Stopped by at 5pm one day because my check engine light was on. He checked my oil (it was low) and did a quick diagnostic test. He added some oil for free. He was very very nice. I will definitely be going back to him for all my car oil changes and repairs!

Truly a gem of a mechanic shop here in FG!My son's car was having what felt like some possible power steering issues. I know very basic stuff, like ensuring fluids are topped off, oil changes, air filter swaps, etc - very basic. I did top off his power steering fluid (which was super low) and it helped some. However, vehicle was still making noises it usually didn't make and steering was still not quite normal. I called Dom's shop and he personally picked up the phone. I asked to make an appointment with him for a diagnosis and he was able to take the diagnosis appointment same day! My son stopped by and Dom diagnosed the issue quickly, tightened his belts for him, and scheduled an appointment for the *complete* fix a couple days out, then sent him on his way. The belt adjustment alone had the car running almost normal.Overall, my impression is that Dom is an honest and knowledgeable young man who is a hard worker and wants to earn your trust and business. He's got ours! His shop is now our household's "official" shop we'll be taking all of our vehicles to.Thanks for taking care of my son's vehicle and keeping him safe on the road! I'm sure we'll see you soon.

I went to Dom's earlier today to get a diagnosis for some power steering issues my car has been having lately. They were able to get me in the same day, get me a quote and schedule an appointment, and even tightened my belts free of charge. Service was great and they were very friendly and helpful.

Dom came recommended by a friend I trusted. My friend was right. Dom was personable, friendly, accommodating, and professional. He took time to get to know my car s history, entering information from my previous service records into his files. He had me on a plan for continued service and maintenance. He was willing to pick me up and take me home if I needed it.Dom and I were going to make sure I got another 150,000 miles on my 2007 Honda Fit.When a grandson recently totaled my car, we had it towed to Dom s Garage.Dom helped me start the claims process. The photos he was able to provide, and information about my car s excellent condition, were accepted by the insurance company, and helped make the final settlement happen more quickly. He was incredibly helpful.Dom is there to serve his customers. His actions and thoughtfulness toward me said it all. He s a 5*+ mechanic and person.

10/10 experience! I don't ever write reviews, but we had a great experience. We had a used vehicle from a dealership that he did a pre-purchase inspection on today. He was able to point out trouble areas on the vehicle's body, and explain to us what we were looking at. Not only that, he was able to give us pointers as to what to look for when continuing our car shopping process. He was able to fit us into his schedule very quickly, and was straight forward with us, which we greatly appreciated. We'll definitely be using his services again when we need another inspection done.

Service was exceptional. He looked at my car on Wednesday, ordered the parts. The next day fixed the torn boot on the axle rod, blead & adjusted the brakes, changed the oil. He also offered & gave us a ride into town & picked us up when he was done. Awesome job thank you Dom !!

I stopped by Dom s yesterday to fix my car s broken AC and to get a quick diagnosis on anything else that I might need to get fixed.Upon meeting Dominic I could immediately tell that he knew EXACTLY what he was doing and had an incredible understanding of just about everything to do with cars.He was also extremely patient, honest, efficient and made whatever issues that my car was facing very comprehensible for me.His prices were also very competitive to what I was previously quoted by other auto shops.Dom s Garage in Forest Grove is easily a 5 star place to get your car fixed. Dom was fantastic! It was my first time taking my car there, but I will definitely be going back whenever I need anything.Extremely knowledgeable and very detailed in explaining what was needed and what was happening.Update: brought my Hyundai over unscheduled due to a check engine light and some odd noises and he squeezed me in, gave me a breakdown of what was happening, and provided me with manufacturer specific plans to get it fixed. Went above and beyond.

I couldn't be happier that every other placed I called was closed...I found Dom. I will never take my car elsewhere. He explains everything so well (even I can understand it) no matter how busy he is, he always makes time for you and to communicate. Me and my Jetta won't go anywhere else!

Dom saved us! We brought in a used vehicle for a pre purchase inspection and had a great experience. We are not familiar to the area and I blindly googled a mechanic.. and so glad Dom came up! Dom was easily able to see that there had been some major structural damage to the front end from a previous collision. It was clear that this would be a poor purchase for us, so we didn t need to go any further. Dom didn t charge us for a dime. He even showed us things to look at on future vehicles. I truly believe he cares about his clients! Wish he could be our local mechanic!Service: Vehicle Inspection

I was needing a honest mechanic, and found that in Dominque. My little car went through his diagnostic process, and repairs were done in a timely matter. As a older women, I never thought he was taking advantage of me and selling me on services I didnt need. He is very sharp and very well educated with the art of mechanics. In the past year I had two overheating issues with my 10-year-old Subaru Legacy. After each time I took it to Royal Moore Subaru. It was still under warranty at the time and RM Subaru claimed they could not figure out the problem. However, as soon as the warranty expired, the dealer asked for $5K+ to fix what they claimed were blown head gaskets. Turns out there were signs of that problem way before my warranty ran out. This was the second time I had seen this dealership try to avoid using my warranty. I contacted Dom at Dom s Garage and told him about what had happened. I asked Dom s Garage to evaluate what was wrong with my car. He did and warned me that the head gaskets were not the problem. So, by going to a second, and this time honest, mechanic, I found out that I should not trust Royal Moore Subaru to fix my car. This was an invaluable service to me because it was not hard to imagine Royal Moore fixing the problem for $5K and not actually not fixing the problem. Dom s Garage kept me from getting ripped off by the dealer, yet again. I trust Dom to be honest with his customers and plan to return in the future. Great shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

My 19-yo daughter is in the process of buying her first car. We took a second-hand car she was interested in to have Dom check it out before she bought it. The inspection was very thorough, and he carefully explained all the things that were wrong with it and how much it would cost to repair them he basically saved her from buying a real lemon.He then spent half an hour walking her through what to look for in a used car and going over warning signs. He even wrote out lists of good and not-so-good brands to buy used. He was incredibly nice and helpful, and my daughter and I both learned a lot.The inspection cost my daughter $50 but we both feel that she got way more than that in value. We highly recommend Dom!

This place is amazing. Dom is amazing. I bought a car that was giving me some trouble. I took it in to see him. He was so helpful and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to work with me and help me. I now know why this is who everyone recommended. I won't go anywhere else.
