My car started spilling oil during middle of driving and got dangerously low. It drained the oil tank where I stopped my car before it got towed home. Was not drivable. Nothing was visible from the top of the engine. I called a mobile mechanic, he couldn t identify the issue. I thought it was pretty bad and it was going to cost me a lot. Few days later with oil still leaking at my driveway. I thought the best action was go to dealer service in the city, found out they were expensive and after some insurance calls and internal swearing, due to distance, tow to dealer was going to be extra. I decided to give a closer auto shop a try. I called a shop I found in Sandy and got a message machine . Frustrating as well. Finally decided to try SB auto. I got Steven on the line, explained my situation. I live pretty close to the shop, To my surprise, Steven offered to take a look at vehicle at my residence. He came more prepared than previous mechanic with tools for under the car, inspected from the bottom, added some oil and turned on the car, immediately identified the oil leak source issue. I got my car towed to his shop immediately. He spent the rest of the day on my vehicle. Once, he was done, he surprised me again. Repair bill was amazingly affordable, almost made me skeptical. I also needed a driver to help bring the car back, it was end of the day he was kind enough to help drive it back to my home. Phenomenal job and service, really helped me out when things got difficult for me. I rarely leave these reviews but a fantastic affordable auto shop with a mechanic doing things beyond normal is a pleasant surprise. Highly recommend SB auto for car service.

I had pulsation and overheating on my front brakes. The owner quickly diagnosed the problem as warped rotors and my calipers were not fully releasing. He had me back on the road in a little over 2 hours and at a cost no one else could come close to. Great job!

I have not had any work at this shop, but rate them 5 anyway. I had a transmission fault service now notification as I was driving home. I pulled over immediately and called Ford, who had replaced my brakes 2 weeks ago for $1200, and didn't really answer my questions. I called another shop in town who wasn't taking on new clients. I called Kim's on a whim. Even thought it was 25min before they closed and they answered my questions and offered for me to head down to them, as I was about a mile away. They knew I was not likely going to get work done with them (they don't fix transmissions, only replace) but took the time to push my car into the bay, check the faults, referred me to a mechanic that they have used themselves and let me leave my car on their property so it could be towed in the morning.I will think of them first for any future repairs.

Excellent Service. Our work truck battery connection was malfunctioning and Kim knew exactly how to fix it and get us back in business. Very quick too!
