Was looking for a Toyota minivan for some time due to my growing family. Jim is up front and very easy to work with. I typically shy away from car dealers but this is an actual* family owned business. Would do the process all over again, that's how easy Jim made it! Thanks, Roberto.

Thank you Jim and the Fisher Family! Buying used vehicles with a lot of miles is stressful and doesn t typically come problem free. Jim and his team were easy to work with, very responsive, fair prices and did great work very quickly. Thanks again! -Scott

Great experience. He greeted us and showed what he had to offer then He let us look and talk amongst ourselves while being available in his office with Any and All questions. No pushy salesman breathing down your neck!THAT is the reason we chose to do business with this place! I felt comfortable, the cars were fairly priced- he is also the mechanic which is nice, he knows first hand what s been done and needs to be done. Felt like buying a car from a good friend. As far as used 82nd dealerships go- this is the best one. I ll do business here again, definitely. Thanks Jim

I just purchased a vehicle from Family Fisher Auto. I drove from Montana to pick up the vehicle, after the Carfax, test driving the car and going over the maintenance history with the owner I felt confident in my purchase. On my return home the vehicle broke down on the side of the freeway, I had it towed back and the owner said he didn t work on Sundays but would look at it on Monday, an obvious inconvenience to him to look at a vehicle that he sold me that couldn t get 70 miles away from the shop. On Monday he looked at it and replaced a broken hose and found another hose that needed replacement. Once leaving again, less than 100 miles away the car started to overheat, I continued to drive to a family member's house but was unable to take it all the way home to Montana. I reached out to the owners to let them know and he said that because I was sold a vehicle as is and at a lower cost than the asking price along with him fixing the supposed problem for free I should be happy with my purchase. I should have been sold a car that could go further than 70 miles without the car breaking down regardless of what kind of discount I was given. I wanted to support a small family business, because they usually have integrity and take pride in their inventory as well as care for their reputation within the community. I was sold a car that I am unable to drive and is now being looked at by another mechanic. I feel like I was taken advantage of along with being lied to. I would not suggest purchasing a vehicle from this family owned business. Unfortunately you cannot trust that you will be sold a car that will run and you will become an inconvenience if you try to hold them accountable for being honest business people. This was probably the worst experience I have ever encountered doing business with someone. I would highly recommend purchasing from another business.

I had a positive experience shopping from Fisher Family Motors. I was nervous to buy a used car on my own and on a budget, but Jim and his wife and staff made it less scary and very easy. They're nice and knowledgeable people! They have a shop, so if you ever need oil changes or mechanical repairs, they can do them.My car did have an issue when I bought it from them but we didn't realize it until after. We worked out a fair deal to replace the engine, given cars are sold "as is". In retrospect, I should have gotten Lemon Busters to look at the car before buying, but that was the the only mechanical issue the car had, and Fisher Family Motors was able to fix it right after the sale. I am fairly positive that they don't sell lemons.Recommend.

I bought my Ford Excursion here in September. Glenna & Jim are both very nice down to earth, honest, and helpful people. I literally could not be happier with my truck. I absolutely love it and I feel like I got an awesome deal for the price. They have a great shop and I plan to bring it in soon for its first oil change.

***two year update - our van still runs and drives great & we ve only had to do bare minimum maintenance on it. I m convinced it s going to run forever, even with higher mileage! We were looking for a replacement family vehicle on a limited budget and short timeframe...I was beginning to lose hope when I saw their Facebook ad: This is the van you ve been looking for! - I took that quite literally. They happened to be right up the street from my work - another sign it was meant to be. I stopped off that same night for my first test drive, and wound up driving the van home the next day! Jim and Glenna were both very nice, communication was excellent and they made the car buying process a real breeze. They found a lender who was willing to work with me as I rebuild my credit. I bought a van that s over 10 years old, but it runs better and feels more fancy than my 2016 sedan ever did! We ve had it for about two months now, taken it on a few road trips, and no issues have arose! Will definitely recommend Fisher Family Motors to anyone I know looking for a great car buying experience.

I have not (yet) purchased a car from Fisher family, but it is my go-to shop for all auto related work. I appreciate the fact Jim is always available and honest about my car issues, and never tries to push bunch of products/services I do not need.....which is very refreshing. Now I recommend all my family and friends to Jim, and everyone seems to be highly impressed/satisfied with his work.

BEST car buying experience! Family friendly. We were so happy with our 2007 Highlander purchase that we returned the next week to buy our 2009 Toyota Matrix. Both vehicles are running great! Plan to return to have Jim service our vehicles when they need it!

