I was pleased with everything from a fair quote, knowledgeable staff and quality work. Dennis was honest about possible further repair needs for future and office staff was also knowledgeable and on the ball.

They took my transmission fluid and Put grease on my drain plug to make it look like they had changed it and did not. They drained most of my oil out of my car. And they also took a tire off and put a wrong size on. They are thieves and liars and should be shut down. He also came out. Told me my motor mouth were bad. I have taken my vehicle to 3 places now. And the last one was tom's automotive and there is nothing wrong with my motormounts

The owner was forced to confront me as I was taking this picture. I was so captured by how busy it was I trespassed his customers truck, by up stepping on the bumper. He was so concerned and rightfully so he took time from the shop. It effected my day in 2 ways. My presumption to just do that would be ok kind of makes my sick but it won't happen again. Secondly I am struck by how patient he was with me and my complete lack of situational awareness. It is clear to my why he is so busy.

In a day when shop rates are pretty much the same, what's going to matter is the quality of the work and the customer service. Coquille Automotive has both of those! I was so pleased with the first car I took to them, I took another car in for repairs!

I'm so happy with Coquille Automotive! I first came there when my car was dying from Bandon to Coquille. I barely made it there, thank goodness. I needed my car fixed before I came back to Bandon. Dennis looked at my car and found my problem. I was there for 2 hours but it was worth it. Dennis got my car going and been going to them ever since. Even my husband goes there for his truck. Dennis and staff took such good care of me. He showed me what was wrong and suggested options to fix it. I don't particularly do cars, so I'm glad they do!!

We had a 10hr road trip home when we discovered there was something wrong with our car. The shop was busy but Tom took time out to check our tires and drive our car around to diagnose the issue. He pinpointed the problem and made us feel comfortable that it was safe to continue driving home. We offered to pay for his time but he refused to take our money. So thankful that he gave us the peace of mind to drive home.

I scheduled a routine tuneup weeks in advance and recorded my vehicle prior to taking it in to protect myself. As a female, I ve been taken advantage of in the past by mechanics. I let the shop know that nothing was wrong with my vehicle. I just needed a tuneup and a brake flush. I was called back by the business and told they were not going to work on my vehicle, because I recorded it before I brought it in. He used foul language and stated he did not have parts ordered for my car and was planning on putting aftermarket parts, but instead decided to not work on my vehicle at all. I was told to come get my vehicle without having any of the work done. In my opinion this is very bizarre, because if they were planning on doing an honest job it shouldn t matter if I recorded my vehicle prior to bringing it in. I recorded my vehicle to show that none of my engine lights were on, and it wasn t missing and the transmission was not slipping everything was good. I have a newer 2016 vehicle bought from the dealership. I was accused by the mechanic of not trusting the business and that they didn t have time for that kind of damn trouble. He said they re too busy to deal with it. As a customer who had scheduled appointment for over a month for a simple tuneup and brake flush the parts should ve already been there. Complete waste of time and extremely rude to me. I ve made arrangements to take my car to a dealership for professional repairs and service using new factory parts. I will continue to record my vehicle prior to taking it into any mechanic this was a huge red flag and I m glad I did record my car so no one was able to take advantage of me.

I'm an old car person. Not as in cool, classic cars...just older cars...the kind you call 'Ol Bessie, Stormtrooper, the Batmobile or that ugly POS. Mostly I'm just too cheap to buy new, so I keep paying to maintain and repair our fleet of older, high mileage vehicles, figuring it's still less than making new car payments. Trust me when I say, a dishonest mechanic could make a mint off me. But not the crew at Coquille Auto.They take care of their customers with limited funds driving cars with unlimited issues, and they're very much appreciated. They always take the time to run the diagnostics, explain any issues with that make, model or part, followed by explaining what can wait to fix and what should get repaired ASAP. They're thorough, knowledgeable, attentive and kind. They always take great care of my Subie with regular oil changes and maintenance. Recently had my head gaskets replaced and they were the most decently priced shop I could find. They do solid work and no pressure tactics. The staff is very informative and speaks to me in a way I understand.

We have been taking our rigs here for several years now (Chev Van, GMC Safari, Dogdge Pickup) they are amazing. We have never had any problem at all with their work, they often find ways to make it less expensive. I can't tell you how many times we have come in to be quoted a price and the "bill" is LOWER than their quote - how many shops can you say that about. They only charge you actual price/time. They also good at identifying things that are about to fail to keep an eye on for the future or so you can decide if you want to keep a vehicle or not. GOOD PEOPLE! GREAT SERVICE!
