When my car's in the shop, I'm normally freaked out and stressed but they did a great job keeping things informative/understandable for me. The customer service was straightforward and lighthearted, plus they did no up-selling which was a relief. They did a great job and I'll definitely go back again since their oil changes are cheaper than Valvoline.

Love this mechanic shop - the team is always very friendly and honest with the services required. Super knowledgable staff. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to take their cars in for a check up or to be repaired.

My first visit here and loved it! Very welcoming and friendly. They did my oil change and did not try to sell me on other items that were not needed, like most places try to do. I will be bringing my cars back for sure!Thank You

They were able to get me right in for an alignment. The mechanic could tell if the accident I had been in was the fault of putting my vehicle out of alignment and showed worn on the outside of my front tires. The guys at the front desk were professional, knowledgeable and had nice personalities.

I've been regularly taking our cars to Honest 1 in Clackamas for a few years now and the service is the best of any shop I've ever used in my 20 years of owning cars!

The name of this place is NO LIE!!! They really are HONEST. HUGE shout out to Mike. When he says he guarantees his work, he's not lying. Work was done to my partners car, and unfortunately, to no fault of Mike, we needed to bring it back. He got us in immediately, ordered the parts needed, and fixed it the same day, NO CHARGE! This company and Mike are truly one of the last HONEST ones out there (Pun intended ). Thank you, Mike, for making what could've been a very stressful situation, stress free!

I was having "STARTING" problems with my Honda. Honest1, did a very good battery LOAD check which proved my NEW BATTERY as of August from another business was NOT as good as their machine claimed. Took it back to original store to get a FREE replacement but without the integrity and help at Honest1, I still wouldn't know what was wrong. Trevor was so kind and helpful and suggested we try the easy things first so I wasn't paying for diagnostics that weren't needed. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism.

Great shop, easy to work with, and will give you an accurate quote. Also, they will compare quotes from other places to let you know if they can do it at less of a cost or if it's a better deal. Will be going back of other services.

I can always count on these guys to get the job done. They are always honest with me as well, they all have great customer service and always so friendly. I ve been going here for years and won t ever go anywhere else! What better things can I not say enough about Honest-1 Auto Care; if I could give 10 stars I would!! This is the location to go! Mike has been taking care of my car needs for quite some time now. His crew is awesome! Always attentive, they listen, are respectful and courteous of my time, and are HONEST & transparent about suggestions about what my car needs to be done. Mike & his team of mechanics and front-desk staff always gives 100% customer service & care and I am always grateful for his automotive expertise. My car always comes out clean and reliable after being serviced and I have never questioned their motives or professional car care after leaving the lot. If you are looking for a new mechanic, whether it's for a tune-up, oil change, or transmission replacement, you name it, this is the place to be. Thank you Mike and team for always making me feel comfortable and welcome and making sure my car is always safe to drive. Appreciate you all! went in for an oil change and transmission flush was told itd take about two hours. they call and say no one ordered the transmission fluid so they can just do an oil change. six hours later theyre done... they then said theyll have the fluid by monday and theyll set up an appointment for friday at 9. no call, text or appointment. thats good because i dont want to come back. extremely bad experience. not sure what happened but a couple weeks ago this place had 2.5 stars. no wonder.

I can't remember who all helped me but everyone at Honest One was very nice and helped me out greatly. I was hearing a weird noise under my car and when we thought it was fixed and I still heard it, the guys at Honest One took another look. It ended up being a very simple issue but it put my mind at ease. I really appreciate them taking the time and listening to my concerns.

I bought a new used car spoke with Trevor they checked it out did not try to sell me a bunch of stuff that didn't need to be done which I really really appreciated help me prioritize what need to be done and all for a great price. Thank you for your great service!

I brought my car to the shop with an EGR issue. They made the repair in a short time and I was very happy with it. HOWEVER...my car was left outside overnight and someone destroyed my locking fuel cap attempting to steal fuel. I asked the shop if they would reimburse me for the new cap. I was told that it is not the responsibility of the shop. They told me that they place the co. trucks and customers more expensive cars inside. I guess my car didn't qualify....So much for ethics in business.

They charge me an arm and a leg to fix my mirror after being a customer for many years and spending tens of thousands of dollars and lose my service over a few hundred. Because after they said, they fixed it two weeks later, it just stopped working again and now they re telling me it s something else and I need to pay more.

