I have been coming here since I was 17 and I m38 still coming here. The best shop I ve ever went to and they really know what they doing. The mechanics are amazing and really know there stuff when it comes to cars. Rick thank you for so many years of servicing my vehicles I appreciate u and ur team for keeping meOn the road for all the years.

Rick was amazingly helpful in his attention to my vehicle. I have recommended this service to all. I ll be baaaaack. (As needed). If you own any type of vehicle, in particular, a Volvo, do yourself a favor and have your repairs done at Trackside Auto.Rick and his team of mechanics have serviced my 2002 S60 with care and reasonable pricing. Plus. The shop is amazing! A veritable treasure trove of Volvo memorabilia! Look around the yard and marvel. Inside, you ll find incredible art of the 1960s, not to mention the ever present and brilliant Rick. His knowledge of these beautiful cars is beyond the pale. He will stand up for you and provide pricing that suits your needs. I could not be happier with a Eugene engine repair service for my own vehicle. This expertise is few and far between. Six of five stars.

I highly recommend Trackside Auto Repair for any needed repairs on your vehicle. Rick and his crew are very considerate and professional, and their work is the best my pick-up truck has ever received. Amazing first time experience!I called all around to get my BMW headlights fixed. Not only did every other place quote me over double what Trackside charged me, they also said they would have to order the part and it would be a couple of days!Not at Trackside Auto! They gave me such a fair and generous quote on the fix and not only that, they drove and got the part for me and had it done within 30 minutes!!! I felt the honesty and care from them and they now have a life long customer. I feel safe with my vehicle in their hands! Thank you Trackside Auto! I really appreciate you and will be back whenever I need help!!! Cheers!

I ve used trackside for the better part of 8 years now for my Volvo 240. Rick has a great team of knowledgeable mechanics who have always treated me with the upmost respect and kindness. They ve saved me in a pinch more times than I can count! I will always take my vehicle to them. I can t say enough about their integrity as humans and their willingness to help. Rick and his crew diagnosed my car and ended up replacing the turbo in it. I also had a special situation going on where payment was being disbursed from a program and they were able to work with that. I had called many other shops that weren't very nice and couldn't seem to help since I was going through a program but this shop was able to take me. I was so grateful to have found this place!It has a very local feel to it and it was nice to know I helped contribute to a shop around town instead of some large chain.You won't regret coming here. Also, there's a pretty cute little dog in office. :)Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Oil change

I owned a few auto repair shops as a mechanic in Eugene and used to be a competitor in business. Since changing profession I have been going to Trackside for various repairs because I trust Rick and know he will do a professional job for a fair price. I have been very happy with the results and highly recommend this business for your auto repairs.

I've been taking my various Volvo's and other vehicles to Rick and his guys for over a decade and, with the exception of 1 temporary employee, I've never had a problem. Fair, knowledgeable and very good at what they do. Not a high end showroom place, but the kind of place you go to get things taken care of. Highly recommended.

My 1985, 240 is the third vintage Volvo wagon I have owned. Rick has been faithful, to a " tee", in managing repairs of my last 2. He is an incredibly knowledgeable Volvo mechanic

Always great work! I ve gone to them twice now for my truck. First one was when I hit a deer and second was vandalism to my truck. Both times they went above and beyond of what I expected. I can t thank trackside enough for the awesome repair work they do. Customer for life. Thank you! Also, very thoughtful of them to stay open past their closing time so I could get my truck.

I'm sure there have been circumstances where Trackside Auto Repair delivered flawless customer service and really did a great job, but they did not provide that to me and I won't be going back. I told them that I thought the antenna ring had gone bad, meaning the antitheft system was not reading the chip in my key (and spare key). They were pretty insistent that it was the starter. Spoiler alert: it wasn't.I wound up taking the car elsewhere for the work. Why? Because the people at Trackside do not call back. Ever. They held my car for a week and not one single time did they call me. I kept having to call them over and over and over and over again to get updates on my car that, again, they kept for a week.They may be able to deliver good customer service to you, but I will tell you with a great deal of certainty that taking your vehicle to this auto shop is a roll of the dice.

Trackside Auto is the best hands down. The owner cared for my vehicle as if it were his own. With my family's safety being the number 1 priority, Trackside's attention to detail and professionalism lead me to learn that this shop is the only one for me. I had an older 240 restored completely at Trackside. No complaints. The car went 10 yrs no issues. Not one! I will do it again someday! Thanks for everything team Trackside!!

Trackside was a lifesaver. I needed urgent repair on my Honda Civic muffler on a holiday weekend when a lot of other shops were closed. They took me right away, had the parts easily accessible, showed me everything they were going to do, and did an excellent job. They were friendly, approachable, and easy to work with.

I took my Ford truck in for a tune up. The mechanic said it needed the carb. rebuilt 250 bucks three weeks later they said it was done .I drove it and it kept backfiring and stalling. I took it back and they said it needed a carburator for 500 bucks after 3 weeks they called and said it was done and it runs good.I drove it and it backfired and stalled in traffic immediately so I took it back I said the mechanic told me they wood take good care of me and they said that mechanic doesn't work there anymore. They said the new Edelbrock carb needed a intake manifold to function right another 500 bucks after 3 weeks they called and said truck runs good I drove it and the problem was worse than ever. I took rick the owner for a ride and he agreed and said they would take care of it .I left it for the summer ,Rick said either they would fix it or buy the truck . After the end of summer I went back and they didn't touchit but the truck had new dents and someone broke into the cap. Rick offered to trade me for a 200 dollar wreck. Then he said he would buy it from me at the first of the month. Then on the first he told me he couldn't because he owed money to the irs. Finally I went back and demanded that he do something after all the patience and time and money I paid him, over 1500 dollars and he started swearing and yelling in front of other customers that my truck was a piece of junk and he doesn't want to ever see it again.So i proceeded to go to small claims court and found out he doesn't even have a business license. He has a lawyer. I called to see if we could settle in some way and he became completely abusive over the phone and told me to go ahead and take him to court. Hey, you can do business with rick if you want but he is a cheat and a liar and the owes me the 1500 I paid him. My truck was a mint condition collectors truck I sold for junk.

Rick the owner is great I can just show up and he always makes time to fix my cars problems,rather it be big or small and very fair pricing the work is always top notch and the mechanics are always really friendlyI recommend this place for all your mechanic car needs..
