We had trouble with our Jeep while visiting Florence from out of town. Tony's identified the problem and fixed it that day for a more than reasonable price. Refreshing to know there are still honest and skilled service professionals out there. Thank you Tony's Garage! You're the best!

This place is great. We live in Bend, My wife and kids were leaving Florence to come back home when she had a huge issue with her car. They were able to look at it same day, diagnosed it and fixed it the next day. They were friendly, easy to work with, and a life saver. Thank you all for your help

I will never bring my car here again. My vehicle had some serious issues, I did a lot of research for local mechanics and everything seemed like Tony s was the go to spot. I had them diagnose my issues and was told an outrageous amount for the work over $3k. My main issue were brakes and they said I needed to replace my rotors, calipers, pads, the entire system. I finally was able to afford all the parts they said I needed and had a friend help me install. Turns out my front brakes were completely fine and have easily another 20-30k miles left on the pads. All my rotors and calipers were perfectly fine, I just needed new pads in the rear! My friend laughed when I showed him the quote. Do not trust them, they will obviously do anything to make extra money from their clients.So much for an honest mechanic, I will stay very far away from Tony s from now on. So disappointed with the service and honesty I was given. I d definitely recommend anyone to find an honest mechanic rather than these scam artists.

I've been there just once, but I got LOTS of work, as i have 5 Toyota's (Lexus has Toyota engines, i got 2 of 5 Toy's) so I'll do a more complete review down the road.But the belt on Lexus was on time (they are a VERY busy place and I was worried... AND they were friendly & helpful! I loved it, my wife now want our taxes to do her Lexus! PRICE WAS REASONABLE!! I'll/we'll be BACK! P.s. only reason for NO 5 is I NEVER do! 4 is my high!!

They got me in quick. Not sure on quality breaks were immediately squeaking and other close to me have had bad experiences with them leaving things in engine that do not belong there and are repeatedly having to go back with issues. That's enough to make me leary of their service.

I swapped my battery out on my 2010 Lexus GX460. Immediately several lights came on the dash. The 4Lo light ( full time 4x4 ), the check engine light, and the traction control light. I looked online and saw some things to do , but thought I'd call a professional to see if they could get the lights to go out. I called and the lady there said sure just bring it down any time and and we'll take care of that for you! So I did , and the mechanic had a code reader computer , hooked it up to the GX's computers interface and with a couple swipes of the reader, the lights were gone !!! I then asked him how much I owed him and he said nothing. He also said you can check in the office if you want ... So I did and she said no charge ! Amazing !!!So Tony's Garage is the best in Florence for their expertise and true customer service . I highly recommend Tony's garage with out question or reservation !Call Them first !!!

We showed up at 4pm on Friday afternoon with a bad starter. We were 200 plus miles from home. 40 minutes later we were fixed and on our way.I can't express how impressed I am with these great people. And greatful for the service provided.

Absolutely the best at diagnosing the issues with my truck. They got me in within a couple of days of calling to see if they could do a tune-up. They call before doing any work to tell you what they found to be the problem, with an estimate. Friend had a 69 Chevelle, exhaust came out, Tony fixed it up real quick, no charge. We gave some Hawaiian honey. Great people.

I m relatively new in the area and needed work on my truck. I was recommended locally by everyone I asked to go to Tony s. They were very very friendly and professional. They are also honest and do great work. It s nice to have a garage that you can count on. It was the best experience I ve ever had with auto repairs I didn t do myself. I highly recommend!UPDATE: I ve taken both of my vehicles here for the past two years and they are always honest, fair, and reliable. I ve never had this good of experiences EVERY TIME working with any garage, especially one so busy. They are just fantastic and a well run business. Best garage in town. Always friendly, helpful and accommodating. Gets the job done in a timely manner. Have always been an honest shop to go to. Been dealing with Tony's since the late 90s and they've just gotten better and better over the years ...Thanks to everyone there

Tony is the man. He is incredibly nice and honest. I had the hardest time removing my pulley from the alternator, so took it in and Tony had it off in seconds. I highly reccomend this mechanic.

