking.'The estimate to replace both front wheel bearings is about $1,095."Upon hearing that the technician couldn't provide a definitive diagnostic, we asked whether we will get our money back if replacing the bearings doesn't fix the problem: No. When asked, again, if we could speak with Geoff, we were told:"He will not come out to speak with you. This is what we've diagnosed, if you do not think this is the problem, you're welcome to go get a second opinion." (Kristin)"So you expect us to drop $1,100 on a what "*MAY* be wheel bearing", w/o even a guarantee that the wheel bearings are the issue & if the issue is still present, we will not be getting our money back, correct?"�(Me)"That is correct. We've given you our diagnosis." (Kristin)_______________________________________________________________I want to make it VERY VERY clear, in NO WAY is Kristin the bad guy in this situation. She was just the middle-woman having to be the messenger. She handled herself & the situation calmly & professionally.GEOFF WALKER, THE SERVICE MANAGER, SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF FOR NOT SUPPORTING HIS STAFF & FAILING TO PROVIDE BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. The fact he was TOO ARROGANT & TOO LAZY to even leave his office to come talk to my husband & myself tells me how poorly he manages his service department, & how low his standards are for providing quality work. I will NEVER be bringing my vehicle back to Ron Tonkin Kia, nor will I ever purchase a vehicle from any Ron Tonkin dealership, or Kia, ever again.We did get a second opinion, from Parker Johnstone Honda, who took the time to listen to us, & went for not one, but two test drives. The first was with the service technician, Mark, the second with the service manager, Jose. We were able to recreate the sound with Jose present, after which his technicians were able to successfully identify the cause of the sound we were hearing; which was NOT the wheel bearings.

This review is for the online service appointment .. near impossible to use it'll take you a half hour to get through it and you'll get nowhere and wind up calling.The one star is strictly for this part of the service the rest of their services outstanding .This is for Gladstone unit.

Don't come here. They have terrible customer service and don't respect your time.Scheduled an appointment over 2 weeks ago because my AC stopped working. I get a call as I'm driving to my appointment to tell me my appointment was canceled because "they don't do diagnostics on the weekend." That's fine you don't do diagnostics on the weekend, but it's terrible customer service to wait to cancel my appointment less than 30 minutes before it starts.

I scheduled an appointment to have my airbag diagnosed as there is a recall for a lit airbag light. I scheduled this appointment nearly 2 weeks ago. I confirmed during this appointment that I can drop the car off early as I have to go to work and will catch a ride with a friend. I'm assure this is no problem.Today I receive a call informing me I will have to pay for any diagnoses that occurs if the diagnoses does not diagnose the recall issue. I proceed to read them the text in the letter that I received from Kia that clearly says: "You will not be charged for this diagnosis."They continue to inform me that I will be charged at which point I inform them to cancel my service, I'll contact corporate that they are not doing recalls at this location and I'll let my attorney know they are giving me the run around.I receive a call back saying, "Oh, I am new and after talking to someone else we will cover the diagnoses. I didn't understand you had a letter saying it was no charge." Keep in mind, I literally just read them the text off the letter.I then asked about dropping my car off early as they had not responded to the message I sent them through my system. I'm told, "Oh, we've been very busy this morning and haven't had a change to respond to messages." Ok, so how early? Well, your appointment time is 10am so 10am is when you can drop it off.So basically anything they tell you is a flat out lie. They will charge you even when they're not allowed to, probably to pad someone's pocket book. I would recommend you go ANYWHERE else for ANYTHING you need related to your car as I'm fairly certain they will not be honest with you.I just found out refusal to take care of a safety recall exposes a dealership to a ~$26,000 fine.... really wish I would have known this at the time as I would have definitely pursued this. Might make them rethink their lack of customer service.

They are amazing! I found a vehicle I really liked from them on carfax and sent an automated email checking to see if it was available. Within 2 minutes of me submitting that I got a phone call asking if I would like to set up a test drive to see the car for the very next day. I was in and out in a much shorter amount of time than I had expected and everyone was extremely nice. Donovan helped me the whole way and did an amazing job at it. Ended up going home with the most beautiful car and I couldn't be happier. I would reccomend them to anyone, anyway!!!!

Do not use for you service needs, while they had my Sorrento for repairs, the car was broken in to , the seats were cut, andAll my personal items were stolen, the response was it's not there fault, the don't have cameras to protect your vehicle against breakins, so no chance of getting a police report, they have gone down hill in the past ten years, just a bunch of crooks if you want my opinion!Tried to screw my daughter on the purchase of her new car, so ended up going to Westen Kia, and have bought 3 cars form them in the past 3 yearsHope this helps you make a decision about this place,I would avoid this business at all cost!!!!!Now it's time to lawyer up.Thanks for reading!David E.Services: Steering & suspension replacement, Auto maintenance

Always very professional. My scheduled appointment time has always been my slot. They bring out your parts that need replacing so you can see what the issue is, I love that. Bought my 2013 Kia in 2015 and have had it serviced at Ron Tonkin the whole time. It is now paid for and I drive over 50 miles to have Ron Tonkin Service Department continue to service my vehicle.