Very happy with Fisher Family Motors. I bought a truck from them in early/mid September. I felt I received a fair price and the purchasing process was smooth. Unfortunately I had an issue with the truck less than a week later (fuel pump). Jim came out on a Sunday to pick the truck up, took it to the shop and fixed it in a timely fashion. A few issues came up during the fix but Jim was quick to text me and keep me filled in. When it was all said and done, Jim didn t charge for tow and the cost of the fix was extremely reasonable. Buying used, especially a vehicle that is 15 years old does have its risks, but Fisher Family Motors took care of me and I would use them again.

Fisher Family Motors has become our family s savior! We have had work done on multiple vehicles and every time, we have been overjoyed with the superb work, timeliness, and reasonably priced service. I am so happy we were referred to his shop a couple years ago. Best mechanics in the Portland area! Highly recommended!!

Bought a nice 2000 Jeep Wrangler from this place. Great deal on the price. Happy with the overall outcome. There was a few concerns & issues. First, we went to get gas and noticed a hose stuck in the gas tank. It appears someone tried to syphon the gas out of the tank. I asked dealer about this and he admitted there has been some tampering and theft on the lot. Second issue is the radiator had a leak so the Jeep broke down 45 miles after driving it. Very frustrating, however the dealer did order a replacement radiator and got it to us fast. There was a cracked windshield and the dealer took some off the price for that. The dealer worked with us and I am really grateful. However the location of this dealership is not the greatest, no real security or flood lights. I would advise to get a warranty of some sort since some vehicles may be defective as was our purchase. The dealer made it right even though we did not get the warranty. Very grateful for that. It did cost me a tow and some time to install the replacement radiator, but still a better deal than any other 2000 Jeep Wranglers in the area for amount of miles it had on it.

We bought a Toyota Rav4 about a week ago. Our experience was pleasant. Jim (the owner) greeted us after a few minutes of browsing and asked us what we were interested in and then showed us 4 cars. We took a look at them on our own with NO PRESSURE at all. Jim answered our questions and seemed to be honest and forthright about the info he provided. We took a test drive and liked the vehicle. Negotiations were friendly and there wasn't much BS-ing and running back to "check with the boss" that you'll get at a larger dealership. I like that. We came to an agreement on the price and finished the deal in the office. Jim's wife handled processing the payment and it went smoothly and friendly. It was nice that they provide the temporary registration on-site so you don't have to drive illegally until you're able to get to the DMV when it opens. Jim fixed the key fob and a cosmetic issue on the car while we paid. We left feeling confident that we got a really solid car that we can depend on. And I also like to know that I have a relationship with someone who knows how to fix problems on my other cars in the future.Overall it was a great no pressure experience and we'll be happy to give them our future business. If you're looking for a fancy, polished, (overpriced) dealership to buy your car, then this might not be the place for you. But if you want to buy a car for a fair price, from somebody who isn't going to try to rip you off, then go here. We felt comfortable the entire time and best of all I didn't leave there with that feeling of "what just happened?" followed by regret or buyers remorse that I usually get when I buy a car.We love our car so far. Drives like a dream. I will post updates in the future with any pertinent information. Also, a piece of advice to other potential car buyers: if you want a good car, you usually get what you pay for. You can't blame the dealership if your oil is dirty after 5k miles of use. And if you buy a $1500 PtCruiser, you're going to get a $1500 PtCruiser. No dealership in the world can change that. Buy a Toyota, Honda, Subaru or Ford and maintain it!

So I cant even begin to Express how awesome Jim and his wife are. Fisher family motors is who I reccomend anyone to. I am cursed when it comes to vehicles and Jim has fixed the issue everytime. He even got me financed and into my new used Subaru in less than like 3 days, and advocated for my financing after being denied by the first place. He has the cheapest labor price around, and all around best mechanic in town

I purchased a 2003 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer, they were upfront about the issues it had, which are pretty common in the 5.4, I was able to fix them myself pretty easily. They were very friendly and I'm happy with my vehicle. Overall I had a great experience here.

I just had a bad auto accident a few days before purchasing my vehicle from here and after searching everywhere around me, I looked through Fisher Family's inventory online in my budget. I found one I liked a lot and basically got the car almost immediately after seeing it in person. In total, I was without a vehicle of my own for roughly four days, which is nothing in my opinion. My other car was totaled, so I was already extremely tense and on edge to start, but the experience here was the least stressful part of the entire process from beginning to end. I can't describe how kind and personable they were with me and how much they literally went above and beyond to get me back on the road in the right way.Anything that came up was taken care of and accommodated, and Glenna specifically went out of her way several times to assist me. As a first time buyer, I have nothing but good things to say about the experience. Thank you so much!

