Tom s Bulldog Automotive has serviced my Mazda since I purchased it in 2020. They are always promt, fairly priced and do superior work. It can be hard to find an auto mechanic that you can trust and that doesn t try to rip you off. Tom s Bulldog has always been honest about what my car has needed. We are lucky to have them servicing autos in Coos County!

I recently had a customer traveling in the Coos Bay area in need of mechanical repairs. (too much fun at the dunes) The employees at Toms Bulldog took great care of them. Greatly appreciate you guys providing great service and also informing them of a potential tire issue they needed to address. I also heard about how great your waiting area is and how kind everyone was. The inspection & diagnostic was spot on & the tires were replaced to prevent any issues for the long drive back to Arizona.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Steering & suspension repair

Tom s staff if exceptional at staying engaged throughout the entire visit and following up with you even after the visit. Pure VIP treatment. I taught customer service techniques and Tom s is a rare service provider you don t get everyday

I felt care for by all the help I got for Tom's! I broke down and it got dark before the tow truck could get to me. Not only did Tenisha help me get the tow truck and make sure that I was safe, but Tom was heading to come pick me up and give me a ride home! It was well after closing time for them. Then they check my car the next morning and found the problem quickly!I love that they always take the extra steps to let me know that they appreciate the business and make you feel like family! 5 star service every time! Tom's Bulldog Automotive has serviced my 2008 Dodge Ram 3500 since I moved to Coos Bay in 2017. The service has been outstanding, the service techs very professional and Tom is a great guy!!Tom helped me with a VISA dispute for very poor on-the-road service. Tom wrote a detailed letter as to what service was NOT done correctly, which I truly believe helped VISA agree with my dispute.I will always return my Ram to Tom's Bulldog for any future service needs.I highly recommend his service.

I had some electrical problems with my truck and the tow truck driver recommended Tom's Bulldog auto. They were courteous and fast diagnosing the problem and fixing it. The service was excellent and worth every penny.

Tom s automotive were absolutely fantastic. We have been meaning to leave this review for a while. We stopped by a couple of months ago at the start of a road trip with a pressing issue (brakes), and a pressing timeline. They handled it quickly and professionally, and got us out on the same day! Reasonably priced too. Would recommend to anyone

Tom and his fantastic crew put finishing touches on our 67 Camaro like an aluminum radiator, gauge cluster, Magnaflow exhaust, BFG tires, and many tweaks fixing my weekend warrior mistakes. I was under the gun to get it running to drive down to Hot August Nights in Reno after it had last been down there in 1991 and had not been on the road for 10 years. Needless to say with only 5 days of testing before we had to leave, our beauty safely and thrillingly got us down and back. We put 1,500 miles on the Camaro up to Tahoe, around through Virginia City, and several cruises in Reno in heat averaging 95 degrees and the gauges never left the green. Thank you Tom and Chris! PS to Tom - you were right - white walls out on the BFG s was the right call.

Was skeptical at first, but Tom s team did a great job on my 2002 4 Runner. It runs like new. Two weeks after the work at Tom s, I heard a rattle coming from the area they worked on. I took back in and Tom s team found the noise was coming from the center console. A flash light was rolling around. Tom was so great about checking over the work they did and letting me know all is good with my rig. Thanks Tom!

Tom's Bulldog Automotive is great to work with! They're very thorough and take the time to look at your vehicle as if it were their own. They catch what most miss and document all finds with pictures and/or video. So that they can clearly explain what they've found. It's great! You don't have to try to visualize what they are talking about, they can easily show you! Quality services, with proof of the issues, along with timely fixes! Always professional, great attitude and willingness to help. They deliver the car back clean, with a nice little note and goodie s bag. Prices are reasonable and they get authorization before beginning the work if it is a diagnosis job.I want to shout out to Leisha for sending me a personalized card thanking me for my business and wishing me good travels. Excellent service, Tom waited for me after hours to get my vehicle to me. Very courteous and well spoken, he gained my trust quickly.The inspection cost was lower than most. Work was done swiftly and efficiently. This place is very professional and they try their best to help their customers in any way they can. They get the job done super fast too! Personally, I was really impressed with this business. They are amazing! I have a 1969 Chevy Impala and it needed a front end alignment. They are the only place in this entire area who can do it! We looked everywhere and we found these guys. I recommend them for any car issues you may have. Thanks Tom's!

The owners and crew of Bulldog Automotive always go out of their way to communicate at every step of the repair process and provide full information about the condition of my car, including photographs to document what's being reported. The repair work they do is reasonable in price and done well. Having used their services a few times now, I can vouch that excellence is a consistent pattern at Tom's Bulldog.Am updating my review as of November, 2023. We had our car break down on an Oregon roadtrip, and luckily we were able to get towed to Tom's Bulldog Auto. The staff were exceptionally helpful and very empathetic towards our situation. I had the unfortunate event of breaking down right outside of Coos Bay on a. Friday afternoon while traveling. The first place I called was Toms, they got a tow truck and shuttle right out to me and were able to look at the car and help me feel ok after a very unsettling experience. Once Tom was able to go to work on my vehicle Monday morning his team inspected the vehicle and were able to clearly explain the problem and right away Tom spent incredible amounts of energy to help me in anyway he could with calling insurance companies and the car manufacture and waiting on hold for hours. I have never known a mechanic to stay past hours to help people in the way that Tom does to ensure everyone goes home happy. I spent a great deal of my time at Toms and he treats everyone with the most kindness and again he has an amazing team! Everyone is great! Tenisha at the front desk went out of her way to make friends with my dog who is scared of everyone and always made me feel so welcome. I had to call quite a few times and each and every time Tenisha answers I could feel that she really enjoys what she does and connecting with you. Finally, I had Tom service my other vehicle when I came back to pick up my car he d been working on. I m not from Coos Bay but if you are then you are certainly lucky to have Toms Bulldog Automotive right there when you need them. They truly are the best! I drove back home a very happy human.

Excellent customer service at Tom's. Tanisha, at the front desk, is great. They did a wonderful job with my vehicle. I took it in for routine maintenance and some electrical issues regarding my radio and windshield wipers. Tom and his staff are professional in all the work they perform. I get text messages with all updates, the lobby is well kept, and I'm able to drop vehicles off after hours. I even talked to Tom about an issue I was having with a truck, in which he explained to me what's going on in detail.

They are so nice. They have worked on the car before. Great service, super people. There is a lovely, comfortable waiting area. This time I needed a body shop, as a deer had hit my work car in Bandon. They cleaned it up for me & recommended a body shop.

When my battery died unexpectedly, I called Tom's Bulldog to see if they had my battery in stock, and they did indeed. They got me in very quickly even though it was late in the day, and got me back on the road in about an hour. The lady at the front desk was very nice and polite, however a while back I asked for a quote to have a very specific repair done (I know a bit about cars but can't physically do much of the actual work myself, so I purchased the correct part after investigating the issue and just needed it installed)--it wasn't an option to just have that repair. They wanted to run a very expensive diagnostic whether I wanted it or not, then if they found that issue, they'd make the repair. My regular mechanic was out of town at the time and I just waited and went to him instead--Tom's would have charged me over 700 dollars for what my normal guy did for 200. And it was indeed what I knew the issue was to begin with. Like a lot of shops, they assume you don't know anything and prey on that. Luckily I know what I'm talking about and waited.

5 star review, quality professional service and the very best communication from reception! I am really appreciative of the service received, saved our Canadian bacon and got us back on track.PS, they worked on my VW, give them a shot, you won't be disappointed :)
