I had a great experience with Sun Automotive. They fixed my car quickly and efficiently, and charged me a fair price. The staff was friendly and professional. Jon explained everything clearly. They also gave me some helpful tips on how to maintain my car better. I highly recommend Sun Automotive to anyone who needs a reliable and honest car repair. Also, the shuttle service was perfect! Super friendly driver! They are the best in town!

I came here at the recommendation of my father who had spoken highly of the service.I needed one of my low-beam headlights replaced on my 2013 Subaru Outback last minute. It is really awkward on that model because you have to go up through the wheel housing to access it.The team at Sun Automotive - Campus took me in last minute and gave me a quick turnaround. The team was very friendly and did it all free of charge. They wouldn't even charge me for the replacement parts. Great service and this will be my go-to shop for all my vehicles going forward.

I received excellent service from Sun Automotive on Agate St. in Eugene. Josh provided very detailed explanations about the repairs, itemized costs and even showed me the actual repairs that were done, including the parts that had to be replaced (e.g. cracked exhaust manifold).This was a good and necessary learning experience for me, especially considering the fact that I have an older vehicle that I would like to be able to maintain in good running condition at least for a couple more years. I also appreciated the quick service turnaround. I dropped off my vehicle on a Wednesday and got it back on Friday, two days later. Five stars. Highly recommend.

I could not have been happier with my experience at Sun Automotive. From the moment I walked in at drop off, to picking up my vehicle, Evan listened to my concerns, walked me through the process to diagnose the issues and clearly articulated the potential costs. They stayed in touch with me and communicated identified issues and talked me through the pros and cons of the repair. They were thoughtful, helpful and I felt super comfortable dealing with them. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

People are great, service is quality but it s the little things that 5 star reviews. I spent $5,000 which was a fair price but then I get in my truck and there are greasy hand and forehead prints all over the inside of the windshield blocking my view.They test drove the vehicle an and didn t notice. A bit soured over that.Edit: they reached out after seeing the review to apologize and offer to send their detailer out to take care of the window. I had already cleaned, I nice follow up gesture to make things right.

I brought my (new to me) old pickup truck into Sun Automotive on 19th yesterday. Not only did they have it back to me in a day, they did a little pro bono work that was done incorrectly at a different Sun Automotive. These guys didn t have to do that, but it makes me appreciate them on a grander scale. I do plenty of home / YouTube mechanics on my vehicles, but like anyone else, purchasing a used car is pretty scary. Especially when it starts malfunctioning 24 hours after acquiring it!! It really gave me some anxiety, but the communication and quick turnaround restored my faith in the pickup!

Best service I've received from any repair shop in Eugene/Springfield. Sent me an organized list of suggested services on top of the service I requested. Worked with me within my budget to prioritize the most important repairs and were up-front and 100% clear about pricing. My repairs required new parts and installation/testing/alignment, which in my previous experience, takes multiple days to complete. Dropped my car off in the morning and still got it back the same day. Highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a trustworthy and capable mechanic.

Very disappointed with the services my mother got. She is older and disabled and I felt like she was completely taken advantage of. They tried to charge her thousands of dollars for recals they are being offered free from the dealership. They basically scared her into thinking her car wasn't safe to drive. Thankfully my husband saw the quote and knew it was ridiculous. Her car was making a strange sound but he fixed it for under 200$ and got the recalls fixed. It was just a rock in stuck somewhere.I would avoid unless you have a lot of money to burn or like being taken advantage of. For them to just even look at the car and not even do anything she was charged 250$. Also find it very inconvenient they don't even work on cars older than 2005 or something.

Used their campus location most recently. Could hardly ask for better, faster or more accommodating. Sun Automotive really is the best place(s) in the greater EUG/SPR area for honest work and capable professionals.

You guys are wonderful! I was told exactly what was wrong with my car and what the process would be if they kept it overnight. They returned me to my residence and came and got me exactly when they said to take me back to the car shop. Thank you so much for your wonderful help and friendly, friendly nature!

Josh Majors there is excellent. Had my car in and out very quickly. Price was fair and transparent.Update Oct 5 2023I had to have the engine replaced in my other vehicle, and the job was done way quicker than I anticipated. Best customer service. I took my car in for a check up, because I had work done at another shop, and wasn t feeling good about the results or quality of the job. Come to find out the original shop used old parts and did a mediocre job on my vehicle. Sun automotive was clear and detailed on what needed to be re-done. They even gave me a deal on parts and labor. (Probably because of my traumatic experience with the other shop) I appreciate all the fellas down at the Agate location. They even gave me a ride, and picked me up from work.

I had to take my car in for servicing. I was very impressed with the service that I received from Sun Automotive, Campus. They were very kind and courteous, gave me a ride home, and did an excellent job fixing my car. I needed it to be expedited as I needed to drive out of town three days later. They were able to get it fixed by the time I needed it. Also, the manager picked me up on his way in so I could retrieve my car when I needed it. I highly recommend them!Service: Engine repair

Positive, generally. They attended to essentials for overall efficiency of my vehicle. When dropping off my car, I said tire pressure was uneven and needed attention. After pick up, I saw it hadn t been addressed. Also, when doing some fluid change, the glove compartment must have been removed . This was faulty after I collected my car, and couldn t be closed. I returned and it was quickly remedied. I ve raked my 2 cars to Sun Automotive for 22 years. I ve been happy with their service, though recent experience shows a little less attention to detail. I hope they ll be more focused on details if I do future business with them.Service: Vehicle maintenance

They've been helping me with my cars for over ten years, and I've never had a problem. Prices are good. Everything happens quickly. Communication is great. I can't think of anything to complain about. I'm inspired to write a review today since I was in a jam and they helped me out in a big way to get my car back on the road. Thank you Josh and Alex!!!

My partner and I have been going to Sun Auto for ten years now. They've always been amazing. Through the years, they've helped us with everything from brakes to electrical issues, and it's all been quick, high-quality work. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, and, unlike other auto shops, I never feel taken advantage of or condescended to. It was a challenge to have a large set of repairs all at once and not have my truck for a good portion of a week. Josh listened to my frustration and was kind, competent, and constructive as I voiced a bit of grumpiness. I was looking for a long-term mechanic I could trust well here in my new town. Dishonest. We went last year to get a tuneup and they said our rear tires needed to be replaced. We wanted to save money so went to replace them at Costco where they said they would feel bad replacing them as they still had a lot of life left on them. We had them for another 8 months before they needed to be replaced. Last month we went to get a quote on a brake repair, we were quoted $1200. Got two other quotes, both less than $600 and ended up getting it done at Les Schwab. Will not be back.

Sun Automotive is great! I've been taking my Honda here for years, and am very satisfied with the work and the pricing every time. They have a clear and easy to understand diagnostic process, and their pricing is fair. Old car went out and needed a new one quick. Staff was fast, professional, and friendly, getting me thoroughly detailed inspections of potential new vehicles as well as some needed repairs on the new car in a timely manner. Never once did I feel talked down to or taken advantage of. Made the entire car-buying process so much easier than normal. I'd rate higher if I could.

I absolutely loved my experience here. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The man who helped me was completely honest with me. He made sure to explain everything he was doing and gave me the best options. It was a very last minute emergency check up, and when we went in he immediately took care of us. Honestly the best service I ve ever gotten and I really appreciated them for this. Definitely go here!
