BEWARE OF THE NEW OWNERSHIP SINCE 2022.Brought my well maintained and dealership serviced 2015 BRZ in for a pre-dyno inspection and was sold on fixing the oil pan gasket.Less than 70 miles later my oil pickup tube clogged and wiped out my motor. I took it back to see what could be done.They gave me the option to tear it apart to determine fault but that I would be on the hook for labor if they didn t accept liability. I said to not do anything if it meant I would spend more money with them.Instead they pulled my motor anyway and cleaned it out destroying any evidence.I spent a month trying to patiently work out what they would be willing to do and they would deflect to owner/service/tech and never get back to me on a definitive answer.They eventually offered me a deal for $8500 replacement engine or that I could take it back with engine out of the car for no charge. Since I dropped the car off run and driving and requested it returned the same way (especially since I didn t approve any additional work) they charged me $850 to have my broken motor put back in I go through a lot of cars and have used many shops with no issues. No idea what is wrong with these guys but new FTW is as bad as it can possibly get.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Brought my Forester in their for leaking axle seals. They were replaced a year ago before I bought the car and hooked it up free labor under a warranty type deal. Also informed me on a bent oil pan and got that replaced as well. Guy at the desk was very nice and updated me on the car status multiple times throughout the time they had it. Also shout-out one of their techs Devon. He worked on my car did a great job. Also answered a bunch of my questions on how he did a couple things and my future plans for the car. Highly recommend for any ones Subaru needs

Here is my review, AS THE CUSTOMER. 2017 Subaru WRX. Short story is, my car showed up September, they had the motor in by December. My issue starts after that when they couldn't figure out a simple wastegate issue for over 3 months. (All they needed was to Preload the wastegate properly) I called and texted many times telling them it would be the wastegate. They often ignored my calls and texts. I requested to speak with Chris the tuner many times only for them to never call me back. In 6 months I got to text with him twice.My real issue was when I go to pick up the car I see they overcharged the original bill $1500. I didn't have my original receipt on me to show them what we agreed to so I was forced to pay to be able to take my car home (I was NOT happy) I have original receipts showing almost $1800 in UNAPPROVED labor and parts they never bothered to ask for approval on. Oregon public law states "A shop shall not charge for work done or parts supplied in excess of the estimate WITHOUT CONSENT of the customer" (ORS 746.292)We also found mall receipts with their workers name on it along with a brownie edible. Break in miles shouldn't be used to go run errands and buy drugs.They did a "750 mile break in" PLUS 2 separate extended break ins they charged for but when I picked up my car they only put 400 miles on it. That's barely half of the break in they promised.Also come to find out they swapped my $200 grimmspeed boost controller for an Ebay part worth $25 without even bothering to tell me. I had to find it myself.I draw the line when they decide to disrespect my girlfriend for leaving a review in my place. I find this beyond unprofessional and would NEVER recommend any one to come to this place. They are unresponsive, unorganized and worst of all lack any respect for their customers. They will take advantage of you and try to convince you they are in the right.

My boyfriend took his 2017 Subaru WRX to this shop for a new motor, clutch, bigger cams, & a bigger turbo installment. They estimated that after they recieved all the parts it would take about a week & a half for installment. They were running into issues with the turbo so they supposedly sent it back to the company to get it diagnosed & apparently the turbo was all good but they were still running into the same issues. My boyfriend gave them pointers on what the issue could be & they kept saying that they already tested everything. Flash forward 6 MONTHS they were STILL having the same issue. My boyfriend ended up discussing with someone who had the same issue with the same exact turbo & he told the shop exactly what the issue was & the shop told him that they just so happened to figure out the issue but it was gonna take more time to fix. So my boyfriend decided to just stop their work & pick the car up. So when we picked the car up the shop over charged him 1500$, did not complete the issue, swapped certain parts out without his permission, we have proof that they were joy riding in his subaru, we also found an edible in the car, & they have yet to give him his original parts back. They have neglected issues, ignored his texts & calls time & time again. My boyfriend fixed the issue with his turbo, it took him 4 hours to fix it.

Brought my car in for a new engine tune. Chris was extremely helpful and accommodating! i live about 4 hours away, Chris set me up with an appointment as i wanted my car tuned while i waited. When i arrived (45 min late... sorry) Chris was waiting and ready to get to work! Even skipping his lunch break to get me taken care of. I really appreciate the time and patience he had with me as i had numerous dumb questions that probably get asked all day every day. Chris even edited my current MAP for the engine breakin, all remote and free of charge! Unheard of! Chris and the whole FTW team came highly recommended from my mechanic and im so happy they lived up to and exceeded all my expectations. Car is now running fantastic! Hopefully ill never need the services again, but if i do, i know exactly who im going to!

