This store is Famous for Bate and switch, Very reliable for advertising 1 thing and not having it in stock, but more than willing to sell a overpriced alternative. Asking for assistance is a waste of your time, let me recommend Bimart ..

The cleanest Fred Meyer I ve been in. You can get most everything here. Departments include Meat/ Butcher, Bakery, Florist, Sporting Goods, Clothing, Nursery, Hardware, Jewelry, Books, Kitchen, Bedding & Furniture. There s also a Fred Meyer Gas Station in the parking lot (unlike some locations that have fuel offsite).The staff here is always friendly and helpful and the parking lot is enormous. If you feel like taking a walk after shopping, the Oregon Coast Dunes are accessible directly behind the store.

Bought a dozen oysters to make oyster stuffing for Christmas. When I went to shuck them they were wrapped in clear tape . I cut the tape off and discovered all the oysters were dead . Looked up why would someone tape oysters shut . Someone at Fred Meyers though that it would make them last longer. Wrong if it was true oyster farms would be doing it. I have shuck and eaten oysters in many countries and bought oysters on the east and west coast. No where have I encountered oysters taped shut . It's not safe you can't tell if they are dead

Terribly rude staff at checkout. After paying nearly $200 some of my items had security tags. Vee (?) was extremely rude and unhelpful and made it seem as if I was shoplifting because of the tags. I hadn t left the register area and had the receipt showing I paid. If you re going to only have mostly self-checkouts open, do a better job at assisting customers with their purchases!!

I called about a prescription and asked when it was supposed to be ready and if it was ready. I was told by a woman in the pharmacy that the prescription was ready and that it was a waste of her time to tell me when it was supposed to be ready. She also told me that it would take time from the patients and that it did not matter what time it was supposed to be ready. Then she hung up on me. My coworker then called. to talk to the supervisor about it and they said they would call back after they talk the associate and call us back. They called back and said that the associate said I hung up on them which is a lie. I let them know my calls are recorded and that is not what happened (.also I have it on camera). The supervisor did not seem to care how her associate was treating me. She just let me know the information I wanted from the pharmacy staff originally. This is some of the worst customer service I have ever had. I do not recommend going here if you don't have to.

So they have a lovely store very clean, but beyond that their customer service is excellent. I'm back packing along the Oregon coast and I was looking into some bison to cook with some mushrooms and asparagus, I've never had before and the employee there, named Jesus, had never had bison, he said, so as I was looking it up on Google to find out what to cook it with he was already telling me how it should be cooked and what to cook it with which I thought was amazing, I mean knowing the product and having excellent customer service skills is lacking in today's society but it's making a come back God willing, another employee Christopher who went out of his way to go in the back room to get a set of keys to unlock the cabinet so I can get me a beard trimmer needs mentioning too....wonderful employees wonderful service five stars all the way around.

Feels like a lot of stuff got taken out after the remodel. Not as much variety in the selection and services like the blood pressure machine is gone.

I've never been in a Fred Meyer before but i was very pleased that I did stop and go in. We originally stopped to buy gas (which seems like it was a few cents less expensive than the other gas stations in the region) but then we decided to go inside. The restrooms were very clean, the store is HUUGE, great selections of EVERYTHING! The people were nice. A very pleasant surprise!

I live here & their web site would NOT let me down load the coupons I needed to save $$. 5 hrs of changing my passwords b cause it kept telling me it was wrong. If you don't save your receipt w/gas points on it you lose them because they don't go on your acct. I feel sorry for the poor employees who take the brunt of people's anger when it is beyond their control. This store used to be my favorite, but the more they try to "improve" the worse they get.

The store itself is nothing special but just beyond the parking lot is a world of adventure. It almost transforms landscapes; just park in the lot and you'll enter a new biome with insane views of the sand and just beyond that an otherworldly woodland.

I found most of the items on my list and many of my digital coupons were found, there were a few items I was unable to find as the shelves without said product and there for empty. Busy labor day weekend, I understand

The groceries that you find at Fred Meyer are always the freshest that I have found in our small town whether you are looking for produce, bakery items, or meats. The Kroger brand items are great for budget shopping as well.

I ordered my mother a Mother s Day brunch from Fred Meyers website, the day before, to be delivered with Instacart. I received confirmation of the order and was charged for the order. The order summary email had a link in it that implied I could manage my order, I could not, it simply brought me to a new page to order. I received one email stating the order would be delayed one hour. The order never arrived. The order failed to show in either my instacart account nor my Fred Meyer account. There was no support option on the website. Instacart support was unavailable without an order number. For hours I troubleshooted. I have emailed Kroger support twice a day since Sunday, requesting support and a refund. The order was delivered, after my mother left town, and to a neighbor- the next DAY. I understand driver or supply issues, stuff happens. What I don t understand is how there s no way to get a human to help me and make this right. I live one block from Kroger across the country. No one is willing to help me. $100, a gift not given, and resorting to this to get attention. Do better!

Stooped by for gas in our motorhome. Went to the East pumps. No one ever waited on us, the attendant never said anything to us or even looked over at us. We left and purchased our $100.00 worth of gas at Safeway.

Staff were a little standoffish, except for in the deli/hot food area. They were training someone new there and that person did so well, was super fast, and helpful and showed me where I could find more utensils if needed. The person at self check out pretty much ignored me when I asked 'how are you' and smiled and she looked at me and then greeted the next person to come up moments later. Store was very crowded and they had a large selection.

Sad they didn't trust me when I said I'm shopping for an elder on senior citizen discount day. Especially when over 50% of the locals are seniors. Some elders can't make it to the store yet still could use the extra savings. Hope you can change your policy and trust in humanity.

Prices are20 to 30percent cheaper than other stores available in the area you can get nearly anything you need well not so cheep anymore it seems they jack up.the prices every week sucksno change store prices are even higher but it's everwhere it's timethere prices to drop instead it seems some have gone up more

The online weekly ad was almost impossible to access. Then it was tiny and when enlarged, blurry. It no longer appears in Eugene paper.This means I will be shopping therelessa d less. It's just plain to much trouble.

We have been in this store a few times over the years while visiting family in the Florence area. Always great prices, clean store and they offer a lot of higher quality products. We did some Christmas shopping while we were here. Helping out the local economy. During our visit we had an interaction twice with the same check out lady. Each time it wasn't pleasant, actually I wouldn't say she was rude I would say more of a mean person towards us. I'm still rating a 4 and I'm not mentioning names, but don't expect a great overall if shopping there. We shopped in the evening both times.

I have never been so humiliated in my life. I just left the Fred Meyer store in Florence OREGON and as I was leaving after paying my girl forgot to get fruit so she went back. As I approached the door and Asian woman employee screamed I didn't pay in front of the whole store and ran to grab security. I almost died from the embarrassment. The cashier even handed me the stuff I forgot in front of her....they did make an effort to address the problem. They sent me 20 dollars of credit

some good deals . was in mens clothing the other day , clerks were not very helpful , two different ladies would maybe answer 1 question then walk away then just went to a different aisle and now 3 of them just stood around and talked and joked , i assume because they were laughing ?Am going back today to purchase some cross training shoes .some good prices on mens training shoes { running ]
