Absolutely amazing stay at Ocean Lodge! I m not sure where to begin because all parts of our stay was lovely. So much so that we extended our stay. The hotel-lodge is absolutely beautiful. Upon checking in, we heard the crackling of the fireplace in the main lobby. It was such a wonderful, welcoming sound. The hotel-lodge is decorated beautifully and super cozy. There are multiple places throughout the property for one to relax and read a book.There were quite a few surprises that I did not expect as a guest: endless salt water taffy, GOOD snacks, bottled water, continental breakfast Let me stop right there and say there s nothing continental about the breakfast, you re going to get full nightcap. Some might say, it s on their website. Honestly, I booked this hotel because of the proximity to the beach and the ocean views from the room. That s it that s all! And let me tell you the reason why I booked did not disappoint. The view from my room was amazing! At night, I could hear the crashing of the waves. The accommodations inside the room were comfortable and relaxing. The shower, absolutely AWESOME! It has a jet that shoots water at the small of your back. Every time I showered I got a massage. AMAZING!!If you stay here, you WILL NOT be disappointed. The accommodations, staff and amenities are lovely and well worth the price. Looking forward to returning.Rooms: Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was nice with good bath products. Several blankets to cover up in the evening while watching a movies under the fireplace.Food & drinks: Continental breakfast was good and had a lot of variety for various diets. The happy hour and small bites was a welcoming addition in the evening.Noteworthy details: Extensive DVD selection to watch movies in your room. Treats and snacks to enjoy.

Staying at The Ocean Lodge was an absolute delight! From the immaculately clean rooms to the luxurious touch of crisp white robes and slippers, every detail was thoughtfully curated for a perfect stay. The highlight was definitely the super modern shower with multi facets, providing a spa-like experience right in the comfort of the room. And let's not forget the breathtaking view of Haystack Rock, which added an extra layer of serenity to the entire experience. Overall, The Ocean Lodge exceeded all expectations, making it a top choice for anyone seeking a memorable and luxurious coastal getaway. Great morning breakfast and organic coffee!

Where do I even start with how wonderful this place was? Seeing the sunset from our balcony, the quality of the beach, the view of haystack walk, walking to haystack rock during low tide to see tide pools, everything! Also the place is incredibly thoughtful around people traveling with children or pets; they have complimentary snacks, toy buckets, and tennis balls The rooms had everything we needed and the hotel staff were all kind and helpful. We'll be back again and even longer next time!

Thank you to the wonderful staff at The Ocean Lodge for creating such a magical weekend for our family of four! From the stunning views of the ocean from our hotel window, the complimentary nightly wine reception and nightcap, the large selection of movie rentals (we rented a movie each night!), the gracious amount of snacks for the kids and unending supply of Sleepy Monk coffee for the adults, the heated bathroom floors (omg!) and one of the most spectacular continental breakfasts we have ever seen our stay was perfection from beginning to end! We were happy to find that a 25 min walk down the coast placed us at the quaint downtown shops of Cannon Beach and we timed the walk just right to be able to explore the tide pools near haystack rock. We cannot say enough about our stay here and are scheming to make a long-weekend stay at The Ocean Lodge an annual family tradition!

The door to the master bedroom didn't lock and no door for the shower. The grill was really rusty and dirty. There were no spices available only a little bit of salt and pepper. The view on the other hand is amazing! Oh and if you buy groceries expect to carry them to the third floor. Lots of stairs . Boy did we get our work out. It was very convenient to just walk outside on to the beach. Thank you! I really enjoyed staying there with my daughter 3 grandkids and my son. I would definitely recommend it! For the owner it would be nice just to have a little bit of spices available. Just a thought. Thank you. I came back to Idaho and let my friends know. They're already thinking about making a trip out there someday. I know they will enjoy it as much as we did. Thank you for sharing this with us! God bless you.Rooms: The master bedroom has the best view of the ocean. But doors don't lock and no door to the shower only to the bathroom. So if you are showering and someone pushes the doors to the room and then they will see you. Other than that the other room is good.Nearby activities: You can walk the mini strip stores. They have a little playground walking distance. You can walk into the beach from the backyard.Safety: I felt very safe.Walkability: Lots of room to walk.Food & drinks: No food or drinks at the house. But everything is close by or walking distance.Noteworthy details: We really enjoyed our vacation there. I hope someday we can go back again. Thank you so much, from Idaho.

We love staying here because even when there are issues, they work to resolve them.We had a nutty experience with the jetted tub which decided it needed to turn on at 10 pm and keep flushing out the tubes with air for half an hour. When it couldn't be fixed easily, we were quickly moved to a new room and later we found out that we were actually credited a significant portion of the room rate. They didn't tell us they were going to do that, it was just a given and they didn't ask us to write about it. But we have to because this is why we'll go back and pay their rates, because they provide exceptional service!

