Awesome service! Friendly drivers with useful information. They showed up before the time frame I had assumed it would take them. The driver was professional and friendly and couldn't had done a better more efficient job with my vehicle. I have heard stories of drivers doing more damage then the reason they came to help you on your vehicle but that was not the case for me. The driver was not rough or it appeared that he treated it as it was his own. I will defiantly be recommending Clackamas River Tow to others. You won't be disappointed.

Skyler showed up after hours to my disabled vehicle and was professional and respectful from the start. He worked quickly to get my vehicle onto his truck and got me back home about an hour away. I accidentally looked myself out of my car at 3am. I called AAA at about 3:30am. With in 10 minutes of placing my call with AAA, I received a call from Skyler with Clackamas River Towing & Auto Salvage. He explained to me he was in Estacada finishing up a job out there. He would be in Mulino as soon as he could. It is now 4:39am. My car is unlocked and I'm set to go.Skyler was the most polite gentleman. Was very gental on the car. I had gotten my car high centered on a drain pipe when I pulled off the road. No damage to the vehicle, and the vehicle was drivable.I hiked the approximate three miles to Timothy Lake so I could get cell reception.I called them and told them I was stuck approximately three miles west of Timothy lake and would be waiting at the Timothy Lake Dam. Timothy Lake Dam is on the southwest side of the lake.I got a phone call from the driver, Kyle, and he told me he was in Rhododendron about 30 minutes away. I was confused at this because their shop is located in Estacada. I was curious why this route to Timothy lake was chosen. The tow vehicle arrived about 25 minutes after he called.Kyle was great! He picked me up and drove me to where my vehicle was stuck. He spent a few minutes looking over the vehicle, how the vehicle was stuck, and gave me a description of how he was going to remove my vehicle from the drain which I found reasonable. He spent about 5 minutes getting the vehicle in position, hooking up the winch cable, and pulling my vehicle off the drain. I was overjoyed! Thanks Kyle, you're a beast!It took longer to fill out the paperwork than to winch my car off the drain. He said I was being billed by the mile which explains why they chose to drive the longest way around the north side of Timothy lake, around the east side, down to the south side, and over to the southwest area. You can google directions for yourself from their shop to where I was located. It's about 45 miles on highway 224, or 65 miles taking highway 26.Highway 224 was newly paved less than a month ago, and the road to Timothy Lake is only closed during the winter or during construction; neither of those situations existed on 7/13/2017. So safety is not an excuse.I did call after I was safe and told them I was ok and that I was very happy with how the driver took care of the work. I also asked if the price could be reduced since the route taken was not the most direct. The dispatcher said they would talk to the owner. The dispatcher called me back on 7/14/17 and refunded me $75 of the $356 original fee. They agreed that it was not the most direct route.A business that actually considers it's customers is a business that will get repeat customers. Thanks for seeing my side, Clackamas River Towing.Kyle gets 5 stars as well.

They stole my Front plate. The guy pulled up I had hit a tree my car was already pulled out from the tree thanks to a nice gentleman in a huge truck my license plate clearly was bolted in on the front bumper which was still attached. He left the bolts and the cover at the scene for my front plate. He than threw my front bumper in my back seat. Left the cover for my plate at the scene if he had left it on which is stillWould have clearly stayed on even if he threw it in the back seat. I would still have my front plate. Not have to pay an extra 130 dollars because I paid 330 for my plates through a dealership. I would not have to report them stolen to police and clearly you guys just wasted my time and money. Never ever going through them again ever I would never recommend this company to anybody. Horrible people. Appalled by their actions. And if I could I d give them 0 stars!!!!!!!!

Got towed by Ryan when both my wheel bearings finally gave. Only had to wait about 30 minutes. I think people here complaining about cost just don't understand how tow prices work. If you have AAA, which i did, it is pretty damn cheap. Got towed from basically Rhody to down town Portland for less than 100$, Just cover yourself through insurance like an adult. Other than that, safe driver and safe tow.

Kyle came and got me into my car when I locked my keys inside while on vacation. I was so impressed with the service! The woman who took my call was so kind and understanding, the service was prompt even though I was far from Estacada, and Kyle did a great job quickly. Awesome experience!

My friend rolled his truck and AAA sent Clackamas River Towing to recover it. They arrived quick despite the rural area. The driver was compassionate to the situation and got us on our way to continue our camping trip! Thank you to everybody there!!

This is a long over due. 2 years ago, I drove up Lost Lake mountain without chains on icy, snowy road, my car got stuck in the snow. No service, no human being around, but somehow, I encountered hikers who were on the way down the mountain called towing service for me when they got to the area where there was cellular service. "Ryan" showed up and saved me and my car. I thought I was going to die alone cold in the mountain.Sorry for late review and I thank you forever Ryan!Service: Car towing

We just got towed from halfway up the mountain on the Sunday night of Memorial wknd. When I asked for a ballpark amount Amanda did so, then broke down the costs so we knew why. It took the operator about an hour to reach us, his name was Jason, and he was fast, adept, friendly and professional.No one LIKES to have to be towed, and I appreciated Amanda's calm demeanor while taking my information. It wasn't cheap, but it wasn't robbery either. Given that it was after hours AND a holiday I felt the cost was fair. Their professionalism throughout the experience really helped smooth the situation. Thank you!