True to their name. They are honest, don't overcharge and give you straight answers. Quick at getting back to you and scheduling an appointment. MARK at the front desk is very friendly, helpful and explains things well. Mike is also helpful on the email side of things and responds quickly. Thank you.

Mark and Mike were absolutely artisans in the craftsmanship and care that was put into the repairs of my Jeep. Great team, It was great experience and not a simple one where I had to navigate traditional and extended insurances. Highly recommended if you want feel peace of mind on the road and personal customer service from A to Z.

Was able to schedule an oil change & tire rotation within the same week I called. Was greeted warmly and completed it in just barely over an hour. If you choose to wait, they offered free Wi-Fi with an area to use a laptop and/or charge your electric devices. Along with another space away from other customers to sit where the is a large-screen TV on the wall with a remote or just relax while you wait. VERY Happy with the service I received and will return for future service needs.

I was quoted $4,500 to replace the clutch and flywheel on my car They claimed the parts were so expensive and it was very labor intensive. Called another shop down the street that got the same parts at the dealership. It was only $2,374 for the whole job. Where did the extra $2,000 come from? The guys were nice and got me the quote within a couple days. Just can t justify that insane pricing. I called the dealer myself for part pricing. The flywheel for an oem one at BMW is 730 dollars not $1,700 . It only calls for 7 hours shop time. Terrible price gouging!!!!!! My guess is they don t want to work on bmws and are quoting high on purpose. Called 3 other BMW specialists and they all were below $3,000 parts and labor.

Very expensive shop. I was quoted over $1700 just to replace an AC compressor. Huge upcharge for parts. The most expensive compressor I could find elsewhere was $350, Honest-1 asked for more than $600 for the compressor, which still means over $1,100 just for labor! Got it done elsewhere (with new part, not a rebuild) for about $700 INCLUDING labor! This also included serpentine belt and complementary clutch adjustment (which was fixing the bad adjustment from Honest-1 after I spent $3,500 there for a new clutch!).When I picked up my car (after hours), there was a new dash light on for the VSA system. I called and they said they'd take a look to see what happened. I went by and then they wanted $155 just to take a look. Take my advice and don't pick up your car after hours so you can prove to them that the light is on before you drive away. They said they "meticulously log any dash lights," but they clearly missed this one and don't want to take responsibility. After the amount of money I've spent there, you'd think they'd want to keep me as a customer.

It should be called Less Honest -1 Auto. They had my car I bought from Eastside Auto next door twice 12 days total. The 2 companies told me they didn't have my car but when I threatened to call police report stolen it reappeared. Any mechanic shop that can't fix a car to pass DEQ is questionable. This is month 2, no tags, no plates, no trip permit, no registration, (2 tickets) for not having the above paperwork. I've been lied to by less then Honest -1 Auto & owner of Eastside Auto & manager Eric, they both lied to BBB. Today, I filed a complaint with DOJ in Attorney General's office & contacted ODMV. Law states a dealership can't SELL car that won't pass DEQ. LESS THEN Honest -1 should cut ties with LESS HONEST EASTSIDE AUTO

I have been going to Honest-1 even before i moved to Oregon (sorry). While i am always worried about getting taken advantage of by mechanics, the last two times I've visited Honest-1 have been great. I thought my vehicle might have major issues but they only had to grease up some joints. First time they only charged me for the labor and this last time they did it free of charge! Mike's always in a good mood and communicates effectively to help me understand what was needed. I'll be coming back here any time i have an issueEdit on 4/14/22: i brought in my car one night since it had a screw in the tire. Since i bought the tires from them, it got patched for free and was ready by noon the next day!

It was very easy to make an appointment, and the gentleman I spoke to was very polite. Their waiting room was clean and comfortable. My car was done in a timely fashion. The last time I went here they told me I had a lot of problems with my truck like it needing valve cover and a/c belt and tensioner replace plus more and wanted like $1100 to fix it all. I go to 2 other reputable auto shops and they both say I only need a valve cover done all the others are perfectly fine. Don t go here they just want your $$$ and will do and say anything just to have them do work on your car or truck. If anything go to Same Day auto service instead. Honest-1 is only good for there $40 oil changes and that s it.
