Sherwin is my knight in shining armor! This man & his Nobel truck I named Mater , towed my Jeep Rubicon 2-3 miles off the beach in Pacific City. My starter was shot. He towed it to his shop, fixed and & got me up and running within less than 24 hours. Considering my circumstances, he offered a fair prices, taught me some things and helped keep me calm in a stressful situation. HIGHLY Recommend Sherwin!!!

I broke down at night on the road in my Toyota RV. I found Sherwin on the internet, and he got me off the road, diagnosed the problem, picked up & put in new parts, and then got me to my destination. He turned a bad situation into an inconvenience.

*This incident occurred in August of 2020, and I have forgotten to leave a review till now.I got my van stuck on Ridge Road, a residential road which turns into sand at the end. My insurance company sent out a tow truck, and they were not able to drive all the way down the narrow road. After that incident, my friend s parents had to come pick us up, and drive us all the way back to the Portland area.My insurance company informed me the next day that they refused to send out another truck because the van was off roads. I called multiple tow companies along the Oregon Coast, and they all told me that they would not be able/be willing to tow the van out. A few of them told me to call Sure Win.Sherwin told me he could pull out my van because he had done it many times on that exact road. I also told him that I thought the transmission went out since a few different people including the last tow truck driver said it likely went out.Since it was an old van, we agreed the transmission would not be worth replacing, and he could have it. Paying a tow truck to bring it back to Portland would have cost me hundreds. A few days later, he called me up, and told me that the transmission was fine, and it was a broken ball joint. He said he could fix it for me.Unfortunately, I was not able to get a ride to the coast for about a week, and Sherwin parked my van on his property for the duration of this time until I was able to get down there to pick it up.If you need someone to pull your vehicle out of an area no one else can, Sherwin is your guy!

My battery light came in in my rav4 and this gentleman was able to diagnose my problem ( alternator) I got the part and he installed it very quickly. Amazing service. Would recommend him to everyone I know.

We were stranded, the towing company that our roadside assistance had arranged simply bailed on us and never answered our calls. It was 11pm on a Sunday, we were 80 miles from home, and desperate to find someone to pick us up. Several other companies simply refused rto come out that far, or were too busy to take on more calls, or just didn't answer the phone (even 24 hr places!). Sherwin answered his phone. He got in his truck at midnight and picked us up and got us and our vehicle home.He as our hero! Trust Sure Win Towing.

Our thermostat went out at 4:45 on Friday night. Sherwin came to our rescue. He was initially going to tow us to town to a shop that could fit us in the following Monday. Instead he offered to get us going and would work on it the following day (Saturday). The price was more than fair and he actually had us up and running by 11 pm that same night. He saved our weekend and I cannot say enough good things about our experience working with him.

We were in Pacific City on vacation this week and thought it would be nice to drive on the beach... Getting onto the beach was a price of cake and the views were beautiful. But getting off the beach turned out to be a little trouble. In the process, we broke something in our four wheel drive on our truck.I looked online for local repair shops and found these guys. They had great reviews. After my experience, I feel the high reviews were spot on.So I called the shop and spoke with the owner. He was very knowledgeable. I explained what happened, and he gave me what he thought was going on. I have a little experience working on cars and to me it sounded like he was on it, which gave me a good feeling right away.I brought the rig in and the guys got right on it. They found the issue within minutes. It was actually pretty comical, listening to their friendly banter as they ruled out the issues. Hearing them made me laugh and it really helped ease away the tension of the situation. Once they figured it out, they discussed options with me, put my truck in order, and sent me on my way.They were knowledgeable, professional, friendly, fun, and reasonably priced. When I need a repair shop in Pacific City again, these will be my guys.

Brakes went out as I pulled in to Pacific City. I knew I needed them done, pads are sitting in my garage. Emergency mechanics are always a gamble, but worth checking if I don't want to give up vacation time. Called Saturday morning and let Sherwin know my situation. Asked for an estimate and was relieved and surprised by how reasonable he was. 1pm drop off, and my truck was ready to go Sunday morning. Saved my vacation and didn't take advantage to do it. Thank you!

Got a flat in Pacific city and realized we didn't have the adapter for the special lug nuts that were on our rims. Sherwin drove to the market in Pacific City to bring his adapters and see if he had the right one, which he did. He let me use the adapter and then sold it to me, but when he came out there was no guarantee he would get anything out of it. He really went above and beyond.

The owner is a very kind man, but not very responsive to messages. If he says he'll call you back, he absolutely won't. He had my daily vehicle for over 2 weeks for an issue the tow-truck driver said would take a couple of hours to remedy, and the issue still exists to this day. So I paid for a tow, paid for Sure Win to work on my vehicle, but I'm still exactly where I was before I went to them. He stated that he thought he knew what the issue was, but he was not interested in fixing the problem, "it's too much work," I think is what he said. He did give me other options for mechanics, which I wish I had before calling them. As I stated, the employees and owner all seem very generous and nice, he gave me a discount for all the troubles, but they are not professionals in any way, shape or form. So if you have a flat tire, I'd definitely call them, but for anything above changing the oil or wiper blades I'd do it yourself or go to an accredited, established business.

I encountered "Sure Win" AKA Sherwin Jones via a roadside emergency and repair. Had I known then that AAA had banned him due to complaints, I would not have chosen his "shop/business" to do my engine replacement> He absolutely lied about why he was not connected to AAA. I learned in depth knowledge of his business and business practices. None of his employees have had background checks.. He fought the DEQ for over two years and an extended 52+ weeks because of his arrogant belief that he should be able to have a known drug location, a illegal dismantling operation, and illegally store over 900 gallons of used oil, along with 1000s of tons of illegal vehicle waste. He is a master-manipulator that targets individuals he assess as marks.

It's always... a sure rescue with Sure Win Towing... a piece of advice for anyone needing a tow... look up Sure Win Towing... BEFORE any of the "more known" towing outfits... you will not regret... inexpensive... gets the job done... respectful... when the "more known" towing companies will charge you every penny... and not show up when you need them...
