Great little shop! Not too expensive and willing to work with you. They re fast, convenient, and trustworthy. I was able to drop off my vehicle, have it diagnosed, had some brake work done, and picked up same day. They offer shuttle service, and the shop dogs are sweethearts. I ll definitely be going here again in the future to get work done.

What an awesome experience! Ryan and Kenny are super kind and professional. I was impressed the moment Ryan answered the phone. Kenny was the person who assisted me when I came in. He was very clear about everything, including prices, from the beginning. When it was time to leave, Ryan offered to give me a ride home. The car was done the same day. When they called to let me know, Ryan also offered to pick me up from my house to go pick up the car. To my surprise, Kenny and Ryan did all the work agreed upon and came in UNDER the estimate! Excellent service, served with kindness and a side of courtesy and charm. Would rate 10 stars if I could.

C&L has been working on our cars for over a decade. We have consistently seen great outcomes and the experience has always been top-notch. The staff is always courteous and takes the time to educate us, often showing us the broken part and explaining exactly how it failed. They do all of our scheduled maintenance and they always do an inspection, often finding small things that we hadn't noticed, which helps us catch things before they fail. We enthusiastically recommend C&L for your auto repair needs!

I've been entrusting my automotive maintenance/repair to C&L for almost 15 years & have always got the best service and the best support. Recently they did a $1300 repair in a half-day and under estimate! I would highly recommend them.

I recently had to have some work done on my car. C & L beat the price and also was able to fit my car in the next day. I am so happy with the shop. The work was done quickly and done right. I will be having them do all my work.

They tried to charge me over $250 to diagnose a code, had it in the shop twice and diagnosed nothing! I got them to give me a $50 in shop credit. When I brought my car back because the window was acting up they had my car again twice and again fixed nothing!! And tried to charge me!! Total rip offs and a waste of my time and $

This has been one of the best experiences I ve had with mechanics in Eugene. Everyone I ve dealt with has been truly professional and gone above and beyond. The owner literally drove with me for well over a half hour while the computer was plugged in to try our best to diagnose my issue. He then took the truck out back to have his mechanics look over the results and has done this all, free of charge. I had work done previously on my cv acxle, and since an issue popped up in the same area as that original issue, it they repaired wheel bearing for the cost of the part. Truly above and beyond service with kindness and respect. 100% recommended!!!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto engine diagnostic, Wheel alignment

Dan and the crew at C & L were very helpful when I experienced issues with my vehicle.They were very upfront with me about the repairs necessary and the different options available. It ended up that repairing my vehicle would cost much more than the vehicle was worth. I decided with Dan s help to look into purchasing a vehicle. Dan was very helpful in showing me vehicles that would fit my budget and credit limitations.I was able to secure a loan and get back to work in a few days.After purchase, the vehicle, which I purchased as-is, had a couple of necessary fixes and Dan could ve played hard ball about who was financially responsible. Instead, he replaced the compressor and a couple of other minor fixes at no cost to me. Matter of fact, Dan personally came and picked me up from my house once the repairs were completed.Being a somewhat recent Eugene transplant, I didn t yet have an auto repair shop I felt I could trust. I Went here after my regular mechanic closed shop. The people who work here are exceptional professionals and do a great job on all the work they have preformed on my pickup. C&L's staff are also very friendly and very helpful. The prices for repair are also very fair and affordable. I will keep bring all of my vehicles here from now on.

This review is certainly long overdue! I can truly say that I absolutely trust Ryan and his team with my SUV. I have only had really awesome experiences and they have done so much for me over the years. They have even gone to bat for me when the local dealership wasn t treating me well. Family oriented business. That goes out of their way to try to find the problem and correct any motorized. Issue you may be facing I know this from personal experience. Thank you, Steven. For always being so kind to me and extremely helpful. As a single parent to gifted disabled children, you always help keep my car safe, which keeps my children safe, and as a Busy Mom, Safety is Huge. You're always so polite and caring, polite, and caring. I have even referred my family & friends here. Yes, I highly recommend them!

I sincerely appreciate the service and honesty from this shop after the staff at Goodyear on 7th tried to convince me my car needed an additional $1800 in unnecessary repairs after buying new tires or else it would be unsafe to drive.. These guys will take care of you and make sure you get the service you deserve. I know I will be taking my Honda to C&L for all its maintenance and inspections in the future. Have been going to C&L for close to a decade now. Used to take the work truck to these kind folk for my boss at the time. These guys got us out of a lot of binds quickly and to satisfaction. I have since started taking my beloved/sentimental ford ranger to them when I have had issues that I simply can t diagnose. Each time they got right down to the issue and sorted it so my old truck lives to cruise another day. These are trustworthy people and shoot straight with their customers. I can t recommend them enough! The guys at this shop always had my best interest in mind. They explained everything very well and advised me on what my vehicle needed most and what was worth the time and money to fix.I ve taken my vehicle there multiple times for different repairs and services have always been satisfied with the results. All repairs have stood the test of time.Seriously I can t recommend them enough, honest friendly guys that do great work and aren t out to break your bank. My Accord seemed to be having trouble shifting through gears properly, and I'm glad I went to C&L instead of a transmission place because they figured out it was actually the engine having trouble at certain power levels. They got it running very nicely for a very reasonable price. C&L has been servicing my car for about 6 years now. Their prices are fair; they service the car in a timely fashion; they explain what they have done and why; they explain any problems they find that need to be addressed. Most importantly I trust them to do the job right at a fair price and to only do work that is needed. I highly recommend them.Service: Oil change

