Went in the morning. Got in and out quickly. I was worried I wouldn't pass but it turned out to not be an issue. It's nice that they don't charge you unless you pass. Bring something to entertain yourself while you wait in line.

I read all the reviews, took something to do and never picked it up. I got there around 8:45 on a Friday morning, the line was on the road and backing up onto 82nd. I was horrified .for no reason. The lines moved quickly, the personnel were friendly, courteous, & helpful. I can t say enough good things!! I was out of there by 9:10. Great experience!

Wow,...waited 1hr in line,.. then passed and purchased my tags for 2026, 2 years only,.. 211 dollars, including the DEQ fee of 25.00 Dollars this should be improved, add additional operators for peak days and hours so more lines could be moving along , on my visit only 3 working lines, 7 lanes available?And this every 2 years, should be extended to every 4 years for this cost , which has gone up but for no additional services or duration of usage, why?People we can do better. This is our government!

Relative.Ly quick.They opened on time which I loved rarely.Do places do that anymore?They had plenty of service areas open.But the representatives weren't overly friendly.Obviously, they weren't in love with their job and the tags outrageously expensive to go through d.E q and my tags was two hundred seventy five dollars

DMV told me I needed to get my diesel truck DEQed. DEQ informed me that was not the case so I wasted a trip but they were very knowledgeable and quick.

In and out quickly in the morning. Good location for testing. Easy and straightforward. I suggest watching a movie on your phone while you wait in line in your car. Makes the time pass quickly. But make sure you look up now and then. To move when you need to.

This experience was pretty painless. Got there right when it opened, so all lanes were full but only took 15 minutes.Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.

Worst experience as a customer ever!Tonight (12/1/23), I pulled in about 15 min before they closed and as I pulled in, no one noticed me for a while so I parked and tried to get their attention to see if they were still accepting people. I was immediately verbally accosted by the female employee.Luckily the man working helped me, offering support. As someone that has worked in plenty of service jobs, behavior of the female employee was totally out of line and un-called for. Very unprofessional, insensitive, and straight up aggressive! I am still just confused. Thankfully the male employee apologized for her (so this must be a regular thing?). All I wanted was my emissions test . Thanks to the guy that did it for me gladly.

The people do a good job and are friendly. I don't agree with the DEQ testing being needed anymore. It was supposed to be temporary. They keep raising the cost and adds to your licensing fees. Greedy state. Two cars this month cost us over $500. Yikes

I had my paperwork in hand filled out. Pulled up and had the car tested and was on my way in 5 minutes. So easy and fast.

While the line was wrapped around the building and well into the street when I arrived...I was probably there for 30 minutes. Employees were super nice. I'll go again....in another 2 years.

Lines looked long, but moved quickly. My DEQ inspection was completed in less than an hour from the time I arrived to finish.

Did not pass. Attendant made some recommendations to get the truck to pass. Was very helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Hopefully get the same person next time.

It is easy to get smog test done in Oregon. You do not have to go to DMV for your renewal. You can get the test here and show proof of insurance and you are done with renewal.

When I arrived, the line I chose was six cars deep. It took maybe 10-12 minutes until it was my turn. It went fast! The facility was clean and organized and the gentleman who helped me was super knowledgeable and just really nice. We had a great chat about his retirement plans for next year.I'm obviously not going to dock this DEQ location for the fact that I'm disgruntled at how much I had to pay to get tag renewal stickers for my mini van ($226 - gross).

Great alternative to the Portland DEQ test station and not much further away from much of southeast Portland. The lines were relatively short (on a Friday afternoon) and the view of Mt Hood is fantastic.My only issue was that my gps had trouble getting me there. But, considering it is right off 82nd, I didn't really need the gps to get me there (just did it out of habit).

I loved the person that helped me. We joked and had a great time while forking out hundreds, I wish I could remember their name but thanks making this fun! I can't wait to take my car again.

I always thought going to the DEQ was almost as bad as the DMV but this time around it was totally different. Quick lines and friendly staff. To the gentleman in lane 1 at the last station that did my test twice in one day and was incredibly helpful and funny, I just want to say thank you. You made my day.

Got there only waited a few minutes and got to go in and the testing only took a few minutes then I was out of there, granted a few hundred dollars lighter but was in and out quick which was nice since it was the wkend and I had lots of errands to do

Station Manager, Lee, was unhelpful and argumentative. Unwilling to provide any information as to how to resolve a failed test because of inadequate DEQ software s inability to read my vehicle s VIN number.
