This review is long overdue Needless to say Bobs Automotive is the go to shop when you need something done. I fought a transmission issue that ended up taking over a year and 3 different transmissions before the issue was resolved. As long as you have the patience and understanding that maintenance takes time, this shop will not only take care of you, but will go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. I have yet to find a shop of their caliber.Service: Transmission

Took my car there cause it wouldn't pass smog. They took my car kept it for about 3 days. They did an oil change and some other stuff. What they didn't tell me. They stripped my drain hole for my oil and put a helic coil around my bolt and pounded the bottom of my pan with a hammer to set the drain plug back in. I found out 2 months after I took my car there cause it started dripping oil like crazy from my drain. They wanted me to bring my car back in. I decided to fix it myself cause now I can't trust them. They lied on the phone and didn't say anything about it. DONT GO HERE.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Stopped to get advice and estmates on work i needed. Craig spotted a problem and wouldn't let me leave till they fixed it. Great to find a place that cares. Thank you guys great job.

Best mechanic I have seen in a long time. Craig is incredibly smart about any vehicle I have brought to them. I actually changed to bob's from another shop I have used for years. Love those guys and gals.

Asked Craig how he came up with his results on a vehicle that was inspected. Just asking him questions and Craig was very short and he would brush off any comments that would contradict what his 'opinion' reflected. I was actually surprised of the good reviews this establishment had I told him. Now seeing that majority of these reviews are older. My interaction with Craig was not good and hardly professional. He threw a tantrum and stormed away when I simply questioned his professional opinion on a matter. Can't imagine how he would of reacted if I criticized his inspection at all (which I didnt). I've owned many professional shops and businesses and this is not a way I would of acted towards a customer asking how they came up with that analysis. The lady up front was pleasant but Craig was disappointing to say at the least.To anyone who comes here. Make sure you agree fully with Craig otherwise you could upset him very much and who knows how he will react.

I brought my Jeep Wrangler to Bob's because my RPM was getting really high and asked them to check if anything was wrong with my transmission. They drove it around and luckily it was just my fluids. However, they really put in the work to figure out the problem. They not only stayed late as I wasn't able to get back before closing. They also showed me new shops I can look for as I am moving out of state.The people here are awesome, they provide great service and my car runs smoothly now!Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

These guys are the tops, Chuck & Craig. You read these reviews and not sure whether it's hit or miss, real or not. I can say without a doubt after 13 years, BEST MECHANICS / SHOP / CUSTOMER SERVICE ON EARTH! I drove from Tacoma Washington to Central Point Oregon to have them work on my car. That's what I have to say about them and all I can say to them is THANK YOU for EVERYTHING!!

I was traveling from Portland to Southern California and my radiator started over heating. I called around and looked on line and was fortunately lucky to find this place. I brought the car in and talked to Chuck. He said there was no way he could get to it for several days but would look at it anyway. He ended up fixing it that day since I was traveling. He was very professional, honest and friendly and wouldn t even accept an offer to buy pizzas for everyone. Definitely I would give them a 5 star rating.

I had a great experience here. They found the part I needed and were really personable and easy to work with. The owner had a really great staff and I'd do business with them anytime I need a mechanic.

This was our third time going......we won't go back! The head waitress is very rude! She runs the show! My pancakes were burned beyond repair so they turned them over....thinking I would not notice! They tasted terrible!! Dah!

Have brought 2004 Subaru Outback Wagon, my daughter's 2002 Prius and my 2000 Tacoma to Bob's for several years. I have found them to be honest and helpful in deciding what repairs are essential for safety and longevity of the vehicle versus ones that can be postponed. The quality of their work is good and their prices are reasonable.

Good honest mechanics. So honest I send everyone I know there. Pretty hard to find that quality in a shop now. Definitely up front with you from the get go.
