I got to see and hike the fall 2 out 5 times, because is too crowded and no parking.. Traffic was horrible.Summer time, need to reserve entry pass the from Bridal Veil Parking lot to Horsetail Fall parking for $2 online. Only could entry the hour reserve and could stay long as you want. 1 time entry only. There is shuttle bus from falls to falls. Reserve entry pass start at 9 am, before 9 is could entry without a pass. Flow of falls is more than in winter. Leaves is very green.Winter, you don't need to reserve entry and not crowded as other times in the morning. Be careful on the trail, is icy. I actually fall on the end of bridge, but lucky I have thick jacket on so minor injury. Very green and leave in fall color. Very pretty.Hike is very easy and 0.2 mile one way to bridge. Pavement trail and stroller friendly.Bathroom by gift shop and restaurantRestaurant and gift shop open at 9 amCoffee stand opening early but I can't remember what time.

No brainer sightseeing from Troutdale, Oregon. EASY PEASY free parking which is withing eyesight of falls. Trails are easy to hike. Late summer was the best weather in Oregon. Would come again!

This parking lot for Multnomah Falls exits off the the left of Interstate 84, the lot looks big but during the summer and Beautiful weather in spring and fall it's full easily. There are gates that close when lot is at capacity. On my recent visit there was plenty of parking when I arrived but when I left it was half full and tour busses had arrived. This is the preferred parking area when coming to Multnomah Falls for a hike, meal at the lodge or just to snap a photo of one of Oregon's most popular tourist hiking locations.During the Summer there is timed entry to the parking lot and the main side roads to the Columbia River Gorge.

Plenty of parking. Just remember that it s summer so everything gets packed FAST. I went at 3pm on a Saturday and got parking at the end of the parking lot. Just be patient and remember you need a pass and they do check at the entrance. Pass is only $2 and it s timed. Parking is free. Love the fact that you see the fall from the parking lot

Beautiful falls and not too too busy at this time of year. Make sure to go to the I-84 parking lot as it s the largest and the other one was full most of the day.Can make it up to the bridge with a stroller if you have an extra set of hands for a few small staircases but the rest of the climb is an easy paved incline but the best view is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers!!

Easy left hand exit westbound headed towards the communist city of Portland. Mother nature had it in for us this day as the winds were howling though the valley. Stunning views for easy stop. It can get crowded, so don't get your hopes up for finding a spot.

They started a program for reserving a time for this parking lot and won t allow people to go. Charging people to see a National landmark should be a crime. It STARTED THE DAY I COME HERE . What luck . I hope they lose visitors from this

This has to be the highest convenience to beauty ratio in the state of Oregon. Unfortunately, Multnomah Falls now requires a reservation to visit, which really ruins the spontaneity of pretty much every time I ve stopped here.

Really nice view of the falls and hike. Not too difficult but it gets steep at times.

I highly recommend using this parking lot if the Multnomah Falls gets very crowded. There are plenty of parking spaces here and it was a quick walk away from the Falls. The only downside is you will have to drive onto I-84 to get to this parking.

I've been to the falls during every season and weather conditions. I have never been disappointed. In the gorge right out my backdoor. Great place to kill an hour or 4

You can only part your vehicle here but to go to the falls, you need to have a prior reservation to cross the underpass or have a reservation at the hotel. They charge you a fee to cross the underpass during 9 AM and 5 PM.Alternatively you can park near the falls. But have to wait in the line to get a free spot. So plan ahead.

The great state of Oregon decided that's it's best to charge people entry into nature. Charging entry and limiting how many can come. Tickets were sold out when I got here. It's disgusting how the government can charge for nature.

This is located off the I84 highway. You need to book one-hour timed slots online for 2$ to park here. You are allowed to book up-to two slots per day. This lot is big but it can get filled up so easily. From the lot take the tunnel under the highway to get to the falls.

Once you see the sign says closed , simply just hop on the freeway and go the opposite exit . Simple is that . It was a phenomenal experience!

Park on the lower level; the lot close to the visitor center is always crowded and getting a spot to park is all up to chance.

You gotta pay to go to the fall, but you can see it from the parking lot. Also, I heard that on top of paying to get in the coffee and snacks at the Caf is extremely overpriced.Putting a price on scenery, that shouldn't be allowed.

Large paved parking lot. Parking is free. On a nice spring weekday lot was nearly full around noon. The falls are visible from the parking lot. Tour buses were in the lot, but they appear to have small groups on foot, so they didn't appear to have much impact. No restrooms at lot but flush toilets are available at the lodge. A tunnel under the eastbound highway takes you to lodge and trailhead. The trails are mostly paved, but pavement is poorly maintained, leaving potholes an uneven surfaces. Be prepared for mist if you walk to the bridge viewing area. The pavement gets worse as you climb. The trails are narrow with steep drops on the side. Dogs are allowed but can be problematic on the narrow trails. Fairly busy for a weekday. I would expect large crowds on nice weekends. Lodge area has a theme park feel. See my review of lodge for details.

Great area to hike a little and see the water fall and Columbia River. I went to visit at the end of May and the water flow was heavy (its been nonstop raining since winter). You can award yourself at the end of your descend with some ice cream, they have chocolate, vanilla and a combo swirl.

Ample space, well thought with a priceless view of the falls for those who can't walk to the Falls itself. Got a nice underpass to the highway for safety with a clear brook beside it.

We stopped here on a weekday at roughly 9pm after hiking in the Mt Hood area. Still nice in the dark and had no issues parking and then walking under neath the bridge to access the falls/giftshop area. Very accessible, I recommend trying some other hikes in the area if you have the full day!

Beautiful place. Well maintained. Glad we stopped. It's just off the freeway. Parking is in the middle of the freeway, unless you exit earlier and use the frontage road. Then you walk under the East bound lane to get there. There is a building with souvenirs and food at the bottom.

Parking lot requires reservations at certains times in the year. Normally very busy when weather is good.

The most disgusting place in Oregon. We spent 1 hour to find a parking spot, then the staff told us the daily permit is SOLD OUT. Why don t you put a sign at the entrance????
