I was excited to stay here for New Year's. Sadly, the cons started to outweigh the pros quickly. We paid extra for a nicer suite with a jacuzzi tub, and multiple dials were broken off. The fan in the room did not work, the knob for the thermostat did not seem to fit or correlate to the numbers, and the shower head was very low on the wall. We stayed for two nights, and when housekeeping turned over the room, they only removed half of the used towels and changed one garbage. They did not replace the toilet paper roll, and there was no extra in the room, so we called the front desk and nicely asked one be run down to us and were told we could go up and get on. The location is good, price is decent, and I felt safe, but there are many negatives.

Quick and helpful check, in good room, great shower. Wonderful view and perfect walking distance to everything in town. Next overnight visit to Depoe Bay we will absolutely stay here again.Nearby activities: For a small town there are 5 or 6 restaurants right near by, many, many shops and the whale watching center. Also there are a couple boat charters in town that are absolutely worth doing at least once.Walkability: Literally at the edge of all the things you want in Depoe Bay. We parked the car and didn't use it again until we left.

Pros: location. Great view of ocean. However across from 101 with road noise.Comfy beds, lots of good pillowsBig screen TV.Great price.Pet friendly.Balcony.Cons: dirty bathroom with broken light fixtures. Shower head is low, like 5 feet. Road noise. No breakfast.

This hotel has a wonderful view of Depoe Bay, with the entire side of the hotel being a wall of balconies facing the outstanding view. HOWEVER -- beware: guests in other rooms smoking cigarettes and marijuana on their balconies will force you to shut your balcony door and leave you with no ventilation and a too warm room (no A/C). You will be unable to enjoy your balcony.Also the price of the great view is that HWY101 is directly below the hotel and during the day the traffic noise is very present.

Reserved 2 rooms online. Checked in 1130 pm after a long drive. Was told we had 3 rooms to pay for. Said no we only reserved 2 basically told no refunds. So a room sat empty that we paid for. I wont be staying at any travel logde again.Walkability: Town close

Bed sheets were unwashed with noticeable hair and stains, crumbs still on counter, floor was filthy with dirt and no extra roll of toilet paper. There was a door in corner of our room with no seal on the bottom, making us uncomfortable. Room gets warm fast. Only good part was the ocean view. Won t be staying here again.

Rooms are clean. Balcony is nice. Negative is the gigantic bath tub in the room next to the bed. Takes up a third of the room. Also you are right onto the main street so traffic is really loud. Staff is great. Super nice and helpful. You are within walking distance of all the shops and whale watching. We enjoyed our stay here and would probably stay again.

We were looking for a last-minute place to stay for one night near Lincoln City. The price at this place was reasonable and the person doing the booking was nice enough to give us a small discount. The room we were looking at online was not available. So they provided the last available room for the same price.He said that it had an ocean view and was very clean. We were on the ground level and we had a partial ocean view at best. I would call it more of a tree view with some glimpses of the ocean.Unfortunately, the room was not as clean as we had hoped. It seemed like maybe they forgot to sweep the floor as there was lots of hair on it. There was also a lot of road noise. We were glad that it was just a one nights stay.The highlight of the trip was some whale sightings from The Horn Public House and Brewery restaurant during our short stay there.

My wife and I have stayed here twice. The rooms are nice. Wifi, direct-tv, mini fridge. If it says beach front it is not. It is across the road, but has good views of the bay. Very short walking distance to all the shopping and restaurants in depoe bay, which is really nice during vacation season. There is limited parking and you are a little walk from everything. Prices are not to bad. Staff is friendly. You have your own private deck, small but private. If you are looking for a place that is very close to the shops, restaurants and whale watching excursions then this is a great option.

This is the third time we've stayed here specifically... the view is decent and we love the gas fireplaces. This time I chose to spend a little more and stay because of the fire place but it didn't work. Frustrating. :-(

Nice rooms. Excellent view!!! Our room was very hot. But there was a fan inside the room and a ceiling fan. We sat on the balcony and watched for whales. Very close to a great little viewing area. People were soo very nice. The breakfast was very light. Only coffee and small muffins and nutragrain bars. I was expecting alittle more such as access to a toaster and bread. Very clean. Beds were good. Walking distance to restaurants.

