Clayton s is awesome! I really appreciate their help and knowledge when it came to my 2002 Honda CRV. I m a new CRV owner and not really super knowledgeable about cars, Hugh really helped explain the issues with my car without making me feel dumb at all. And the price was right, they were helpful with a shuttle and just super kind. Great vibe in the shop as well. Thank you so much !!

Had my car breakdown before days before an 800 mile move, with a 3 week lead time, I wasn't too optimistic. The owner had me come down that same day to do a quick check to see if there was anything to be done. About 45 minutes later and 3 techs looking at it, the problem was fixed and they didn't even charge a diagnostic fee. Absolute gem of a place with amazing people. I've never had better service, and they won't try to upsell you on anything.

I wanted to express my appreciation to Clayton s Automotive for everything they have done for my family while repairing my 2019 Chevrolet Equinox. I broke down 15 minutes before closing and the owner gave me the towing company s information that had keys to his shop. Then he came and picked me up free of charge to drive me 15 minutes home. The next day they fixed my car and had me on my way by 3pm. It was a great price and exceptional service. Clayton s has me and my family s business for life. The front desk personnel are so nice and the shop serviced my car quickly. It was nice to get the pictures of my vehicle throughout the process. They even offered transportation back to my apartment. Clayton's diagnosed and fixed an electrical problem no one else seemed able to find, and they did this with friendliness, clarity, and professionalism, and at a fair price. The car not starting was complicating our lives, and I'm grateful to have it running again. I'll be back: I'm taking both my cars to Clayton's from now on.

Hugh and the crew down at Clayton's are awesome! Super friendly. I took both of my older vehicles into Clayton's for a full service inspection. I had them fix a few issues on both cars. Very fair, up front pricing was accurate, and completed the work in a timely manner. I ve been getting my Hyundai Veloster serviced at Clayton s for 3 years. The price we pay is worth the service! They have gone above and beyond every time. Yesterday we went in for our last oil change before moving across the country to Canada & my husband came to find out that we lost all of our points we never used because they cancelled the program. We managed to save $40 worth in points & we were expecting to use them. They managed to give us $10 off & I don t think that s fair. I hope that they can offer something better for other customers who are probably experiencing the same thing.

Took truck in for a fuel issue. Truck would start run fine then die. Finally wouldnt start at all. Robert busted his butt off trying and troubleshooting everything.. Finally got it digured out and fixed. This shop is amazing. Anyone who needs car repairs take it to them.. They treat you very well and they even had a loaner car to use while it was in shop... Thanks Robert and all who work there.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They communicated every step of the way. It was extremely nice to get a detailed work order for issues that needed to be done and then gave you an opportunity to talk about them before any work was done. They run a great shop there! If you give Hugh, Bob and the service Crew a chance to service your vehicle, you will not be disappointed.

BLUF: I trust taking my aging car on any road trip after Clayton's has serviced it.I've been bringing my 2007 Speed3 to Clayton's since I bought it. If you are a "detail person" and meticulous about the maintenance of your car, this is the place to go. If you just want an oil change or repair of a specific part, their comprehensive tests and service recommendations may leave you dizzy. It's an upsell but with data.I appreciate their well documented (e.g. photos and cost estimates of what needs attention, such as my filthy air filter) and detailed explanations of needed maintenance, and Hugh doesn't "talk down" to me as a woman as he explains parasitic current draw and other at-risk components of my car's well-being.They provide up-front estimates of recommended maintenance so you can decide what to prioritize. Warmly welcomed just as the sun was rising over the hills. Today was my first time here, and they exceeded my expectations. Their complimentary shuttle service and hours/flexibility made taking my car to it's "doctor" the easiest experience. Wonderful group of knowledgable, patient, and kind gentlemen. The text pics for updates are pretty nifty, too.

We hit a deer with our delivery van. Every local collision shop was booked months out so we called Clayton's to see if they could help us. Clayton's was booked but understood we needed the van for our business, they worked overtime to help. Within 24hrs they had a new radiator and AC condenser installed and the van operational. They saved us money by not replacing components that could be reused (stuff that had minor cosmetic damage or could be reused or straightened). The other collision shops said they are required to replace anything that is damaged cosmetically, because the insurance companies require it.

Great service and work. The digital overview they do is great for not only a status review of your entire vehicle, it is smart device accessible until the next time they update it.Clean breakdowns of pricing and work performed. And they work well with both enthusiast and lay person. I do my own oil, filter, and common maintenance so I take my vehicle to them for work that is beyond my ability. Always performed flawlessly and as requested. Clean lobby and comfortable too if you decide to wait on site.Example of service (and how Clayton's earned my loyalty): my serpentine belt was the original and 13 years old and began to squeal signaling it needed to be changed instead of just cleaned. Another shop I had gone to before Clayton's I had asked to replace it, they just cleaned it (I can do that myself though). For a couple months it was OK then squealed again. Tried Clayton's and asked again for a replacement, they replaced it without fuss and checked if pullies or tensioner needed replacement too. Was only a worn belt, no need for and didn't push unnecessary parts while listening to my request.

My experiences with Hugh and the crew and Clayton's have always been great. They're friendly, prompt, and communicative. I like receiving texts/emails every step of the way. The work I've received has always been top notch -- and I see them plenty for my 1997 Lexus, 2001 Subaru, and 2013 Nissan. Only downside is that sometimes it can take a couple of weeks to get in because they're so busy -- not a big deal for routine/preventative maintenance.Services: Engine repair, Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

My first experience with Clayton's was excellent so I expect to make it my go-to service provider. I was very pleased they squeezed my brake job into a busy week and also did a complete diagnostic of other needed work. When I think of what I'll miss in Corvallis as part of moving to Bend, one of them is Clayton's. You get a lot of transparency and can tell they genuinely care about the service they provide.Bonus if you're a midwest transplant, it was always fun talking about the UP and feeling nostalgic on my time there.

They took two business weeks to repair my valve cover on the 2015 chevy and over torqued the screws so it broke down mid drive, they also replaced unnecessary parts which cost extra. The valve cover failed two-weeks later. They broke my key fob while they had it and they denied damaging it. I take photos of my key fob if dropping off at another store, and use other mechanics now. I strongly warn against claytons if you want your car fixed or to be treated with courtesy. I'm using a different name to post this review

Our car broke down and we used AAA to get a tow to the shop and though they were short staffed that day they said the would do their best to get it fixed. The next day it was fixed and ready to go. With the tensioner being replaced as well as the belt and fluids topped off. I was more than happy with the service and professionalism and courtesy; we'll be coming back for sure! Thanks again!

Bob and Hugh are the friendliest auto experts that I have had in Corvallis. Their system of vehicle inspection is far beyond anything I have ever experienced--extremely thorough and this analysis really shows the condition of your car.
