Clark was an amazing sales rep and his manager/the other sales person (unfortunately did not catch the name) that he worked with were very transparent and honest. They talked me out of buying an older car at a higher interest rate with no bells and whistles. I bought a Mazda CX-5 for much lower interest and financed it for the same amount I would ve paid for an older car. I was able to stretch out my down payment for a more luxurious and comfortable vehicle for my expanding family. Thank you Mazda of Gladstone.

I had a great experiencing buying a used Mazda 3 here. Clark was super helpful and not to sound clich, but he went the extra mile to show me this car, in the dark, after an ice storm delayed me, etc. The car is great, I love it, but this review is for Clark and Austin and Melinda. There were a few paperwork things that came up after I had the car, but I think there was some unavoidable hiccups due to the dealership being in the middle of a remodel with an apparently brand new team. It wasn t anything that would stop me from going back in the future

This is a great place to purchase a new car! Although the time I was there, the weather was not helping at all and it was under construction as they recently moved to the building but Andrew Aicher made the big difference and got the deal done. He very knowledgeable with each car trim and model and he is very help even after the sale of car. Highly reccomend Andrew if you are trying to purchase a new or used car! 12/10!!

Mazda of Gladstone made our recent car purchase very easy. Our salesman Steven was great. He was very professional yet easy going and made us feel comfortable. The sales manager Patrick really helped us get a great deal. We appreciated all the time and effort they put in to help us get exactly what we wanted.

UPDATING MY REVIEW FROM JANUARY 2023:We bought our lovely silver CX9 in January, just to have it be in an accident. We returned this October, and with the help of Jeff, Jonathan, and Tom, we got ourselves into a brand new CX90! They found the exact one I wanted. These people are the best and I will forever return to this dealership for every Mazda need I have! I have owned multiple Mazda vehicles over the last decade, and this brand and dealership specially are the best!

I had an awesome experience, Andrew took the time to look over both cars I was interested in and discuss them with me. The test drive process was simple and smooth, making sure I got to experience a route that made sense to me and what my typical drives would be like and also highlight some of the neat features of the vehicle. I purchased a CX-50 and the negotiation/sale process was ideal. I wasn t rushed into decisions or looking at numbers. I had time to really explore my options and when I was ready to come back and talk numbers the process was straight forward and they really listened to what I was looking for in a car deal to feel secure about my purchase.Thank you very much Mazda of Gladstone, I m so happy with my purchase!!

My husband Mark and I helped our daughter Erin purchase her first car from Mazda of Gladstone on Saturday. Our sales rep Andrew was Extremely nice and professional throughout the entire process. You will feel very comfortable working with Andrew and rest assured he is working for you.

The only problem was they sold the light blue Select CX-5 right as I got there yesterday. It was a painless experience. I'll be telling friends and co-workers if they are interested in buying a Mazda, go find Bob at Gladstone Mazda.

James was very knowledgeable about the vehicles, answered all my questions, and communicated well. The sales manager was willing to match prices of other dealers and I felt the price I paid on my certified used 2023 CX5 was reasonably good. The paperwork part of the sale went smoothly and James was once again very professional as he demonstrated key features of the vehicle to me and my wife. I am someone who generally detests the car buying experience. This one was remarkably pleasant.

Terrible customer service, which ends the moment your purchase is complete. After speaking with two salespersons and a finance person, we were told that we could put a $3,000 payment on our credit card once the 'no payment for ninety days' offer ended. Upon receiving the first notice from Mazda Financial Services, I was then told that this wasn't an option. On multiple occasions, I spoke with management, who promised they would 'call back in twenty minutes'. That never happened. I was then told that I would have an answer by the end of the week. Likewise, that didn't happen. Upon asking to speak with said individual, I was told that both my partner and I misunderstood our conversations during the purchase. There was no accountability for poor communication, poor follow-up, and a lack of professionalism and/or training on behalf of their salespersons and finance personnel. In a field where quality customer service and communication is valued, they were sorely lacking. I will not give them my business, and likewise will discourage my friends and colleagues from doing so.

Do you ever get the feeling sales people are attempting to take advantage of you? I certainly got that feeling here today. Not so much the salesperson, but the sales manager who evaluated trade-ins. Apparently at this dealership they aim to make more on trade-ins than new cars. Maybe that s normal? I dunno I m not a salesperson. Was it because it was the first nice sunny day in a long time, was it because the salesperson was cute, was it because I told them I m a veteran with PTSD? They offered me $14k for my 2019 Mazda with low miles, upgraded speakers, great service history, and no issues. I should have known it was going to be a waste of time. I ll never buy a car here. I ll probably never buy a new car again, and I may never buy a car from a salesperson at a dealership ever again. GO PRIVATE PARTY!!!!

The salesperson was very nice. My issue is I was very specific about the vehicle I wanted. The price I am going to pay. And the fact I'm paying cash so I don't need or want financing. I was specific about not trading my vehicle to this lot. Because I will not be lowballed on my vehicle's worth. I also was upfront about my sales background. Which should be a clue that I know when you are trying to sell me something that I don't want. Please learn to listen be honest and respectful and the sale will come to you.

