Why didn t I just take it to these guys in the first place. The two places I took my Ford explore to before B&G were. happy to spend my money, but did not fix the problem. B&G charged me an extremely fair price, and it feels like a brand new car. Confidence is hard to come by these days.Thank you Scott for taking care of my car.

My family and I have been taking our cars to B&G Automotive for many years. I trust them to service my car regularly and to advise me of other needed repairs.Donovan is an excellent service advisor. In the instances where I've had a problem his diagnosis has been correct. This shop has my full confidence and has serviced all 4 of my vehicles. super bummed with my experience this past month. I've been a longtime (541customs) B&G customer for repairs, oil changes and pre-purchase inspections. they were recently purchased by 541customs which I was NOT aware of until the difference in service was apparent. took my Toyota in there for a full tuneup the end of June ($800) a week later my vehicle broke down on the way to southern Oregon. $280 tow and $140 motel. took my car into the shop 7/11 after their staff stated "it's a great vehicle, don't get rid of it and that its worth fixing" they stated the timing belt guide went bad and gave me a quote of $1800. Three weeks later 7/29 after being misdiagnosed they stated it's actually the 3rd cylinder that shot and my car needs a new motor quoting me $4000+ . Mind you they left a tool hanging inside on my motor back during the tune up and this is a well maintained Toyota. I said NO, came and picked up my car that still had the SAME knocking sound it did when it broke down. my car was louder and broke down twice as I drove it down the road. The timing was off (which they claimed to fix for $1800 dollars) $3000 later, I have a broke down Camry.... still... proceed with caution. this is NOT B&G auto anymore... Had multiple issues with our Jeep over the years, Cavey and his guys always do great honest work for a fair price and have fixed any problems that have popped up after work has been done. Can t recommend them, their customer service or quality of work enough. These are people you can trust.

I was very disappointed by the service I received from B&G Automotive this time around. They said they would call me to keep me updated on the progress of my vehicle, and on 3 separate times they never called me back. I was supposed to receive some information on where to take my car with one of the issues I had with it that they said they weren't able to fix, but they never sent or gave me that info. They were supposed to give me an estimate of how much the service I did receive was supposed to cost, but never did. I also asked if they could just "check" the tightness of 2 bolts on a starter I had found was loose, thinking they would just do it, but they ended up charging me over $65 for this, that only took less than 10 minutes (charged me for a 1/2 hour of shop time!). And I had to wait there for over 3 hours for them to do this, seemingly small job! Just about every interaction I had with them this last time was less than even adequate. The old owners of the business never treated me like these guys did now, just trying to make as much money as was possible, and only corrected ONE issue out of at least three I had mentioned to them! I'll be looking for another repair shop yet again! Very disappointing that most repair shops operate this way nowadays. It's a sad commentary on life in the post-pandemic age!

My car had barely been driven since the beginning of covid due to working from home. We had to have it towed to B&G and from the first moment they took it, they kept us up to date on the estimated cost, time line, and were extremely friendly the whole time. They knew exactly how to deal with some suprises along the way in a quick and efficient manner. My little Jetta now runs beautifully and I'm very comfortable every time I take it out. Very pleased!!

I have taken my card to this facility for years. On this day, I needed the oil changed. They had the specific oil filter ready upon my arrival. I appreciated the check ins while I waited. My dog was able to accompany me in the waiting room.On the other hand, I waited two hours for an oil change. I brought the car in at 8am. The waiting room smelled of car fluids and the noise from the street was loud. I missed being able to be driven back home while I waited for the service to be completed.Because of the years of trust built up, I would use this facility again.Service: General repairs & maintenance

B and G Auto was recommended as a good shop for my daughter. I was looking for a place that would treat my child like I would as a Dad. Change the oil and check/change all filters and fluids up to 100 dollars and call me on any issues above that. I wanted the DAD experience. Talked to "G" and he said his daughter went to Corvallis and he understood. That was almost 20 years ago and they are still good . "G" has retired but service is still very good.

I brought my car in for rear brakes turned out didn't need them. The big thing is they were honest and told me. They could've said they did the job charged me and i probably wouldn't have known. So BIG KOODO'S FOR BEING A HONEST SHOP!!!! I wouldn't expect them to be dishonest but now i know they are NOT!!!! BIG THANKS GUYS!!!!!