8 hour drive for vacation turned into near disaster with engine problems. Tony's got us in right away, and within 2 hours we were back on the road for a great vacation. They were so friendly and professional. They quickly helped diagnose what was wrong, get parts from their downtown location and helped us along the way to getting back on the road. I moved to Florence a couple years ago and have been lucky with my saturn vue, but it's aging and last week I found myself in need of a local repair. With 250,000 miles on my car the alternator finally went out. I called 4 local shops (all 4 that Google popped up in town) when the gal at Tonys said she'd call me back with a quote I thought, "YEAH RIGHT!? " ... while i waited i called the other 3 shops. One didn't answer. One quoted 800 to 900 and 3 weeks to get it in. The other quoted 750 to 800 and also was at least a couple weeks out. Then Tonys called back!!! It was quoted 400 to 500 bucks and if i brought it in early the next day it could be out in the afternoon!!! So I got it there the night before, used the after hours drop box for my keys and at 930am i for a call again from Tony's. ... thinking, "oh no. It must be bad" in fact it was great news... she said it was ready and in fact my bill was UNDER 400. They even worked with collecting billing over the phone and made the ENTIRE PROCESS super easy and fast. It's hard to find good service in this town, it's even harder to find EXCELLENT AND HONEST service. There were no upsells in services, no doomsday speech about already known issues the car has and best of all, NO SHAME for the dog hair and pile of dutch bros coffee cups inside lol.I highly recommend this shop to ANYONE in need of a great mechanic on the coast. Repair Shops are NOT the kind of place you HOPE to have to visit again, but I'll definitely be back with my vehicle repair needs for SURE!

Had an issue with my GMC pickup last week ,New to florence . Asked around as to who i could trust with repairing my broken truck , Was told by several businesses that Tony's Garage was the place to go to .From the day i went to their business to set up am appointment to the day i drove away with a fixed engine i had / have experienced nothing but professionalism and i believe honesty .I'm 71 this year and through the years have had many vehicles repaired at several shops . this one deserves 6 starsthank you

I was having my husband work on my mustang's head gasket. Lone behold after 3 days he discovered he did not have to correct parts for the job and we decided to have a shop finish the work. I called Tony's Garage and inquired if they were willing to take over the partially started work, and if so what the price range was going to be. I was able to work out an agreement with Tony and had the car towed to the shop the same day. Estimate was provided prior to me arranging my vehicle to the shop, though it took a little longer than anticipated, I completely understand as they are a busy shop. Parts took a while to arrive, but yet again I had no reason to be upset because Tony's was in constant contact with me when there was a delay. Overall I had a decent experience and will be going there in the future.Service: Engine repair

Absolutely awesome to do business with!!Recently broke down while at Habor Vista campground, went in to Tony's and within 1 hour I was back on the road!!!Can't say enough about the service and courtesy I was treated to. Hand's down the best garage I've ever had the pleasure of working with.

Out on vacation my van broke down. Made an appointment for Wednesday. I had it towed in on Sunday, gave them my keys around 12:30 pm Monday. Got a call right before 5pm that day and drove it out of their lot. Awesome service! VERY reasonable price! I told my son, who is a mechanic, what they charged me and he flat out said I got a great deal! Love these guys!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

While vacationing and hauling along an RV in Florence (I'm from AZ), I had an electrical problem with my instrument cluster, which had the oil pressure alarm blaring at me off and on, but also over and over. I can't drive 5 days back to AZ like that so need to get it fixed. Kyle took a day to research the problem, and was unable to give me a quick fix, explaining his opinion that the cluster needs repair or replacement AND the wiring traced for integrity, but also giving me an honest opinion of the cost and time needed - far more time than I could spend on the road. So for a very, VERY reasonable fee he simply disconnected the 'noise maker' so I can make it home still sane, where I will deal with the issue myself. I first went to Tony's Garage with this issue, on the advice of another RV traveler, who years before, had also rec'd excellent service there, and still raves about them. I am definitely singing their praises, and would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. Thanx Kyle!Service: Electrical