Very impressive visit. Not expecting such a good experience, Allan Carroll was very knowledgeable and kind in showing me the Rogue I ended up purchasing, taking time and handling all my questions easily. Very nice young man! Matt (his boss), was also awesome, no pressure and friendly. Dave in the Finance Department was thorough and had a wealth of good information to share. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend Gladstone Mazda to friends and family with no hesitation!

Overall the experience was ok. I was however asked to fill out some forms for a background check , I asked will this impact my credit score, was told no by my sales person and the guy running the #s. I purchased this with zero financing. Lo and behold, I check my email and was getting all kinds of credit inquiry alerts that a hard inquiry had been issued. Asked the finance person about this when signing and she said yes it would impact my credit and that the sales team should have never said it wouldn t. She was the best part of the whole experience. Once again, purchasing a car has left a bad impression.

If I could give no stars I would.Made a purchase back in December 2023. Saw the car online, went in the next day. I told them I had intentions of buying the vehicle so I brought a check. I was rushed straight to the finance department was told the vehicle was in detailing and I wasn t able to test drive it, but assured me it drives like a dream. Drove it off the lot, heard a funny noise. Thought I was being paranoid, eventually took it in. Ended up needing a whole new rear differential. The car had 30000 miles on it. I was also assured that all the fluids have been recently changed and all other important maintenance things like the transmission flush ect had been done. I also asked about the brakes. All of which was either new or still with a great amount of life in them, so they claimed.I ve requested my service records for the vehicle weeks ago so I could see specifically what has and hasn t been done . And have made 2 phone calls over the period of 2 weeks which was supposedly given to a higher up to assist me with the matter both times.I ve yet to receive service records or a call back. And now not even 3 months after my purchase I already have to pay more money and do maintenance to a vehicle I just paid a good chunk of money for. My questions had a purpose, and would have made me second guess the purchase had I been able to test drive it or had they been honest about the wear on the brakes and that certain flushes had not been done. As a single mother with no knowledge with how to check these things myself. I relied on the knowledge and honesty of the dealership .and that proved to be a mistake. I do understand that it is my fault not listening to my gut and should have waited to move forward with the purchase until I have actually seen and drove the car in person. But still, what a way to take advantage of a situation.

Who is paying $135 for an oil change? Mazda on the west side does it for under 90. I'd love to come back here because this is the dealer I bought my car at but they send no oil change deals and charge a premium as if the Toyota tax from next door has rubbed off on them.

Ed helped us with finding and purchasing our new vehicle, and we could not have had a better experience. Ed is fantastic to work with, and really takes the time to understand your needs and what will fit them best. Our car buying experience wouldn't have been the same without him. Highly recommend working with Ed and the rest of the team!

Bought a used diesel truck here and it has been nothing but a hassle to get anything done with these guys. With the purchase I was given two free oil changes to use within the year (truck was also 1,000 miles over due on the oil at time of purchase), so I made an appointment to get the service done. Once the appointment date arrived I waited and waited and waited before being acknowledged 30minutes after my appointment time. Once somebody acknowledged me they proceeded to tell me that my truck takes special oil and a special oil filter (diesel trucks take15w-40 oil and every car takes a different type filter nothing special there). They told me it would take a day to get the parts and then another half day to perform service. Oil changes take 30 minutes tops. Then, they say they can t do the service because it s a diesel. They say if I go get it done elsewhere they will reimburse me, since I was given the free oil changes at the time of purchase. So, skeptical, I went elsewhere and provided a receipt for reimbursement. I was told that it would take a week to be reimbursed. Waited three weeks before confronting them about it and my calls are now being dodged, left voicemails and no one ever gets back to you. (Finally ended up getting reimbursed so that s good) Typical car sales tells you what you want hear to make the deal. Prior to purchasing the vehicle we worked really hard to build our credit and asked that it only be pulled one time (we were already working with our credit union and did not ask for them to shop around). They sent it out to multiple different companies, so now we have five hard pulls on our credit. In addition, they sold us a service contract for almost $7k which covers virtually nothing. Luckily we were able to cancel within the first 30 days, but that was a fiasco in itself. They don t let you read anything and just give you a generalization of what your signing, hand you a blank pad and ask you to sign away you then get paper copies after that. In a nutshell, I would definitely not purchase anything else here or recommend anyone else to either.

Had the most frustrating experience this week with the Mazda of Gladstone team. I had bought a car from them earlier this month and was trying to get my temporary registration extended as my plates and title had not arrived yet.I had called multiple times over the course of a day and a half trying to get ahold of the sole apparently busy finance manager who was supposed to help me take care of this. Every call I was assured that the manager was with a customer and would call me as soon as he was done, or he would call me in 20-30 minutes. I got zero response over that time period. And since the finance department's voicemail box is full you can't even leave a message and had to hope whoever took down my information passed my details along. Finally I just had the main line schedule me to come down at 1:00 today to take care of it in person. Once I arrived I was made to wait two and a half hours in their waiting room and would have waited more if I hadn't called someone down to ask where the finance person I was supposed to meet was as he had walked out of the building after dealing with someone else and apparently completely forgot about me. After thIs latest call magically the guy appeared and I had the trip permit in 10 minutes. It appears once you buy from this dealership all service completely goes out the door. Completely unnaceptable I had to basically hunt the finance department down to get a simple extension to my temporary registration.

