Bob and Team at Jackson's are wonderful. I appreciate their honesty and integrity in their communication. Especially that they let me know what needs to be done now, and what work is on the horizon so I can budget accordingly. They work they've done on my cars has been great . I have referred my employees to Jackson's, too, and they have been treated great. I recommend Jackson's for all of your auto repair needs.

I'm new to Eugene. Moved here from Illinois in June 2023. Sometime this winter I hit a pothole. My car started having vibrations. I knew I had broken motor Mount(s). Went to another to another repair shop first and paid $325.00 to learn what I already knew without any repair work being done. I can't afford that, being on a fixed income. Jackson's employees are knowledgeable, courteous, and were a pleasure to deal with. Thanks to Dakota and Josh for helping me.

2.5 hours work and $800 in parts.Promised $1800 and chargednear $2500. Wrong parts first fix. Charged me the time to redo. $650/hour effective shop rate. $$$$$ $1200- 1400 elsewhere. You decide.

They force diagnostic charges even when they dont diagnose anything. That is a scam. Period. No excuses. Quit scamming people you scumbags.A few years back I asked them to replace a wire in my driver side door that was severed. It controlled my window and had been replaced a few months back with an improper connector. Jacksons insisted I pay for diagnostics. I told them they aren't diagnosing anything, I need this wire replaced. They replied with, that's not how it works. We have to diagnose it.I ended up paying their stupid diagnostic fee and they replaced the wire. That's predatory business tactics, and a scam in fewer words. They should be boycotted.

I have been a customer here for a couple of decades. The owner, mechanics, office staff, front counter person are all professional, knowledgeable about their trade and what it takes to give great customer service. I actually go out of my way to bring my car and van back to Jackson s Auto. They are all making this a Five Star business.

Since I posted this review, I cannot tell you how much I do not and will not trust them with anything I own, let alone my car. They lost their front end people that kept us coming back. Their replacement people are incompetent at best. Bob, the owner, seems to be missing. I hope he's all right but he's not there to take care of business. I ve never felt compelled to write a google review before, but this was a pretty frustrating experience. Came in because the check engine light in my car came on. They call later saying Yeah, we re going to replace the fuel cap and purge solenoid valve, and also your front brakes are bad and need to be replaced. Haven t noticed any problem with my breaks, but hey, they must know better than I do. They call again later and say Actually there was an issue when we tested the brake replacement and your calipers need to be replaced too. I come in later that day to a $1700 bill. The guy tells me Well it turns out I ordered the wrong part by mistake for the check engine light (the purge solenoid) but it looks like it fixed the issue! .Well next day the check engine light comes on again. I m frustrated now, because it seems like the wrong part did not in fact fix the issue. I take the car back in and get a call later they acknowledge the initial screw up and tell me that the real issue is that the charcoal canister is bad. They offer to only charge me the difference between the incorrect part and the new part. Problem is that the charcoal canister apparently costs $1450.Well, I don t know where they re getting their parts from, but I did some digging and it seems to me that charcoal canisters cost about a third of that. They offered to refund me for the cost of the incorrect part, but would not give me a refund for the labor to install it, saying they would deduct it from the cost to put in the charcoal canister when I brought it back eventually. Giving them a generous 2 stars for a partial refund, but there s no way I m bringing my car back there again.

Absolute rip off, they tried to charge me $3,000 saying I needed to replace my entire a/c system. I then took my car to a trusted mechanic for a second opinion. It only needed a simple actuator solenoid. I believe Jackson auto tried to take advantage of me on a hot summer day, thinking I would fork over the money out of desperation. I called them out on what the repair really was and asked them why they told me I needed a completely new a/c system and their answer was it was in their best interest to replace the entire system. They never told me just the solenoid was bad, they told me the entire system was bad, and the entire system needed replacing. I called them out on this, and asked for my $70.00 dollars back that they charged me to inspect the car. They refused to refund me. I don t usually write bad reviews for businesses but this experience left me so upset that I felt I had to. Be warned! these guys best interest is to rip off any customer that walked in the door. Above and beyond.Recently had my truck in to get repaired and there was a huge snafu with a previous shop that had worked on it down in California. Not only did they fix the problem the other shop caused, they did over $700 of work for free because it wasn't covered under the shops insurance. Now that's impressive. Will always take my vehicles here in the future as well as recommend them to others.