Have been doing business with ftw tuning for a couple years now. The service has always been top notch. They re tuner Chris is vary knowledgeable and staff always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my cars leave running great! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get anything from an oil change to engine modifications or tuning. They are knowledgeable in both import and domestic repairs and tuning.

Got my Chevy all dialed in on the dyno for a cam, intake and header. Even found a few vacuum leaks with their smoke machine that I wouldn't have been able to find otherwise. Highly recommend to anybody looking for LS tuning. The guys at FTW Tuning have always been honest, patient, and fair with me and our dealings over the course of the customer tradesmen relationship. Even after making a couple terrible DIY attempts at fixing my own vehicle and making the problem a lot worse, they did a great job fixing me up and not making me feel bad about it. Great people over there, and even though it might be to their dismay, I will be bringing my problems to them for the foreseeable future.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Highly recommend! I was completely blown away at how they transformed my car. I had them install a few parts to my WRX and dyno tune with with the Cobb Accessport. The pricing was very fair, they completed the work in a timely manner and the car drove ran pheromonally, much better than the stock tune. These are my new go to guys for anything mechanical and performance wise. They even gave me a print out of my dyno before and after.Service: Auto engine tuning

So far my car has ran so much better! Great work. Employee's were friendly. The owner lent me a car to go get coffee in. It didn't cost as much as I was thinking for all the stuff I got!!!

I wanna give 5 but I dont have much experience with these guys but they sure know what they're doing and are friendly and willing to share knowledge. I haven't had time or the money to put gas back in my car but the issue I paid to get fix didn't quite get fixed and they told me to bring it back so they could try again and said they wouldn't charge since they already did. Couldn't ask for better customer service from mechanics and tuners.

I bought a car from Chris here at FTW Tuning, This guy has gone above and beyond helping me if I've had any issues with the car. The work is outstanding and done very quickly. Any time I send Chris a message, I usually get a reply back within a few minutes (Outstanding customer service). Chris even went out of his way after hours to come to my home to put a code scanner on my BMW when it wouldn't start. I would definitely recommend FTW Tuning to anyone who needs auto repair done.

This place tried to charge me $6800 for a $2900 job, and then after I had my car towed somewhere else and took a look they stole my spark plugs that I had just put in. This place has nothing but kids that don't really know what they're doing and they will steal whatever they think they can get away with. Ftw has been a great company to work with. My interactions with Chris has been nothing but pleasant. I live almost 3 hours away and was looking to purchase a car in Eugene. Chris was more than happy to help over look the car for me to assist with my purchase. This went a long ways for me and after purchasing the car, I decided to get my car tuned by ftw. This purchased landed on a Friday and decided to purchase an access port before I took the car home. Chris had already left the office but one of their employees was able to call Chris. Chris offered to come back to the office to take care of me. Wow! Great serviceMy car needed a water pump and timing belt and had an oil leak that needed to be fixed. I called Chris to make an appointment to get my car Dino tuned and perform the work. We knew it was going to be a long day so I left my house at 5am to get to their business just before they opened their doors. Chris and his team jumped on my car right away.While sitting in the lobby and waiting around. I was able to over hear some conversations Chris had with customers calling in for work that needed to be done. What I observed was a very honest and professional person and business approach. Chris gave great recommendations and even told clients they should get certain things done before they bring it to them because their shop isn t super familiar with that specific vehicle. Most shops would just take the business even if they were not experienced enough which could lead down a bad rabbit hole I decided to rent a car to drive around for the day and Chris offered to take me to the place. He is very considerate and has very good customer service. Upon returning towards the end of the day, Chris allowed one of his employees to follow me to drop off my rental and bring me back to the shop while he turned my car. Chris ended up staying late to ensure everything was done and did a great job with the tuning process. My car gained significant power!Unfortunately, a few days after having my car back I noticed some steam coming from my car and parked it. I had a coolant leak and wasn t exactly sure where it was coming from. I reached out to Chris and he was very responsive. Chris arranged a meeting with another shop near me for a shop he trust dearly. Chris also offered to pay for the work without me even having to ask for it!!Chris really stands behind his work and ensures his clients are being taken care of. My leak ended up being a hose clamp that was weak and wasn t holding proper tension. That has been fixed and my car is running great!I would highly recommend working with FTW Tuning.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have had a number of good experiences with the guys at FTW Tuning. They have gotten repairs done faster than expected and for less money! One of the shop guys even stayed late so my son could pick up his car after hours. I m not sure about the recent negative reviews. My experience with FTW has always been great, fast work, done correctly. Most recent experience is with my 07 sti that s a rat nest. Had to replace suspension, clutch fly wheel, rip out the old time bomb of an engine. This was sold as a well maintained car and Oregon. Either way through the whole process, I was sent pictures and was texted msgs. I know they get super busy so if I call and they don t return it that day I don t get upset. I will always bring my car here for anything including oil changes. Shop is dirty, parts and towels strewn all over the floor. I about fell on a brass fitting laying in the walk way. The guys there have no personality, or bothered to introduce themselves. Rather than ask me how to drive my vehicle onto the dyno, they crashed through my gears like it was okay. Not the place to go for older cars, especially carbureted engines. Other then verifying my air/fuel ratio, nothing was changed. Old school plug chopping has brought me better results. If your tuning fuel injection, might be an okay place. But for my vehicles, they will not be brought here.

