OMG im so sorry...yes...wrong transmission shop in oregon...please forgive me....judging by your response, you seem like a reputable company...if i need anything else, i will order from you...its the least i can do...again, my appologies.

They were more expensive than the original quote. It took much longer than what they said it would take. And they suggested that I get a part replaced, because it was going to fail soon. After seeing the part that needed to be replaced, I wouldn't of paid the extra 600.00. The part looked fine, but by that time it was too late. They were able to get my vehicle in pretty fast compared to all the other shops in town. I would use them again, but before agreeing to have a part replaced, go look at it first and make your own judgment.

So awesome! If you are looking for honest, hard working people, come to this shop! I was having so much bad luck in terms of trying to find someone to work on my truck and replace my transmission until I called this place! They got me in quick, did the work, and were nice and helpful the entire time! I would recommend this business to anyone in the area looking for transmission work! Such a great company. This place was great, lots of work needed to be done. My transfer case on my 2003 silverado had a leak the previous owner did not tell me about and was missed during inspection. Oregon transmission got it fixed in a day. They also helped over the phone with some other transmission issues and estimates. They won't over sell and they do a thorough job.Service: Transmission

OTS tried to rip me off, I would not ever take a vehicle to them again. I took my pick up truck to them for an estimate and what they thought the problem was with my transmission. After they had it for 24 hours I went back in to get their estimate and what they thought needed to happen. They told me I would be lucky if my transmission held out for three days and wanted to charge me $1700 to rebuild it. I believed their estimate of the problem and the cost were extreme. This caused me concern something didn t seem right. I bought this vehicle brand new, and they were the only ones to ever get their hands on the transmission, I took it home and crawled underneath. I was able to see traces where they removed the transmission oil pan. I dropped the transmission oil pan and found that they had slid the pick up tube down to where it was ready to fall out, The rubber retaining O-ring, that normally sits an inch up into the hole now was barely in the edge of the hole, normal driving would ve let it drop and lose vacuum, If this would ve happened the transmission Would immediately stop working, One hard bump crossing a railroad track could ve caused the pick up tube to drop, had that happen it would've caused the transmission to Immediately stop working. I pushed the pick up tube back into place, replace the oil pan gasket put the fluid back in (they attempted to sabotage my transmission and expedite the breakdown) I went back to OTS I told them what I had done and found. I told him I had contacted the Better Business Bureau about what they had done, they immediately started cussing me out and told me to get off their property. I took the vehicle to a different transmission shop they changed out the shifter Location sensor, It cost $140. and there has not been a problem with the transmission since . That was seven years ago. The reason why I'm posting this now is because I seen an ad on TV for them trying to get people to come to them for the repairs of their transmission. All I could say is buyer beware I would not go to them for any repairs. This all took place several years ago, but I see they have not changed

We had them do a transmission for us and have been having nothing but problems. Just took back in for 5th time after a vaccuum line fell off, leak in the transmission, and a new vibration that they say has nothing to do with the transmission but they are the only ones who has touched it so....Tried to get a reimbursement for the gas and lost wages this has caused and the manager's response was "Customers inconvenience me and I don't charge them". Really?! Wow! Just wow! Wouldn't recommend or go back but it will void our warranty if we have anyone else work on it. UGGGService: Transmission

Mark was very nice. Went above and beyond to make sure everything was covered under warranty. They did a great job on my Tahoe, and it works beautifully now. Kept in contact to keep me updated on how everything was going, and even called me before he did anything to make sure I wanted it done. A lot of shops wont do that. They just do the work and then give you the bill. Loyal customer for life. Thanks.

After another place tried to rip me off, charging $4,500 for junkyard transmission ( not including labor), I called OTS and they were able to do a complete rebuild with a 5 year warranty for about $3,500, including labor. There was one coolant problem that they forgot to address, and when I asked about it, they did the repair free of charge, including the expensive hoses. It's been one year and I can't thank them enough! Awesome work, awesome rates.

These guys are great, stand by their warranties, I have had problems at other local shops and won't go anywhere else but these guys. They gave me an unbeatable price and are fixing the transmission to my old F250 now. They use the best quality products. Matt says thanks for standing by that warranty!

The received my transmission from another company and squeezed out car in to have the transmission checked and for my car back within 4 days! Everything runs so much better. And have not had any problems with my car since. If I have any problems definitely will be going back to them! Simply the best service I have received at a mechanical shop ever. The transmission on my Chevy blazer blew and I rang and spoke to these guys about my options. Guy spoke to me for around 20-30 minutes a few times and explained everything to me. In the end, I spent $2200 on a new vehicle rather than a repaired transmission. However, I wanted to give them some business as they were so helpful and went down there as my new (used) vehicle was having problems engaging 4WD. Again, they told me exactly what was wrong and how to fix it, it was the switch which was a 20 minute repair. Simply outstanding service, honest and helpful. So many people are out to make a cheap buck, these guys aren't and I would totally trust them if I needed any major repairs.

I was referred by a family member, and gave them a call. The quoted price was reasonable and came with a five year guarantee. Service was performed in a timely manner and everything works perfectly. Thanks to Oregon Transmission Service I was able to get my special gal Melissa Murray back on the road !

Worst experience by far. My car sat there for 6 days before we had to call them after not hearing from them for days, told us no new information and that they had done no work on our car. Second time we took it back after being informed it would take no more than 3-4 days... (Mind you this is all during thanksgiving and heading well into xmas that we haven't had a car) they had our car for 8 days. We get it back and to no surprise our "rebuilt" tranny isn't working at all like it's supposed to. Called and inforned them of the problem was promised a call back but of course hear not a peep. The owner made it a point to tell us to call back at 4.. An hour before he closed to see where our car stood and we call back only to be told the owner left! This place is soo unorganized and completely unprofessional. Nothing but a huge run around... DO NOT SPEND TIME OR MONEY HERE! Also... I only gave 1 star because google made me!! They don't even deserve that

they were unprofessional, the worked on my manual transmission because it was stuck in gear took it in they fixed it fast and cheap, a week later a bearing fails in the transmission. they did not inspect the transmission when they first had it apart so i took it back to them they tried charging 900 dollars for a bearing when i said no im not paying that they said they would do it for 200. 2 weeks later they call me saying they dont want to work on it so i lost money and my truck has been down causing a lot of problems getting to work

Does NOT do manual transmissions, and doesn't know anyone who does. Told me no shop would do what I was asking (change input shaft bearing) dispite the fact that I already have a half-dozen quotes from other shops. Not Knowledgeable!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

John is super efficient. He truly goes above and beyond what is expected to be sure your vehicle is safe. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It's the only transmission shop for my family.

I CHANGING MY REVIEW ... DO NOT GO HERE .... THEY KEEP MY CAR WITHOUT EVEN CALLING ME TO KEEP ME UPDATED .... THEY R NOT VERY GOOD !!!!! AND I HAD TO TAKE MY CAR BACK CUZ THE TRANS LIGHT CAME ON AFTER THEY FIXED IT AND HAD IT FOR ALMOST A WEEK AND NEVER HEARD ANYTHING UNTIL I CALLED THEY PLAN ON KEEPING MY CAR ? I DONT UNDERSTAND how hard it is to call someone about their car they spend thousands on Service: Transmission

Professional, experienced and fair. If you need service or repair on your transmission OTS should be your first stop.