C&L Automotive was very helpful when I needed to get some work done on my vehicle. The staff were all friendly and were willing to drive me back to my house and pick me up so I did not have to wait for my vehicle all day. They had my vehicle back up and running the same day. This place is great! I get my oil changes and tire rotations done. They always remind me when it s getting close to get them done. They look over everything and always take time to explain things. The best part is they provide a ride service if you need to work or just have lots to do, they will drop you off at work/home/ wherever and come back and pick you up when the job is complete. I ve also had my breaks done with them. Love the friendliness and service they provide! Thanks for the spectacular service every time!Services: Tires, Brakes, Oil change

Had to make an appointment two weeks in advance. They had my vehicle for 4 days little to no communication on there end.I had to physically go in to get any information. Overall not a good place to go in my opinion. Won't be recommending anyone go there. BTW. Thx for charging me 130 dollars for a bs diagnosis. Live and learn.

I brought my truck here after the third time the dealership messed it up, and within 10 minutes they had pinpointed exactly what was wrong, and explained to me in detail why it was causing the symptoms. We had a slight oil leak and did not know where it was coming from, but the guys at C&L did a full inspection with pictures and a checklist and determined that the oil drain plug was not screwed on tightly the oil change I had at another place last week. They were detailed as to their findings and charged me a very fair minimal amount for the inspection. They are our new garage for both of our cars! Thank you Ron and the guys!

Super happy to find a mechanic I can depend on. I started using C and L last year when I had some maintenance needed on a car I was planning to sell and was very happy with that service. When I had some recent problems with a used car I purchased at a local dealer, they prioritized what was important and got it done in good time. (In hind sight, I should have had C and L look at it before I bought it.) I have to say that with each of my visits, I was pleasantly surprised with the total bill. They were very reasonable and explained the issues with the vehicles and how to resolve them in a way that was very clear. I highly recommend this business!

These folk are the exception. I've frequently had a bad time with automotive repair people; I'm incredibly skeptical and hesitant with anybody working on my car. Such a different experience at C + L than what I've had other places.Every time I've worked with them they've been honest and accommodating. I've had them explain, in simple terms, what's going on. I've had them convince me that certain work did not need to be done just yet, but to keep an eye on it. Phenomenal service every time I've been there.The prices are about what you'd expect from car repair, but the work you get for that price always seems to last longer than when I get work done other places. Excellent bang for your buck. I know that what they're charging is a reasonable price for the work being done.The crew at C + L feel like the neighborhood mechanics I had working on my car back in Montana. Honest about what needs to get done, charging a fair price for the parts and labor while keeping in mind what I can afford.Recommend them to anyone nervous about their mechanics.

I have had my car serviced by C and L Auto several times since 2017. Each and every time I have received excellent customer service including a prompt and comfortable shuttle service. On many occasions I received service that went far beyond excellent. Ryan went above and beyond to explain all the different options available to me as far as a what I needed to fix the problems with the transmission in my Scion. Unfortunately, even though the quotes were more than fair, each one of the options were far outside my budget. Ryan made special efforts to see what he could do to help. He reached out to his personal professional contacts in order to find someone who could possibly help. And he did it! And saved me over $1000 even though it meant someone else would be getting paid to do the repair.He didn't get paid to help me. There was nothing in it for him other than to offer kindness to a client. There were times that C and L could have taken advantage of me and my wallet. Instead, Ryan went out of his way to find the best possible option for me and to help soothe my worries. He spent his personal time trying to help me for no other reason than to simply help. C and L Auto will have my business for as long as I live in Eugene.If you have had a bad experience with car repairs take your car to C and L Auto! If you're worried about trustworthiness, take your car to C and L Auto! If you want quality professional expertise take your car to C and L Auto! You will not be sorry. You will be able to rest easy knowing they are the most honest, reliable, kind, and professional car repair shop in Eugene. And you'll probably save a lot of $ too! I cannot speak highly enough! FAIR, HONEST, RELIABLE, PHENOMENAL!!

It has taken me awhile to find an excellent, honest mechanic here in Eugene, but C & L is it. I have an older Outback from the east coast with a lot of salt damage/rust. As just one example of why I fully trust C&L, the power steering rack went out due to rust a few years back. They replaced it; that replacement part failed earlier than expected, and rather than charge me to have it replaced again (and it is an expensive part) they replaced it for free. Even though the part failing was no fault of their own. A year later, steering fluid was leaking due to an unrelated rust issue in one of the lines. They fixed this for free too, even though it had nothing to due with their original repair; since it was related to the power steering system, they fixed it under their warranty, for free. I'm sure they can't do this all the time or they'd go out of business, but they have my confidence and business as a result.
