Every service writer that has worked for this place blatantly knows that they are ripping people off with a smile I ve seen them and had them tell me that they don t care that they ripping people off they know they re the only ones in town so they can charge whatever they want And this has been going on for years

Would best to drop your trailer before going if you just need work on your TriPac. Better to arrive early in the day before they get busy. I called ahead to let them know I was coming. Got the service I needed in short order. Reasonable rates for parts and labor. Friendly staff.

The company who made the heater in my van recommended I take it here to see why it wasn't working. Peak Thermo King charged me over $200 to tell me it was a model they couldn't work on. I was astonished since there was no mention of that kind of charge when I called initially and told them what the error code was. So they knocked it down to $150. Still outrageous. Very poor business model. I will never refer them.

Great mechanical service, but terrible communication between shop and front desk. I understand when a business is really busy that some things slip, and I'm fine with things taking longer than planned - but the least they could do is call the customer to fill them in on a changing situation. In my opinion they could help themselves with (a) better communication to their customers and (b) a more effective shop scheduling and ticket system - like other reefer tech shops I have dealt with.

Have picked up and dropped trailers here many times over the years and they've always been friendly and professional. Only one thing to watch out for is that their space is quite limited and it's a science project with a calculator and a slide ruler to ease your equipment in and out. Good luck.

Called ahead to make sure they would have the parts to repair APU. Needed a fan. Didn't have one. Didn't idle for 10 minutes and would shut down. They said I needed a new mother board and replaced it. Still shut down. So they said it needed a new alternator but didn't have time to replace it. Needed a fitting for AC. Didn't have the part. I am out $1800, lost a good paying Friday load and nothingwas repaired. The mechanic became testy and didn't replace covers correctly. I had to get service manager. I just have to say, watch out. And abs light now comes on. Did mechanic hit the control module when he got TESTY?

This place is a rip off they charge $149 hr but move slower then turtles so they can collect a payment. Brought in a trailer with reefer power draw issue and told them exactly that. Took them 2 days to fix charged me $520 bucks and all they did was replace the battery telling me that was the issue. 3 days latter same problem reefer wont start took it back in now they found the problem with another bill due for me. If u ask me i say stay away from this rip off place. There is another reefer repair shop 5 miles away on exit 17 i know next time i have an issues that where im going.

was told we could get in if we got here in 30min,they could get us in quick....just 2 hrs. They also told us they had a spot to drop the trailer. Told them we just needed an oil change on the APU.got there and they obviously would not be able to see us for hours, there were no spots to drop trailer, the guy was a douche and had the worst attitude, told us we had to have a 7pt...it was just a negative environment, so we left. We wanted to try this place to put on our maintenance list, but looks like it won't.

I had them change an oil pressure sensor (50$) after hours. Took 20 min. Paid 877$. When called them and disagreed about charge, after received a call from that mechanic talking trash and threatening lol. Never experienced that anywhere else. Go to TA for after hours! They will rube you... I do not recommend them to anyone!

5 Stars above and beyondFCFS based Service, got there at 5PM just before closing time.They created a work order for us and next midday they had our trailer Serviced A+Good People great Customer service.

Takes forever to get a tech to work on your truck. Expect atleast 1-2weeks downtime. Horrible and expensive service, many times they don't even fix the issue... unfortunately they are all that there is to choose from, if someone else comes along all of my business will go to them.

They did a great job but They charge little high Freon charge 13.50 per pound they told me 10$ per pound and labour they charge 164.88 instead of 147$ and they did only 15 min work on my trailer.

They services my reefer but it brome Down again. Very expensive & issue wasnt r�solve.

Had my reefer down. Arrived there and was answered in a minute. They took care of my problem about ten minutes later and I was back on the ro ad an hour later. Good and quick service. I recommend this place

Ultra awesome i actually was very surprised the mechanic fixed my reefer and told me i should go contest my prior bill from the other thermoking i went to because he said there is no way at all that the mechanic from the other thermoking did not see my fan belt destroyed so after doing a super quick and awesome job on my reefer he allowed me to take pictures of what a belt should look like and the one the other mechanic overlooked and said he would answer any questions they have about the situation

They said they charge $147 an hour... I was worked on for 30 minutes and they charged $232.00 when I tried to ask about it they acted as if they didn't know they were being extremely dishonest. I paid the bill and will just pray for their dark souls.

Arrived half hour before open to get alternator replaced say take 3 days not good for biz,,,if could give half star rating I would that is very poor shop management experience,,,

Well trained and delightful peoplebut the front desk staff is overtaxed and communication can be a bit lacking. Still totally worth it as they definitely know what they are doing.

They do excellent work, but overpriced service that can take way too long is the unfortunate result of a monopoly. We all lose until they get a serious competitor.

Thermo King NW is a great place to have work done on your Thermo King commercial refrigeration unit in the Portland area. Staff are friendly & knowledgeable on Thermo King refrigeration issues.

A good place to fix your reefer, sometime they don't do a good job on your oil, reffer shutdown do to air inside they forgot to bleed it.
