Alex's garage is always consistent, does not skimp on keeping you updated, knowledgeable and reliable, with friendly staff to boot. Had to have my car towed from Hillsboro to here to get fixed after getting ripped off at MVP Volvo. Glad I did. Car is running the best it has since I got it a year ago. Highly recommended!

I love their transparency on their services wish more places were like this. Got my Jaguar XJL back on the road after the air suspension compressor failed. After the service was done Douglas got me under the estimated price which was great. Fair prices. Will come here again for servicing needs.

Calm, knowledgeable, and composed staff that offer a premium service. Their prices reflect that, but they value their reputation over a quick buck. In depth descriptions of everything they do with the car. Frequent communication. Reasonable compromises if it comes down to it. I was frustrated with the issues my car kept having but the staff was very understanding and had my car back on the road soon after. These guys went above and beyond for us! We had an issue with our VW van and they got parts and fixed us up the same day! And they were super busy already! Staff is very nice.. highly recommend!

Called to see if they could verify my audi a4 2.0 camshafts were timed right.... the guy on the phone didn't even have a clue about the very popular GERMAN 2.0 motor (which Volkswagen uses also) I called about. How do I trust a guy with my brand new motor if he doesn't know the simplicities behind them...smh YouTube helped 110% more then that!! Had high hopes for this place but wont even call back

I brought in an old Mercedes and to make a long story short; They did a perfect job and charged me less than they quoted me. On top of all that, they even helped with tips for doing some of my own repair work. I couldn't be happier.

We brought our Jetta in for an intermittent stalling and not starting problem. They were able to quickly find the problem and replace the sensor. I had a co-worker recommend this shop and I am sure glad he did. Eddy was very professional and easy to communicate with. Repair prices were in line and not excessive. If you have a mini cooper in Eugene this is the shop to take it to. Made additional recommendations but they were not pushy, didn't feel like I was jerked around. They simply took care of what was needed at this time. I highly recommend this shop, one of the best shop experiences I have had. First impressions are everything and they made a big one to me.

There are few good honest car repair businesses these days .I find an unbelievable amount dishonest and greedy .here at Alex's you'll find helpful cordial knowledgeable people who care about your needs . reasonable prices for a job well done makes them number one in my book.when calling to make an appointment it's usually a few days out till they can get you in once they do its takes a day to find the problem .they are prompt with returning the car in a timely manner.these guys are very cool friendly and know their stuff.5 stars for sure. Business located right off main road easily can be seen.parking not a problem.

I was on a road trip when I had some unexpected car trouble. The guys at Alex s Garage we re able to get me into their schedule right away and source the hard to find part needed to get me back on the road. I was a mechanic for 10 years, so I can be a tough customer when paying someone to work on my car. I couldn t be happier with the quality of their work and the price was very fair. I highly recommend this shop!Thanks for the fantastic service and for saving my vacation!

Great shop for European vehicles. So far they have worked on my 95 eurovan and my 2008 VW r32. Great communication and thoroughness. Would highly recommend for any euro car

I had Alex's Garage do some maintenance and repairs to my 2004 Mini Cooper S about three months ago and have been very happy with the work. Eddie (the service writer) was very good to work with as I had multiple issues with the car. They did a good job diagnosing those issues and Eddie explained what was needed in detail. Once we scheduled the work, they got it done on time and it came in on target for price. THey also returned my old parts for my inspection. These guys are passionate about German cars! I will have future repairs done at Alex's Garage.

I have been very impressed with the professionalism and accommodations made by Alex s staff. They solved a few minor issues in innovative ways. And did some great major work. Very understanding people. Their texting function when they are done with the diagnosis to explain the work required is great. You get to choose what they are to work on electronically (or you can call for a more detailed description to decide). They are definitely my go-to guys.

We went to Alex s Garage when our Q7 started making a loud knock. They replaced a very expensive part that did not stop the knock. We reported it to them immediately that it was not resolved, and when we had enough money to make another appointment we called and the lady said I can probably get you a break on the next install . We did not ask for this, and the next day the owner messaged us. They treated us as if we were trying to get something for free and all we wanted was our vehicle made a priority since the issue could be a risk to drive.Service: Engine repair

When I brought our van "Grace" to your shop, I reflected on how fun and reliable she used to be and that for the past 10 years or so, despite spending nearly $10k in repairs and upgrades, she just felt "sick". Your mechanics went over her with a fine-toothed comb and created a prioritized list of problems. They quickly repaired the higher priority problems I elected for service, using high quality parts and constant updates and the result for the cost is impressive. I'm happy to say she drives better than I thought possible. We don't drive a lot, but we've been opting to take Grace in our outings over our '17 Tundra and '13 Outback! We have made one longer trip to the Gorge with not so much as a hiccup. The leak that I had mentioned appears very slow, and I'll ask your people to look at it when we bring her in for her oil change. I look forward to continuing to "restore" Grace with more repairs at your garage as well as some DIY work. At this time, we couldn't be happier. Thank you!