This is a great find! I was broken down on the side of the road, called a friend and they recommended B & G! I was new to Eugene and did not have a go to mechanic. I DO NOW!!!! Friendly and GREAT service. They are very honest and the car was fixed earlier than they said even though their schedule was full! 541 customs is an extremely professional and reasonably priced shop. They quickly diagnosed the problem on my truck, put me on the schedule and had my truck repaired within the timeline they specified. Their price was extremely reasonable and I am very happy with the work they did. As a business owner (general contractor) I highly recommend the shop!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am thrilled with my experience at 541 Customs & Auto Repair. The staff is awesome! Everyone is so friendly, funny and professional. Their work is exceptional. They beat competitor pricing every time, too! I don t take my cars anywhere else. I trust the crew at 541. As a mother of several busy kiddos, I am so thankful I have a reliable and affordable mechanic that I can count on to keep my vehicles safe and in great working condition.

Finding 541 Customs and Automotive Repair was something of a revelation. This place really is a hidden gem. The guys there were so friendly, communicative and genuinely interested in helping me understand the stuff I was asking questions about that I can honestly say that I've never felt more respected in the context of needing my car fixed. Not only were they skilled, professional and communicative, but they also have surprisingly affordable prices. Went in because engine light came on and codes at an auto parts shop said my Solenoid B was showing issues. The battery was weak too, but it only had a jump after battery failed to let me start car. I priced parts that I might need to fix shift solenoid B and transmission fluid as well as other parts, gaskets and filter, on weekend. On Monday I drove into B&G to get it worked on. I showed them codes from reading, and list of parts cost. Ready to have it worked on and to get battery as well. But B&G told me that they wanted to charge battery first...then take reading again. They told me that a low battery could in some cases result in wrong diagnostics. And to be sure that they will try that first.After 2.5 hrs I was told that battery was at 80% and reading showed no codes cleared engine light off.They saved me lots of money. I did go and replace battery but that's a heck of a lot better than replacing parts and labor costs.Not sure I would have encountered such honesty from a mechanic shop.Highly IMPRESSED and will always recommend them.

I will recommend this establishment until the day I die. I had freaky, unexpected car trouble that I needed fixed on the fly and they were so calm, accommodating and communicative. They got me in right away (right before closing, might I add. Amazing.) and by 8am the next day had the diagnosis and by 2:30 pm my vehicle was in tip top shape and ready to be picked up. Amazing customer service. Amazing mechanics. Amazing business.

I have been taking my 2011 Ford Focus to B&G since my Ford warranty expired. They have kept it running like new for years. Before that, I took another car and got the same excellent service. They are honest, fast and extremely helpful - EVERY SINGLE TIME.

I'm not usually a review writer, but I recently felt compelled to write a bad review after a horrible doctor's appointment, so I wanted to balance things out and write a good review for a place that I love. B&G was the first thing that came to mind. They're my favorite mechanic of all time. They're honest, fast, fairly priced, and just all around lovely to deal with. We always leave feeling great about the experience, and like we've been treated like human beings, by human beings. I would recommend them to anyone.

Maintain our fleet for 2 years now.. Fast, friendly and affordable. Took a work truck to them today that was randomly problematic. They were able to diagnose it today and they will have it repaired tomorrow. They NEVER fail to execute the job I send them. Thank you B&G crew!

Several years ago I had a Chevrolet with a persistent noise from the rear passenger side of the car. I'd had it at another shop that tried to isolate the problem to no avail. The B&G staff tackled it and finally found a failing strut. I drove that car for several more years.Recently I had a problem with my Buick that appeared to be brake-related from the sensors but the brakes worked. Again the staff at B&G tackled it, patiently testing and working with Buick before they identified a faulty wiring harness portion.They are reliable, very pleasant to work with, and committed to giving good service.

Will never take my car to another shop. This team is transparent, honest, thorough, and amazing. They tell you what Actually Needs to be fixed and what Doesn't. No other auto mechanic has EVER done that because they don't care about you. 541 Automotive CARES and it shows!! "Always choose a mechanic you can trust". How often have you heard that? But how do you know? One of the things you always worry about in a mechanic is whether or not you are getting a straight answer, or are you paying for things you don't need. Donovan and the rest of the staff have always been straight shooters. You can drop your car off at night, with a brief description of what is needed. They will cal you and get the whole scoop, then give you an accurate estimate of what is needed. I have always been happy with the results and the charges are reasonable. I have even brought in my own parts and they have happily used them. I have never felt like I am paying for something that I didn't need. B&G is the mechanic you can trust.

Nick was awesome. My car broke down and they drove down to help me, guided me to make sure my car made it to the shop and provided great service at the best price around town. Cannot recommend it enough. The customer service is top.

It was a horrible experience. I wasted my money. They were extremely slow, and did not really care. It was a lot of back and forth. It was an old car, but they shouldn't have promised to fix if they were not sure they would. I wouldn't recommend their service to anyone unless someone has a lot of money and time they are looking for ways to waste. These guys have been working hard to get my Tahoe back in order and they have done an amazing job. Its better now then when I first got it. They are just such down to earth guys who care about you and your vehicle. I trust them whole heartedly!