My daughter slid off the side of the road into a big ole bush of blackberries. I called CRT and Tammy told me should could have someone meet me at their shop in 30 min. Tammy was very professional and kind and then I left with Bo to hunt down the car (wasn't 100% sure where it was). Bo was so great, he was a great conversationalist and very funny. He also went above and beyond when we realized my daughter had the keys and teased her which I thoroughly enjoyed. I would wholeheartedly recommend Clackamas River Towing. Thanks guys!!

CRT is the only company I will hire for myself to tow/recover my vehicles. My elderly father and disabled mother also have AAA and CRT is the one we trust to accommodate and be patient with my mothers specific needs. The drivers are also very skilled at their jobs and tactics for instance my lifted pickup truck lost a tire and was only sitting on 3 and the ground which the driver managed to lift my truck up place a block under the axle and successfully load and unload my chevy without the axle ever touching the ground, amazing work!Services: Special vehicle towing, Long distance hauling

Wow these guys are a bunch of cons. Called to find out how much a tow for 18 miles was. They asked who my insurance company was, and when I told them they assured me no questions asked it would be fully covered. Well a month later I get a bill for over $400 that they are demanding payment immediately for it or else I will get sent to collections. Fyi its $35 just for them to answer the phone for you! They call it a dispatch fee. To your response. I've already been in contact with your manager and I've chosen the collection route instead of getting ripped off!

Had these guys sent out through a AAA call. Justin B. got right to getting me out of a stupid spot. Definitely expected to get made fun of, but his customer service was so good and understanding. These guys are very skilled, Justin assessed the situation in 2 minutes and had me out in no time! Class act. Definitely recommend Clackamas River Towing!

I had a tire fall off on i205. ICI all around no one was able to come get me due to my location. Called Clackamas river towing they came out all the way from estacada and was there in a very short time. Guy was fast and got me home and helped me get my jeep on blocks at my house. I would recommend them again. And I still am.

Mike and a fellow co worker responded to my AAA towing call. My lower ball joint had stripped and popped out causing my car to be stuck in the middle of the road. After a little they were there and extremely careful and precise when it came to safely towing my car home. They took there time and relized their truck wasnt safe for my lowered car so they called in another truck. All 3 guys from clackamas river towing were friendly and the best crew ive ever had the pleasure of towing my car. Hands down respect for them. Thanks guys

My car blew up on the way to Meadows at skibowl. Called aaa and they sent clackamas river towing. Despite it being a super cold icy morning on highway 26, gallivan my driver got up here on chains within an hour. Getting my car on the truck and loaded up was as easy as signing my name. Very painless and professional. I see why aaa uses these guys in this area. Theyre awesome.

My pickup broke down in parking lot at Timberline Ski area. Justin was very helpful and knowledgeable. He crawled under truck in bitter cold and strong winds to disable the transmission and even diagnosed the problem! Fast, friendly service. Very helpful.

I witnessed my friend use the company through AAA and it was like a horror story in real life. Between picking up the car from the location and my friend reaching the destination to claim it, they defiled her vehicle with bodily fluids and totaled it without fear of repercussions because of their contract with AAA. The working theory is that they disapproved of the location she was in so waited until she couldnt stop them to vandalize and violate her belongings.

They came to my house, picked me up, went to get my track and with Grace and finesse got it out of where it was at and got it to where it could be fixed. Thank you Clackamas River Towing the man that helped me was not only friendly but kind. And I will be using Clackamas River Towing again. You can count on it!

My girl friends vehicle had been smashed up against a tree when these guys were putting the car on the back of the truck. Called the boss and proceeded to call my girl friend names, not even letting her explain herself when they were in the wrong. Basically said they were not going to pay for the damage that they did. Unprofessional and there work sucks!

On Sept 17 our car broke down on US 26 at Government Camp at about 12:30 am. DJ got out of bed in Portland to answer the call. When jumpstarting the car didn't work, he pursued the problem and discovered that a wire connecting the ignition to the starter had become disconnected. He reconnected it in a short time---under less than ideal conditions---and got us on our way in good shape. The fact that he was an ASE-certified mechanic and not just trained in jumpstarting and/or towing vehicles was the key to his being able to resolve our problem. Thank you, DJ....

Best tow experience! I was going thew my verizon phone road side assistance and i was told that it was going to be 70 min and before i was off the phone with verizon, clackamas river towing was on the other line tell me it would be less then 30 mins.. they showed up in 20 min. Best customer service, friendly and would recommend to everyone!

I called Don Wilhite (owner) these guys went out of their way to help, then gave me a great deal on the tow. I would recommend you them before calling AAA or anyone else. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Review of area Estacada business Clackamas River Towing:If your response regarding a recent Google business review says anything about your character and how this business is ran, one could imagine why my friend and I are pursuing our complaints in a more formal way. Your response on the review, "Complaining on google won't solve anything" (in all caps), was hostile and provoking. This does not represent well in our community nor does it provide any viable lead to any type of solution.We all need to blast your illegal activities on many review forums for the community to see and look out for. Our attempts at working on a solution with you was followed by even more hostility and bullying.

Would not recommend a towing company that in spite of being contracted through AAA and representing them, would have a rogue driver total a person's car because they don't have the same political beliefs. Disgusting.
