Fast, friendly, efficient, and trustworthy.While in a scramble to get something fixed before a road trip, Bob stopped what he was doing, identified the problem, and had it fixed within hours.These guys came highly recommended, and I now know why.Cottage Grove is fortunate to have automobile mechanics like this at our service!

I had a brake line leak. I called everywhere and nobody had anything available for two weeks. I am a one vehicle family of 4. They sympathized with me and told me to bring it in and they would squeeze me in. Had my truck back super quick and they were the most honest prices I have ever had. They don t try to get rich on every customer like most places. I will be back for sure! I won t even waste my time calling around. I am very impressed with the work, price and customer service. Wonderful company! Dustin mechanic has utmost integrity! He doesnt do things unnecessary or charge you for unnecessary time or parts! He is our go to!!Hes worked on our big class c rv, our car, and our pickup! I would suggest him to everyone! Thanks Dustin! I had my transmission blow while driving on the highway. We stopped a NAPA auto parts a block away and they were one of their top recommendations. The owner Dustin ran a diagnostic on the problem and bent over backwards to try and find a replacement transmission. Do to a supply issue we couldn t get a new one. A good man and very helpful, I would go there for mechanic work any day, but I live in another state.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I had a oil leak on my diesel. They took me right in so I left my truck and less than two hours they called saying it was finished. When I picked it up they didn't even charge me. Great place, great people. Thanks

I came to this shop from out of town. Russ welcomed me with respect. He accurately assessed all of the repairs I was seeking/needing, with a fair price to follow. Literally out of his own pocket, he helped me when a mixup occurred. All the repairs were of quality and expedience. I highly recommend this establishment. Russ and his crew went above and beyond for me when my truck s electronic throttle control light came on due to a bad sensor while I was driving north to Portland. I pulled off the highway and parked at a mini mart next to their business. I walked over without a phone call or a heads up and they diagnosed the issue within 15 mins. Instead of leaving me stranded for a day(s). Russ called around and found the part I needed located in Eugene. He dropped what he was doing and drove to Eugene himself to pickup the part (who does that?) They had it installed and I was back on the road in two hours. Simply amazing, honest service and I m so fortunate I broke down where I did. Thanks again Automotive Specialties. I wish you guys were in Portland because I wouldn t take my vehicle anywhere else.Services: Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

Was able to come right in without an appointment, explain the problem, they got right to work, found the problem, kept me up to date on progress and delays, got the vehicle back in a timely fashion. Staff was kind, polite, and informative. Would definitely recommend.

Russ said "I won't sell you anything you don't need." and he didn't. Instead he essentially said "Either let me do it my way (and hand rebuild your old transmission) or go find someone else." So I found someone else, Marvin Smith's Automotive Repair, and saved $1500 using a warrantied re-manufactured transmission from Streetsmart Transmissions. $4100 vs $2600 - no regrets.
