I stopped in the other day with a bad battery! D and D took the time to put a new one in and had me up and running in 10 minutes! D and D has always been honest, fast, and efficient and office staff is very friendly! I recommend them to everyone!

D & D came highly recommended and I couldn t be happier. I was having an electrical issue with my car and I heard from several people that Jeff is the guy to go to for electrical issues. Luckily it was diagnosed quickly and fixed in one day. The service was friendly, the communication from the shop letting me know the diagnosis and then when the car was ready was very appreciated. The office is clean and nicely decorated with die cast car collectibles and cool art on the wall. A nice bonus was they washed my car so it was nice and clean when I got there. I absolutely trust this place and will recommend them to everyone. Thank you!Service: Electrical repair

Absolutely love this shop, very professional and honest. Don't expect same day service, you have to make a appointment ahead of time because they are a small shop and they are good at what they do.

Thank you for taking the time to look after my 20 year old ranger. This vehicle means a lot to me as my mother helped me pay it off and she passed away this spring. They told me a flat rate and then when I picked it up it was cheaper due to my description of problems and less test to run! That s A1 service. A great place to take your vehicle for service. My HEMI spark plug change and an oil change were done quickly and at a very fair price. I was very impressed with this place. I brought my wife's truck in for an oil change, and I was immediately greeted by a friendly staff member as I walked in, I also noted that the waiting room was very clean, and looked like a place I wouldn't mind sitting and waiting for a bit. That being said, they had our vehicle done and washed in about 40min, but what's even more awesome, the price. For the speedy service, a clean car, and a good price this place well deserves its five star review.

I paid $111 to have my Van checked out because I thought the transmission was going out. D&D told me that yes it was the transmission and they could put a new one in for $5,900. We went 2 months without our main vehicle while we saved money for a new transmission. I took it into AMCO in Eugene and find out it was only the alternator! A $200 fix I can do myself. D&D used to be a good place, now they overcharge for worse service. Oh also they only charged me $50 to diagnose my transmission 5 years ago. I realize we had inflation but that's over 2 times what they charged me prior.

This was my first visit to D&D Auto and they were amazing!!! Watching then interact with both brand new customers and long time clients as well it became clear that this shop treats everyone like a true friend. They were professional, timely and went above and beyond by washing my car before returning it to me. Also receiving an email about the recommended issues found was a wonderful touch as well. We had check engine/electrical charge notice turn on while on a road trip. We were very fortunate to be passing through Cottage Grove and found D & D thanks to positive google reviews. Jeff diagnosed our failing alternator and squeezed us in at the end of the day (despite an already full schedule and the end of a Friday) so that we could replace it and continue on our trip rather than canceling our plans. The labor was faster than anticipated, so the final bill was reduced from the original quoted amount, a first time experience for me at an auto shop, so that was a pleasant surprise. I really can t thank the team at D & D enough for their excellent service and professionalism.

I own a business with multiple company vehicles and we bring D&D all of our company rigs and our personal rigs. For regular maintenance and repairs. They do a great job and do it in a timely manner.. Our car was having HORRIBLE problems--wouldn't accelerate, could barely make it up a hill, was shifting really rough. We took it to D&D expecting a huge repair bill. Turns out it was a stuck valve and it only cost us $88 to fix! Car runs better than it ever has since we bought it! They could have totally charged us $1000 and we would have paid it. Very honest shop, great mechanics, friendly, and fast service. They were done in a morning. This shop is amazing! They replace 4 calibers, 4 rotors, 2 tie rods, and 2 bushings in what equaled a day and half. Even managed to complete all of that below the quoted price. The receptionist didn't give false expectations and she was SO friendly. You hear about hidden gems all the time. This is such a place. The little shop that's AMAZING!

My family and I were traveling from Southern Oregon to the North Oregon Coast. A check engine light came on and the car lost power. We pulled into Cottage Grove and after stopping at a few shops who basically said they couldn't help I called D&D. Jeff was super nice and said to come by and he would look at the issue right away and see if he could help. They got us back on the road in just over an hour. This was the best experience we've ever had with an auto shop and if I lived in Cottage Grove I would never go anywhere else. Thank you D&D Automotive!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I have had excellent service at D&D Automotive. I had Jeff completely remove and rebuild the motor on my 67 Camaro and it was a huge job that they stayed with until it was complete. Very honest and upfront with everything they do. I have taken my car back for different unrelated repairs and they continue to do a great job. They call and communicate very well with the customer. Keep up the great work you guys !

Easy oil change where you can walk downtown, sit inside, or get a ride locally while waiting for service. My car was even washed; a nice touch demonstrating their attention to detail. Great service when they pivoted to add changing the cabin and engine filters. They needed replaced after all the smoke here.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

The most honest auto mechanics I have come across yet. I will visit the same mechanic loyally, every time, until they do something dishonest. I have gone through many mechanic shops over the years. I have been bringing both of my vehicles to D&D Automotive for a few years now. They are straight up about prices and don't try to do work that does not need to be done. The are always cheerful and keep great records of all inspections and observations pertaining to my vehicles.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I took my Lexus to the Kendall dealership in Eugene for a brake job, I gave them two weeks to get the parts they were going to need. When I got there they told me they could only do the back brakes and have to order the parts for the front. Then, they called me and told me they have the parts but they have to charge me again for the service. Then they told me that they don t have the sensor they need and I would have to come back and they would Charge again for the job. I wasn t happy. I called my local D&D Automotive, told them what was going on and they told me that they could get the job done. They were, very reasonable, Very Knowledgeable, got the job done quickly and Very respectful. I will never go back to Lexus, I will Always call D&D Automotive for our Car's needs. I will send my family and friends to them, because I know that they will do the job and won t break anyone s bank accounts. Up front and honestly goes a long way. Thank You, D&D Automotive.

Very reasonable prices, I could call anytime and get advice from Rodney and he will always be honest and try to help. Have only got little stuff done to my car but Jeff and James work fast and always do a good job. My car gets washed and detailed every time too! Theres no other place I'd trust with my car. Great small town auto shop, highly recommend

Check my car in on Monday was told that I would get it back late Wednesday afternoon. It was done on Tuesday afternoon which was great because it's my only car. They quoted me a price on Monday and it came back $80 less. And they wash my car. Highly recommend

Great small town service! Rodney was very helpful with rescheduling our appointment with little notice and had us in and out on a tight timeline. Jeff and the guys are a staple in the community, there's no other place I'd take my car to!

Had an issue with my vehicle cutting out, and was afraid to drive it for fear of the worst happening - but brought it into Larry and his team - was out of there in less than 2 hours with a diagnosed, repaired, and washed car, and ready to go. They even reminded me my tags were expired.I will go nowhere else as long as I'm in Oregon. Anyone in the area should take their cars to this shop. They're honest, fair, and conscientiousness. Love them!