These guys are top notch. They know what they are doing and have no problem taking the time to share the knowledge. Trust me when i say they will help you in any way possible. When it comes to getting you and your Subaru back on the road. Their level of customer service and dedication to excellence is a rare thing to find in a business today.

My brother in law has been waiting for over 3 years for an update on his Evo and NEVER get an update. The last time we spoke with them they said it would be about a week or two and we have been calling and phone just rings. My brother calls and his calls go straight to VM.For being a business, this has been the most unpleasant experience and its NOT even my car. I've been trying to help them get answers but clearly don't care about their customers!Because we've been calling so much, they have harassed us by telling us they'll throw the car out!

Was recommended FTW from many folks in the Subaru Owners Club and now i know why. Professional, great work, and honest. Out of the 4 places i called for my repair work they had the best price and didn't upsell. My 06 STi is stock sans catback exhaust and so I also went with a stage 1 open source tune and wow... what a difference! Like a whole new car and runs smoother than ever. Highly recommended and will be coming back for any workit needs from now on.

Finally an automotive shop that you don't feel swindled by. They do fantastic work and take all projects. They do what i ask without trying to get me to do a bunch of things unrelated to my current needs. If you want want to start modifying your car to make more horsepower, there is no better shop. Plus they back up their claims on their dyno! They have worked on 3 of my vehicles and i've been extremely happy with each visit. It's a one stop shop for sure. Keep it up guys and thank you for treating me and my babies (cars) so well!

I spoke with Andy on the phone about tuning my 2013 Impreza sport with the fb20 engine. He was not sure if he could tune my car, but he stayed with me on the phone while he actually checked his tuning program. He found that he could tune a lot of stuff and was able to setup a Saturday appointment for me. I was amazed that they were opened on Saturdays since I work the same hours as other shops in this area do.I arrived to my Saturday appointment and Andy greeted me as soon as I walked into the door. This guy was easy to talk to, very friendly, and full of Subaru knowledge. He also didn't judge me for not having a WRX or STI lol. He even looked up mods and parts fitment for my car before my appointment without me asking (how cool is that!). He allowed me to watch my pre-tune dyno run and then he educated me on why my car was running bad and how all my mods affected my a/f ratio and drive-ability. This guy has so much knowledge and is fun to talk to, that I could easily spend all day picking his brain, but I really needed to leave so he can tune my car lol.I was able to walk through their shop (accompanied by Andy) and I was amazed with how they run it and the amount of 300+hp engines they were building. It was like I was walking through a tuner magazine. They even have racks were they keep parts organized for each of their customers cars. They really take their job seriously and pride themselves as a place for quality work and it shows!My tuning only took him about an hour or maybe a little more, but he was able to squeeze about 15whp out of my non-turbo impreza. With a baseline of 90whp (140 engine hp) stock, after my mods I had 119whp and after tune I had 134whp!!! Doesn't seem like much, but for a non turbo with bolt-on mods (SR intake, UEL header, catback exhaust, perrin pully's), 44whp from stock is huge!!! Now my car feels like a different car in a good way. It feels strong throughout the RPM's!On a side note: I sent my in-laws over to get a quote for major engine rebuild on their old subie. This place undercut Kendal Subaru dealership buy ~$700 without letting them know that we were price comparing with other shops.

All around good people. I recently purchased what I like to call my "goer, not shower" 2002 WRX STi body with an 04 JDM WRX STi wagon build that has been sitting for a few years. Not only did they stay open after hours to complete the job (working around my busy schedule), they had arranged a pick up for me when the work was complete.During another visit, I was looking for a headlight clamp that holds the bulb in and they brought a few out that may work with me and were willing to give them to me free of charge. This, in my opinion, shows the integrity of this company and their employees.They've earned a lifetime customer for my experience.

Amazing employees, great work. Andy is really cool and dedicated a lot of time tuning my car and getting it up to speed. Still some small bugs that need worked out. But I'm sure nothing FTW won't have a issue fixing.

towed my sti to these guys after backyard mechanic did a terrible job on getting it running and they have awesome customer service and are working with me on getting my car back up and going, and go above and beyond what they should have to do, even trying to figure out how to get my car back together, because i kind of brought my engine to them in piecesUpdate: got my car back from them and already went through the break in and pro tune, my Sti has never felt more solid and planted on the ground, everything is running perfect, they completely rebuilt the block and from personal experience they do an amazing job, plus work with you to help you out to meet your goals. Will be coming to them for any issues regarding my car
