Stopped by since a review read ribs with meat so tender they fall off the bone. Pretty good. But the smoked salmon was on fire!!!! Tastey and delicious with pepperoni sticks for the win. Such a nice market with local flavors. Yum.

ROAD TRIP GEM. Columbia River Gorge- If you re in the area, stop by and fuel yourself and your car. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this well-stocked little store had a great variety of deli foods. Food that I could actually eat. They have a great wine selection, lots of beer and seltzers and coolers and all that stuff. I only saw one option for a bottled water, I would have liked a couple more besides Aquafina. As I was searching for water, I could ve swore I heard somebody mention biscuits and gravy I will definitely have to be back to review those.

If you re coming out this direction you need to make it a point to stop at the Corbett country market. They conveniently have smoked meats ready to go and it s the type of meat that falls apart in your mouth with the best bbq sauce. I was surprised to not see many reviews on this place. They deserve all the praise. I already can t wait for the next time

Amazing Columbia Gorge gem! You know it's going to be a good meal when a market's hot case is filled with nothing but homemade smoked meats and delicious sides. Husband and I stopped for lunch. I had a Reuben that they grilled for me, and hubby had a pulled pork sandwich with homemade bbq sauce. We each had a serving of homemade mac n cheese. We will be stopping by again!

Possibly the best BBQ in the portland area !! Simple fall of the bone ribs and a hand full of other smoked meats from tritip to pulled pork sandwiches they do it all . Homemade BBQ sauces take it over the top ! Great stop on the way to Mulnomah falls or crown point Vista house .

It's a bit of a detour off the freeway but you'll find the cutest market and the nicest people here! We were looking for gas and google took us here. We drove right past it at first because we were looking for a gas station. What we found was an adorable market that happens to have a (very old) gas pump. If you're in need of a snack, some gas, or a restroom, I think it's well worth the extra 15 min detour!

The OWNER of this establishment needs to be more respectful to their customers. We have spent THOUSANDS of dollars over the years!!! After speaking with the ladies at the counter, and getting an okay from them for a parking situation, he threw a childish tantrum and decided to "86" my husband. DO BETTER SIR!!!! Oh, and he told my husband that he doesn't give a DAMN about if we shop there or not. So any customers of this place aren't worth ANYTHING to the owner. I will NEVER, EVER refer ANYONE to the Corbett Country Market, EVER!!! I have referred SO many people, but I will let them know NEVER TO GO THERE AGAIN!!!!

Built with character from the ground up, a classic gas station and general store combination that is a soothing reminder of what life was like before unique, community-supported businesses like the Corbett Country Market came under the assault of corporate America. Inside you'll find friendly, local folks eager to assist, and everything you might need, from homemade burritos to hot coffee, to get you down the road. My advice is go here often, stay as long as you can, and always leave a tip!

Unique little country store that has a little bit of everything you might need. Bbq smelled good. I found a new cbd drink which was refreshing and tasty. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because I wish they had an actual bathroom and not the smelly port-a-potty outside.

I stopped to the station to fill my diesel tank that's in the back of my pickup up with diesel. The way the tank has been installed it only will take fuel at a very slow rate and I was trying to get the pumps handle to stay on so I wouldn't have to sit there and hold it for 20 minutes and the guy standing there grizzly commented that I only had two options either hold it or don't get fuel..... I proceeded to sit there and just hold the fuel handle. As time went on he grew animalistic and I can only think that it was how long I was taking to fill the tank mind you I was in a hurry myself to get back and get whatever work I could get done in the daylight left. I made a comment about how its taking forever and he said well you're not the only one that doesn't have time for this and he started shaking his head and I asked him if you would like me to leave at that point he said no but then things went South immediately he started making comments and telling me he's the owner of the business and that he doesn't have to stand there and wait for me to get fuel and that I could go down the street and get the rest of my fuel..... he basically forced me to stop and told me to go down the street while I had my truck on E and an excavator at a job site trying to finish cleaning out some brush. Steer clear of the owner in here but the staffs is extremely friendly..... I've been coming to the station for the last 2 weeks and haven't had a problem until I bumped into the owner... I'm thinking the owner is just resentful that he's stuck in the country with fresh air, beautiful views, great people and a nice business that he is going to take it out on a certain few.... or as the sign says maybe too much liquor

I showed up to this gas station in the middle of the night, completely out of gas. The pump was locked up and the store was closed, but someone working after hours was able to grab me a gallon of gas from their barn so that I could make it to the nearest 24 hr gas station. They didn t have to, but they did anyways and saved my night. Definitely made me a return customer.

I don't even know where to start with this place. It's the best small town market ever. They have all the basics, plus an amazing breakfast, and delicious BBQ in the afternoon. I came in tonight to grab some and there was an fantastic guitar player/singer sitting in live. The staff is super friendly... I wish I could give 10 stars.