They tried to charge me $200 more than another garage down the street for the same work. Ted me that the 2 hour job would be an all day 4-5 hour job. Would never go here

The best recommendation came from another automotive specialist, "Tony's is where we all take our cars." It doesn't get better than that for me. I appreciate their friendliness and attention to detail. I was there for an oil change and asked to set up an appointment to check on an engine light. Rather than make me wait, they immediately came out to the truck and scanned the system. Customer service is a high priority.Almost 3 years later, my initial review is still spot on!

Great service and more than fair price! Tony's was recommended by a friend and we are glad we went. They replaced our broken headlight (only charged us for the bulb) and went the extra mile giving us good advice to combat fogginess on the lens.

We found Tony's Garage to be helpful. They provided us with contact information for several tow companies. When the car arrived they worked 2 hours after closing to finish the car so we could get back on the road and get home that night. The price seemed fair, especially with the difficulty they ran into with the repair. I would rate them as friendly and helpful.

Had a clutch job done about 7-8 months ago. Clutch chattered from day 1, was told there was no chatter. Gears grind now, was told they didn't. Was told clutch line would finish bleeding itself over time (lol), it didn't. Had other issues with their attention to detail that aren't worth getting into, other than they took an extra two weeks of my time to get done.It's too bad people in Florence are trapped using businesses like this. Don't expect them to honor their work without them trying to weasel out of it.Anyone who knows about cars, read their reply below. If you don't know much about cars, the odds of the machine made flywheel/clutch being bad is very low. Very very low. The odds that these idiots installed it incorrectly? Very very high. Chatter is almost always due to improper installation.Aside from that, what does that have to do with this shop denying that there's a problem (chatter, gears grinding) when everyone but them can hear/feel?Seriously, don't go to these guys. Whatever reputation they've been riding on isn't deserved anymore.Service: Transmission

Traveling far from home. The Electronic Throttle Control light came on and vehicle's acceleration and response to the accelerator pedal became erratic. Without an appointment, dropped in to Tony's. They got me in that very afternoon, did the diagnostic, performed necessary maintenance, and got it done before closing. They didn't try to upsell anything and the price was very reasonable.I used a local taxi to get to and from my vacation rental home. Cab driver said he has been taking his personal vehicle there for 20 years.Highly recommended.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

l have a 2021 Mach1, one of very few in this area. Kevin & Kyle changed the break-in oil (1400mi), replaced w/full synthetic (10qts). They also installed a one piece lightweight driveline that l had shipped to them. They had to remove the custom exhaust to do this. Absolutely flawless, never even knew they were in the car. I normally go to Tony's for the great service and great work they do, and the great customer service they have there. But todays experience was the worst. I went in for a transmission service to be done on my dodge dart, nothing wrong with that right, but then get informed that my oil cap was missing. Mind you my husband just checked under the hood before I left him at McDonald's before getting to Tony's across the street nothing out of the ordinary nothing missing at that time. They do the work I waited in lobby and at the end I get told I need to buy a 16$ oil cap because mine was missing, when it was there at McDonald's prior to this. So I just took my car to my husband and had him deal with it just to get rudely talked to by (kyle) and then hung up on. I'm most definitely going to let everyone I know about this, but it's not Tony's fault but I'm not going to let them work on my car if Tony isn't there anymore. I give Tony 5 stars but some employees needs better work on customer service and satisfaction and keeping track of customers parts they take off. We will be calling Tony when hes back from vacation on Monday. Not only that's they put the wrong oil in my car and admitted to it after I told them my car only takes 020. We are very unhappy with the service today but we know Tony will fix it when he hears about it.