We just took our 2023 CX30 Premium Turbo to Mazda of Gladstone for her first service. The service dept was organized and efficient, and the waiting area clean and comfortable. When I got home there was an email waiting for me with a link to the video of my car's inspection. Very cool. Thanks to everyone at Mazda of Gladstone!

These are the worst people I've ever done business with. They say yes we have you approved. Then no. Then maybe, then yes, then no. Omg! Worst experience ever. The. Had to bring the car back. From the sales person to the finance person, they don't know what they are doing. To get someone's hopes up , then down, then you, crazy.I will never do business with them again and I really hope others take this into account when they go there.

I had a great time buying from Mazda Gladstone. They went out of their way to make me an outstanding trade-in offer that I simply couldn't refuse. Mr. Karner was kind enough to walk me through some different options to fit my budget the best he could. I drove away happy with my brand new CX-5.

I bought my car in October and loved it worked with Clark and he was wonderful. But if you buy a car from here do not expect them to hand you a title. I waited the 3 months that my trip permit provided and then let them know I had not received the plates. They told me ohh the dmv takes forever. So I am like ok maybe that s true. I ask and ask Tom from finance about the issue he says we re on it. So I say ok and expect that to get fixed. Then he first tells me they can t issue longer trip permits and that I d have to deal with this issue. So I call the dmv number and in a short 15 minutes I find out that I can t even do the next part because the dealer hadn t done the paperwork correctly and 30 days ago the state dmv asked for the paperwork. So I go back in telling them hey spoke to the dmv and they said I can t do this part you need to reach out a get the info from the previous lien holder. So then they give me another 3 month extension about a month in I m getting tiered of this so I call the DMV and they say they haven t been reached out to and to call my bank to see if they have the full title so we can finish all this. So I spend 20 minutes on the phone with the bank and find out that they don t have my title either! After finding that out I get furious and storm in which is not something I normally do. And I say I need my title now, I technically don t even own my car. So they assure me everything is fine that they ll reach out right away and cc me. I ask when they will reach out and they say Wednesday so I call everyday trying to get the scoop the nice receptionist people tell me they will transfer me to the finance department and they do and I get nothing back. Ps many times I would call they would say ohhhh we re having our best sales month or we re breaking records their not available. Well I ll tell you what if you can t take care of the people you already sold to then you should not be in business!!!Mazda of Gladstone has lost all my business at this point I just want that title!!!

Worst experience ever. Agreed via phone and email with a price but were offered a higher price when we came to the showroom, and said the prior quote was a mistake. We took a long way to get there on a year end day with an infant and a child and they refused to sell us a price which is $300 higher than the prior quote. They asked for $500 more, instead and whispered that there is another customer who is interested in the same car. Sounds to us a sale trick. We could pay $800 more but would no longer want to do business with them.

I've had a great experience especially end of 2022 when all other dealers were still marking up cars. Gladstone Mazda were thousands cheaper than the others.

Could not be more unhappy with this place. Our brand new cx-90 with less than 3000 miles had a critical error on 12/31/23 rendering it undrivable. There has been virtually zero proactive communication about our car. The replies after we call 4-5x to get someone on the phone (we are told they should answer the phone by the person who first answers and then it goes straight to voicemail) given to my spouse are vastly different than what they tell me. One time it s the part should be here in two days , the next is it s likely to be 3 weeks or more . They admit there has been a bunch of turnover in the whole dealership and even called our service issue botched on the phone (!). I d say so. Avoid this place like the plague. Wish we had leased somewhere else. Also, a month after our car was towed here we still don t have our car back. A month!

Amazing experience from the entire team. I was torn between a Civic Hatchback at Swickard Honda across the street and a CX5 at Mazda of Gladstone. I'm happy I picked Mazda of Gladstone. Immediately coming in, it felt warm and energetic. I enjoyed the service and the entire team for making this a seamless purchase. It was my first car and Ed and Kenra were amazing. Great deal on my 2024 CX-5 Premium without markups and overselling. They truly care about the person buying a car and don't car much about how much they are making from you. It made this experience great and I feel confident to bring the car to them for maintenance for the first few years.

First car buying experience in >10 years so I do not have any recent comparison experience. Sales Rep Jeff was knowledgable and very accomodating to our needs. Only real let down of the entire experience was > 2 hours of wasted time waiting for the paperwork!? I see no need for that to happen on a regular basis, but based on our observation if it seems to be not uncommon...if that is actually a recurring problem, then fix the problem...we were within moments of simply walking away!! Also as a professional sales person in my previous professional life and a small business owner today, it is OK to ask for a review...it is NOT OK to ever ask for a 5* review. It makes the entire review process useless if your customers are consistently asked to provide only highly rated reviews. BTW, the car is wonderful!! I would purchase from the dealship again, but I will make an definate appointment for completion of the paperwork, later that day or maybe another day and I will not respond to any future request to provide only glowing reviews.