It's not often that I leave awesome reviews. Great guys, great work. HIGHLY recommended. Best prices in town to work on German imports and I'm sure round the horn. Andy was very respectful and made sure that I felt confident and understood everything before I left.

They are the absolute most up front and honest, as well as dedicated mechanics in the Eugene Area. I took my Audi in for a rare problem that took a lot of trial and error to diagnose, and their entire team dedicated so much time and additional effort to make sure it would be fixed and properly treated. Absolutely recommend them to anyone. Special thanks to Edie for constantly checking in and updating me through the process as well!!

I was brand new in Eugene, just moved from Florida, and had a noise under the hood of my 1991 350SDL Mercedes during my trip from FL to Eugene. I googled Alex's Garage while in Texas, and his reviews were outstanding. I brought my car in the 1st day in town, on a Monday, and Alex had a new alternator in the car Tuesday! Very nice guy and glad to find a mechanic who can work on these old Mercedes! It was a concern moving to start with finding a Mercedes mechanic as good as the one I left, let alone, having to find a new one emergent, but Alex's Garage is all the reviews say it is.

Alex is extremely helpful and conscientious. I would recommend him to anyone with a BMW with the following caveat: He is a one man shop, he'll do the job or tell you why he can't if he can't. Being a one-man shop he can sometimes get backed-up. If you are expecting a "dealership experience" in your mechanic go elsewhere; if you are happy with a trustworthy grease monkey (meant in the best possible way), Alex will not disappoint.

These guys are great. They will not charge me more than they say they will. When I took my beloved Boxster in with a confusing problem and they couldn't diagnose it in the first hour, they called me to ask if I would approve another hour for diagnostics. After they got it diagnosed, I decided to make the repair myself to save a buck and they were completely fine with that. Another time, after I approved a repair, they found the part for $100 cheaper from a different supplier and passed on the savings to me.When you buy a German car you know maintenance is going to be more of a pain. The guys at Alex's will bend over backwards for you to make your life easier!

Ok first I wanna say thank you to Alex s garage for an absolutely awesome job on my daughters car! I had called around to price a few jobs that needed to be done...one place never even called me back and the other one was almost double to the price that Eddie, the awesome worker had told me. I have been in this town for over 20 years and by far this was THE BEST PLACE IVE BEEN FOR AUTO REPAIR!! The BEST. I just can t say enough how great they treated us and how well they explained everything..they go way above and beyond of what shops regularly do..they even showed my daughter, who is a first time driver at sixteen, how to check her oil and other fluids that are super important to know..wow I m just super impressed and trust me, I will be telling anyone and everyone I know where to go!!!! Thank you Alex garage and their very kind workers!!!Aloha, Sunny and Tailer!!!!

I went to Alex's even though I don't have a German car. They were recommended to me by a friend who has a bunch of VWs, after I had been to Wayne's and they told me they couldn't repair my sunroof drainage tube leak. They said I'd have to go to the dealership or an upholstery shop. Untrue! Alex's took a look at my car and gave me an estimate while I waited. After I dropped it off for the repair, they kept me apprised of exactly what they were doing and how much labor would be, and even stayed under their original quote. All the guys at Alex's are really friendly and I never felt like they were going to overcharge me or try to sell me on additional repairs. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a German car!

This place is great. If you have a German car... go here ESPECIALLY instead of the BMW dealership. Alex's Garage has saved me thousands of dollars in bogus recommendations and all of my cars are in good hands.

I went to Alex's Garage last weekend because I'd finally had it with a rattling noise in my car's door that had been going on for about 5 years. I'd brought my car--a Toyota Corolla--to the Toyota dealership TWICE in the past, and each time they said they either fixed the issue or couldn't reproduce it.I brought my car to Alex, and in record time he was not only able to locate the source of the issue, he fixed it! He even fit the work in last-minute as I was headed out of town the following day. Alex may be a German car specialist, but believe me when I say this guy just knows cars in general inside & out. He was smart, polite, efficient, and I would absolutely use his services in the future.

These guys are aweaome! Eddie at the front desk is super nice and helps you figure out exactly what's going on. The work is of the finest quality!My wife and I were just passing through but I'd be willing to move to Eugene just to get my VW worked on at Alex's Garage.