I normally love this little store. The food is great and the employees are usually so nice. I had a really strange experience there today that left a really sour taste in my mouth. I have had a personally devastating week and was headed up to Larch Mountain with my dogs to finally have some quiet time.I found a couple of stray dogs and called the store to ask what to do since I'm not from the area. I knew it wasn't the right place to call, but I was hoping they could point me in the right direction. They gave me some suggestions, including bringing them down if I could get them in my car. I got one in the car and the other jumped a fence, so I brought the one I was able to wrangle down. I guess the person I talked to wasn't there because they seemed annoyed that I came in. I don't know if I said something wrong, but I'm also exhausted so I could have.I brought the dog outside to wait for animal services, and one of the employees came out and started casual conversation. Once she found out I lived in Portland, it went downhill after that. I love Portland and am happy I put down roots, but this person is upset about "all the trash and the hate". She insisted upon telling me about it over and over again, and kept ignoring how obviously uncomfortable I was. She didn't seem to care that I clearly stated we didn't feel the same about Portland and how much I like living there. It was uncomfortable and went on for a while until she got upset with me and went back inside. I would never do that to someone even if I hated the place they live. It was rude, and made an already stressful situation that much more stressful to me. I will continue to patronize this store, but if you are from Portland and love living there, I suggest keeping that to yourself.

This place is awesome! We were on a road trip around the area and decided to drive over to the Vista House. We wanted to grab lunch somewhere local and saw the BBQ sign on the side of the road and stopped. Best meal so far of our vacation! The pulled pork sandwiches with slaw are delicious and we know our BBQ! If we are in the area again, we will be stopping here. Plus the market has a ton of items, pretty much anything you need.

We visit the country market a few times a week! The cashiers are always friendly. The smoked burgers shouldn t be missed! Try a pulled pork sandwich with some mac & cheese on top. It is freaking amazing!!The hours are great. I can usually count on that *one* grocery item I forgot from my list to be there, thus saving me from having to drive all the way into town.I love how the owners support the local community. I can t say enough lovely things. Stop by & visit!

This is the last stop for food and fuel before entering the Historic Columbia River Scenic Highway. Not only is it a "general store," it is a small restaurant which sells the best barbecue I've ever had in Oregon. The food is freshly made to order and is inexpensive. The store portion of the building carries pretty much everything you would find in a convenience store. Parking on site is somewhat limited so you may have to park a short walk away. The food is worth the walk, however. I highly recommend!

I wish they were more places like Corbett market. In addition to being a great little marketplace where even strangers are treated like regulars, the hot food far exceeds the size of their humble counter. Smoked chicken, perfect brisket, pulled pork, polish sausages and great sauerkraut are just the beginning and are all done to perfection with a love for good food. I stopped in recently for a brisket sandwich with sauerkraut during a break while on a search and rescue mission. Then the radio got busy and I wasn't able to eat it for a few hours. When things calmed down and I had a minute, I sat down on top of Larch Mountain looking at the gorge with one of the best brisket sandwiches I'd ever had. A brisket sandwich that could hang in Texas with its head held high. Lastly, ask about their jerky--there may not be any in stock; It goes fast!

I was pretty happy to finally visit this market. It has the old school look and feel.I ordered the tri tip sandwich.I was not impressed at all. It was the worst tri tip I've ever hadIt was so dry and just terrible.I couldn't really go back or I would have. I paid a lot for that sandwich and it was not good.My suggestion to them is to not pre cut the tri tip. It must have been cooking in the warmer for hours. Not good.

A friend of mine and I stopped in on our bikes and spent around $30 including buying hot sandwiches which we ate in a sit down part of the market. They refused to give us any water, either for our bottles or with our meal even though they have a sink right behind the counter and we were fine with that. They instead said they only sell bottled water. What kind of place serves food but has no water for customers? I honestly have never experienced this before in my life in America. The sandwiches were good but we probably won't be stopping here anymore..

We stopped here on our way to Vista Point. This market has a homely warmth and welcoming feel. It made me want to move to the area so I could come by more frequently! They have an amazing selection of almost anything you could need. The staff are helpful, and inviting. I felt right at home! I'm going to make this a stop during my next trip.

So glad to find this charming grocery store with a precious little gas pump. We realized were on fumes coming from Portland. Had 0-miles range when we got there. Thankful for the signs for gas freeway. Suggested and add of gas to their Google Maps profile.

Stayed in Corbett last September at a quaint AirBnB and we stopped at the Country Market not knowing what to expect. We were so happy to see a wide selection, great service and AMAZING food. We had delicious pulled pork and mac&cheese, and we loved it so much that we came back the next day!

This place has the best pork ribs in the PDX metro. There is a serious pit master smoking these BBQ. This is no gas station food. It s like a Texas country store with awesome BBQ. We found this place when went on a hike and wanted to get some Gatorade and this was the closest store from the trailhead. I also got a little hungry and got a half rack of pork ribs with their homemade bbq sauce. Everything about the ribs was perfect. Meat falls off the bone and is tender with the right amount of smoke. I personally love bbq and have eaten at all the famous bbq joints in Portland. I also travel to Texas once in a while. So I was seriously surprised to find these ribs with that much caliber in Corbett by an accident. Next time I go hiking again, I m gonna get more bbq. All my exercise will be a total wash but is worth it.