Finally, an honest mechanic in Eugene. The guy running the place has been building race cars in his garage for 25 years... he knows what he is doing and the most affordable way to do it. Ever seen that sign "we fix $10 haircuts?" Make sure you personally hold on to all your receipts and warranty documents. In my experience the terms of the warranty verbally changed 3 times so make sure to get things in writing. A friend of mine had the misfortune of finding out Jackson's never filled the paperwork for his warranty and it took several months to resolve. With the above industry standard charges that Jackson's will hit you with, you would expect high quality service that they stand behind. I'd advise looking for help elsewhere.Edit - I find it very telling of Jackson's ethics that they deleted their response to my post asking for me to contact them to resolve the matter. Numerous contacts already were made and they do everything to not stand behind their work.

I got my car fixed and back on the road quickly and with no hassle. The staff at Jackson s are professional and friendly, down-to-earth people. Their prices are fair. I was expecting my car to be in the shop for at least a week and they turned it around to me in 48 hours!

So happy I discovered Jackson s! Not only did Josh get me in 2 hours after I called, but Kevin was great to work with and helpful to explain my problem, because whoever expects their horn to stop working? They had me fixed and ready to go quickly and efficiently!

While on in town on business in Eugene, my car gave a charging malfunction error. The car advice was pretty serious turn off vehicle and bring to the dealer . I was able to limp it over to Jackson s Complete Auto Care about 5:15 pm. The techs had gone home, but they got it all checked in for the next day. I had a call the next morning before 10:00 am that it was ready to go. They changed the alternator belt and tensioner. I felt like service was quick, they were honest and fair. Wonderful service. Ask to know your perception of any problem and report back. This is an excellent business. We are extremely satisfied.6/12/19- When my 2015 Honda failed to start, I was pretty sure that I was not out of gas. I had the car towed over the weekend. On Monday the techs spent hours tracing down the problem to a fuse. Although they were pretty booked with work, they were able to get me back on the road by Monday afternoon. Thanks!

My truck decided that it didn't want to start periodically for no rhyme or reason and after the frustration of trying to troubleshoot things myself I decided to call Jackson's Complete Auto Care and they had me back on the road by the next day. Jackson's staff where extremely professional and responsive, they addressed the issue I was having and made sure my vehicle was fully operational and working reliably. I won't hesitate to go back and see them in the future if needed and will recommend them with confidence.

Put wrong part ( cheap one also) on that husband had just replaced couple weeks before that. Ask them to install a Cam Sensor and he replaced the crank sensor. (He even wrote it down). Then said they were the same. Then called my husband a liar. We have the receipt for the part.Wanted $400-$1200 to fix air conditioning also, thankful we didn't let them work on it.

When my van developed a transmission issue, I had it into a transmission specialist who verified that the transmission itself was fine and that there might be a computer or harness issue. I brought it into Jackson's, they identified the issue within a half-day of me dropping it off (frayed connector in the wiring harness to the transmission) and had it repaired the day after the part they ordered came in. They also replaced a turn signal bulb and verified that we didn't have any leaking seals. I'm thoroughly satisfied by the skill and attitude of the people I worked with and will bring the van back the next time I need service.

While on my way home I started having car problems, it was almost 5 so I was worried I would get turned away. I called Jackson's auto because it was the closest mechanic to me and they told me to head over. I made it 2 more blocks and my car died... I called back and told them what happened, I was blocking traffic and no one was willing to help me push my car, I just kept getting honked at. Next thing I know a car full of mechanics from Jackson's pulls up and immediately gets my car out of the way! Bob was so helpful over the phone (I was pretty upset about the whole situation) he helped calm me down. They waited for me to get my car towed there and I was called the next day with a description of what went wrong with my car. They were very honest with me and very helpful!

Fast, Friendly and Professional..If your looking for a place that you can trust, Jackson's is the spot! Not only do I use them exclusively, but I send both my college age kids there for all their automotive needs. I have had nothing but great experiences since I started using Jackson. I feel safe sending my kids there that they will be treated like family. Can't say enough good things about this great shop. My vehicles (and family's vehicles) are always fixed right, on time, and very affordable.