Really disappointed by this place. Stopped by to check out a used vehicle for sale and it had not been cleaned and there was mold in the trunk. It seemed like the car also had mechanical issues because it hesitated to start. I'm not a mechanic by any means, so I can't say for sure, but it was enough to give me pauseAs for the other responses from the owner saying they have a log of customers, I can confirm no one asked me for my information. Maybe it's because I didn't test drive a car, but they did hand me the keys. It's also worth mentioning that no one on staff was wearing a mask despite local mandates.

I bought a Ford ranger from here a few months back. I needed a small 4x4 truck to get to work in the winter as I live in the boonies. So far it has gotten me to work everyday through all the snow and ice. I couldn't be happier with the truck. So a few weeks ago, my wife wanted to get a AWD car to cause her little versa just wasn't keeping up with the country life we live, so we headed back to the fisher family and they got her in a subaru outback. She loves this car so much she won't even let our kids eat in it (haha). Anyway, I definitely recommend this place, super friendly and no pressure. They have earned lifetime customers from us!! Oh!! Great service rates as well!

Another great car! I am truly thankful to have found an honest used car lot. I have now bought 3 cars from them and am satisfied with each purchase. They listen and pair up the wish list with a car that fits. I can't give high enough praise about this car lot.

I went to this place in the hopes of getting a good solid deal on a 2001 Hyundai Elantra, as I needed a replacement vehicle for courier work. I'd understood the place to have good reviews on Facebook, and the person who owns the place claims to have been a mechanic for thirty-two years prior to going into business with a car shop. When I went to see it in person, I inspected the vehicle and asked about a great many things, such as the brakes, headlights, oil, the suspension (the vehicle had been lowered, which I understood would need to be raised again soon, which was my intention). I was told repeatedly about each category I asked about that they were in good solid shape, and he claimed to have done a completely fresh oil change, and changed every single fluid including transmission fluid, brake fluid, and coolant, and the only issue was that the car made a grinding noise, which he said wasn't the transmission (since he claimed to have installed a new clutch) and that it wasn't a wheel bearing or the axle, but the wheels rubbing up against the wheel walls. He also claimed I wouldn't have to change any fluids (apart from oil of course) for another 80,000 miles, and also claimed he installed a new coolant gauge. He claimed as well that the front tires were practically brand new and the rear ones were fifty percent. I chose to believe him, and did not have him write any of this down on paper. My mistake.Within three days a headlight went out. Not the biggest deal, I replaced it. But as things went on more started going wrong with the car. I noticed it had an outright ant infestation within a week, it was leaking fluids within two weeks, and within three weeks, as I was driving it down the highway about to start my daily route, I heard a massive banging noise from the right side of the vehicle. The vehicle then made a popping noise and has continued to do so ever since. I finished up that day (it was a Friday) and took it in on Saturday to have it looked at. (I should specify at this point I had put around 2700 miles on it since I purchased the vehicle.)Lo and behold I find out I was lied to about a substantial number of things. That sound was a bolt breaking on my right control arm on the front wheel, and the popping noise was the cracking and warping of said control arm. The oil in the car was completely solid black(which should NOT happen after 2700 miles from a fresh change,) and as it turned out the oil drain plug had been sealed into the pan, because the pan had no threads, meaning the entire drain pan would have to be replaced. All four tires turned out to be almost completely and totally bare, the car was leaking transmission fluid on top of oil and coolant leaks, the coolant gauge had stopped working, and of the two places I took it into both told me that the grinding noise was definitely the transmission, not the wheel walls. This is on top of other issues such as the tie rods being warped, all four wheels needing alignment, and in sum total the cost of repairs was estimated around eight hundred dollars more than I paid for the vehicle. In every possible way this business lied to me and sold me a bad vehicle. It was my mistake not to get him to put these things in writing because it means I can't sue him. I attempted to talk to him about these things and when I did he tried to weasel his way out of what he said, backing up and changing his story about how he only told me certain things were good. I'm out two thousand dollars and I even lost my job thanks to this purchase.Do not ever, EVER buy a single vehicle from this dealership. You will regret it.

Fisher famiky is the best place to buy a car or sell or trade a car too. I traded my jeep with almost 300,000 miles on it and got a new jeep with a loan and they helped me get a low loan for my first time. For anyone struggling and needing a car i would say go to fisher family motors!!

On July 4 2022, we had a strut break on our vehicle while were on our way home to northern B.C. We tried numerous repair shops, but all were closed for the holiday. Not only did we get an answer at this shop, he actually did the repair and had us on our way in a few hoursWe highly recommend this shop
