Had Jim's Garage do brake work on my truck that I didn't have time to get to myself. They did a great job. Wanted to support a local business and wasn't disappointed at all with the choice. Price was very fair and they were awesome in every category. A++++

Jim and His wife are Really awesome people!! They have helped me with several issues on my vehicle over the past 6 years, and are ALWAYS fair with price and how long it takes to get you in and fixed up!! Highly recommend them!!

I can not say enough good things about Jim's Garage in Clatskanie Oregon. We had a breakdown just outside of Clatskanie. Shannon and Jim did everything they could to make it a positive experience for us. Shannon even helped us find a place to stay. I completely recommend Clatskanie as a place to have a breakdown!!!

Honest and trustworthy mechanic! They fixed the issues on my car, and when they couldn't help with my husband's car they gave us a referral to somewhere else and didn't charge a diagnostic fee.

My husband and I just moved to the area and have already had 2 of our vehicle worked on here and now we refuse to go anywhere else they're honest and the prices are way better then going anywhere else. I love going in and seeing buela as does my kiddo. I love that it's family owned also. Just a great shop who won't cheat you and know what they're doing if you need vehicle work done this is the place to go!

I've been using Jim's garage for five or six years. It's the sort of straightforward, fair and honest business that is getting rarer and rarer these days. I have been going to Jim s garage for several of my vehicles for over 18 years. During this time they have always been more than fair, very honest and they do the best job they can. There are some things I do not do, which is fine, I appreciate their honesty. But of all the shops I have used over my lifetime, driving for over 40 years, I would say they have been one of the most fairest if not the fairest shop I have ever been to and one of the most honest. Car repairs sometimes are not cheap or easy. My husband worked super hard on our Jeep but nothing was working. We took it to Jim's Garage and they found the problem right away. It wasn't as expensive as we thought it would be either so that was a huge blessing!

Would not recommend unless your issue its basic. I went in asking to have my car stop over heating, over a thousand dollars wasted and a lot of time. Taking my car to a new shop to get actual diagnosis which is even more money when jims said they fixed it. WRONG! Being a mom without a car has been very inconvenient. Normally when you ask for a specific problem to be fixed it gets fixed you pay for it and you are on your way....not this time and not here. Very unsatisfied. And the only shop in town.

I absolutely love this place! They are very professional yet extremely friendly. They are an honest business and put my car on a hoist to check for damage because I had high-centered and thought I might have bent something. It's really appreciated when a business doesn't have an automatic service charge and takes the time to verify that everything is okay.

I recently had a problem with my 2017 Ford Expedition which had stalled several times and had a check engine symbol associated with the problem. Jim diagnosed it with a code indicating the engine throttle body needed cleaning or replacement. A throttle body was acquired from a Ford dealership parts department and installed. I was so happy because the Ford dealership wouldn t even have time to look into and diagnose it for at least three weeks. I was out the door with my car in no time once the part was located.I also had a complete engine replacement on a 2004 Dodge Durango done with Jim some years ago no problem with that job.I would highly recommend this shop.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Overheating truck on a trip from Eastern WA to Astoria. Expecting head gaskets & all the worst. Recommended by a hotel desk clerk, Jim s (Bill did the work) took the job right away & found misplaced cooling system hoses. The work included leak test for both head gaskets and cooling system pressure test confirming nothing major existed.The final bill was $135.00. The proof is in the pudding...made it back home with trailer & 4 passengers without a problem. They were mindful to call with all developments... superb communication. Jim s rocks!!!

We were stranded with car trouble, on our way to the beach. Shannon kept us informed about the progress without sugar coating things. Jim made a special effort to complete our repair and it was done within the day. For all of that the bill was more than fair. Kudos to Bob s Towing who teamed up with them to make a bad situation much better.

Had to get new brakes on my car and a new wheel bearing. Very good job . Very friendly and nice . My boys and I would have had to walk home and we got a ride home very very nice I would definitely go back again. Thank you .