My Boyfriend booked us a two night stay here. The rooms themselves are actually quite nice. Great view, big comfortable bed, plenty of space and parking is easy. I would have rated this a five star except for the service. I had the unfortunate experience of clogging the toilet on Saturday morning. I called the office to get a plunger, and reached voice mail. I then walked over to the front office only to find it closed, but there was a telephone and instructions to call the on-site manager. So, I did and reached a very irritated woman, I believe her name is Penelope. I explained the situation and she huffs.. I'm about to get in the shower, so it's gonna be a while. I explained that the toilet was over flowing and it was basically an emergency. She sighed then said she would be right down. I apologized and thanked her. She just had a nasty look on her face and mumbled a couple of rude things as I walked away. I was not happy that I had to deal with this, and quite frankly I was embarrassed by the situation. I'm sorry that she is the on site manager, but isn't that her job? Was it really such a huge inconvenience to her to take the five minutes it took to get me a plunger? If she doesn't like her job, then my advice would be to get a new job. She could have handled the whole situation much more professionally.

Penelope is an amazing girl running the front desk. She made our stay so comfortable and we t out of her way for our little family. The rooms are clean, with beautiful views of the ocean from the balcony. We stayed on the third floor and slept with our sliding door open. Good food 15 minutes away at the food truck nook in Lincoln City with fresh homemade food of all kinds. We will be back, and couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you Penelope.

Rooms had dirty towels left from previous guests, bathroom had hair left in sink and tub. Nothing fancy. Online pictures show hot tubs in rooms....we didnt have one. No laundry or vending machines. Staff just brushed us off. A glorified motel 6. They need to manage employees on how to clean.Nearby activities: Close to restaurants and gift shops.

Location is conveniently close to the whale center just a 3 minute walk and ccd there are restaurants within walking distance too.We were on the 1st floor, ocean facing as and because of the trees directly west of the hotel, from our room, was a peek a boo view of the ocean (between branches).We stayed 2 nights and typically when there is no "maid service" we have always been told and this was not the case. Don't even know if it was an option. In the tub there were long dark hairs on the walls of the tub surround which was a little gross. The room and bathroom appeared clean.There is a fireplace in the room however, there were no instructions on how to use it.I would stay here again if in town as the price per night was reasonable.

They say they don't advertise AC, but it's literally the only hotel / motel I've ever stayed in without it. Room was so hot. Nothing was clean with tons of hair and dust on the floor. 200$ room, wouldn't let us check in an hour early, check out time is 11. This will be the only review I ever write anywhere. That's how much I hate this place.

I'm not going to not pick little bits . overall it was a great location , we could see the ocean from the balcony, the hot tub & fireplace worked the bathroom was perfect. Bed is comfortableWalkability: Located with in walking distance of the shops & restaurants at the other end of the strip is the boatmorridge where you can get whale watching or fishing excursions

As others reported, broken off jacuzzi nobs. The gentleman at the front said nothing they can do.They offered a jacuzzi room, and they know it's broken.

rooms need some TLC- example: toilet guts held together by plastic bag; broken light fixtures cover in bathroom, patio slider EXTREMELY difficult to open and close. but it was clean and well appointed (rm 205). my friends room bath looks like they started some improvements and hadn't finished and there was sticky residue on mirror in hallway. (rm209). staff were quick and prompt to clean it. can't beat the location and I know it just changed day manager hands again. pet friendly. bummed that continental breakfast not available, although ads say it is. will come back anyway.Nearby activities: depoe bay downtown and harbor easy walkWalkability: other than the steep little hill , easy walking to stuff

The staff here are so nice! I interacted with the front desk manager (who lives onsite and runs the entire place herself 7 days a week) as well as one of the maids. Both very nice gals! We LOVED the view, LOVED the balcony, LOVED that it was just a block or two from literally everything in Depoe Bay, and since I have a 3 year old, we LOVED watching traffic on 101 (and the noise didn t bother us at all, the ocean was louder than the traffic.) Sure, there were a couple of minor things that weren t perfect, but I don t expect perfection from a motel google says is a 2 star hotel.

I went to this place last year and absolutely loved it. So I went again this year. Worst experience I've ever had. Receptionist wouldn't let us check in because she was completely booked the night before and needed to get the rooms clean. So strike 1. Very rude over the phone when I had called about check in the first time. That should have been my warning. Finally 4pm came around and we went to go check in and room still wasn't cleaned. Waited another ten minutes and they said alright you can go in all clean now. About an hour later we went to unpack our Suitcase and ended up finding a drug needle with stuff still in it stuck into the wall. With 2 small children under 5 I'm glad my husband and I found it before they did. We grabbed what we could and ran downstairs as fast as we could. The Receptionist response was "wow never heard of that one before I'll go check it after I get all these customers checked in" she didn't believe us and neither did many people in the lobby. After she went to go see if we were lying or not she ended up refunding us the 4 nights we had paid for and said to call wyndham about it. Still ended up getting charged over $77 for the hour we were there. Absolutely do NOT recommend.