My fianc� planned to propose in cannon beach this past weekend and we stayed here at the ocean lodge.The rooms were fantastic but the customer service was exceptional. Truly I have never had such a wonderful stay at another hotel! From the complimentary car service to the room decoration after the proposal they really do think of everything!

We had such a wonderful Anniversary at this beautiful lodge! The room was beautiful and spacious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The extras breakfast, wine tasting, anniversary treat were worth at least 5 MORE stars . We will come back and recommend to everyone!Rooms: Beautiful with fireplace, luxurious shower and balconyNearby activities: Right next to a beautiful beach and Seaside was just minutes away

Perfect Fall Getaway - November in Cannon Beach can vary from constant rain, wind and clouds to a stunning sunset and afterglow over the Pacific ocean. The Ocean Lodge team makes relaxation enjoyable and just what's needed before the businiess of the holidays. Wonderful to marvel at His creation, the waves are soothing and Haystack Rock is right there!

My first stop on my first trip to Oregon - and all i can think is why didn't i come sooner and when can I come back. The location is amazing right on the beach with amazing views of Haystack Rock. There is so much to do in the area - hike to crescent beach was a favorite. But this hotel really was incredible from the evening wine service to setting up a fire for us outside to the free snacks and infused water. Also appreciate how they reached out before and asked if I wanted to think about yoga or other reservations - by the way did beach yoga with Cannon Beach Yoga Arts which was just perfect too and probably would not have researched it on my own if The Ocean Lodge did not suggest it. Also love how they will text you when your room is ready so you can check-in early. Just so many extras - truly wonderful.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Ocean Lodge. Great location, room was comfortable and the staff was excellent. A shout out to Daniel who helped us when our rental car had a tire issue and had to be towed. He offered to have one of the maintenance staff drive us to Astoria to get a different rental car. Excellent customer service!! The beautiful sunsets and the visiting elk also added to our visit. I would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to Cannon Beach.

Stayed here for 2 nights - partial king ocean front view. The view was perfectly adequate for us.Rooms: spotless. all amenities. comfy beds. perfectLocation: on the beach. cant ask for moreStaff: probably the nicest we have come across during our travels.Food: Breakfast included.Was delicious. Way better than a standard Marriot. And Old Monk coffee! Free snacks, water and amazing house baked cookies!Cant recommend this place enough. Hope to be back!

This was our second stay at the Ocean Lodge and we absolutely love this place. Our room had a great view of the ocean and was quite comfortable. The staff was all wonderful and so responsive to all of our needs. It is a beautiful, elegant and yet quaint lodge that takes pride in providing a relaxing and warm environment for all of the guests. We will definitely be coming back here and I highly recommend this place when planning a visit to Cannon Beach.

Fantastic stay at this cozy homey lodge on the beach. Best location right on canon beach and steps away from haystack rock. There are a ton of rabbits that live in the back patio area which is nice.Staff is super accommodating and put together a great breakfast and night cap service. Also helped us start a fire on the beach. Would definitely come back and stay again.

What an amazing vacation my husband and I had in Cannon Beach at the Ocean Lodge. We did a last minute reservation and probably snagged the last room they had available. Their complimentary breakfast every morning was *incredible*. They had something different everyday and it was delicious. Scrambled eggs and sausage, cheese omelets, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit and yogurt, boiled eggs, oatmeal, cereals, delicious local coffee. We REALLY enjoyed our breakfast time lol!! We were also super impressed with the complimentary wine and cheese/olives/cured meats served from 4-6 daily. They served a very lovely Oregon Pinot Noir; it just really impressed us as many hotels would not offer so much. In addition, they had full sized complimentary snacks that we took advantage of before a long hike. Just another very thoughtful touch you just don t find anywhere really. One night, we purchased some wood and a fire starter kit and had a fire on the beach during sunset. It was absolutely dreamy as we sat there listening to tunes, having a nice brew from a local brewery, and soaking up the view of Haystack Rock. Lastly, the room was very comfortable and the shower, well, that was other worldly. I d come back just for that multi-head shower. I am so happy we decided to change up our vacation to Oregon last minute because it was wonderful escaping the 105 degree heat from Texas. We sure would love to come back and get an ocean view room next time. Thanks to everyone there for providing such great service too - we simply did not want to leave and wished we had stayed longer than 3 nights.

Thank you so much for making our vacation one to remember. Our first time to the Oregon coast - it was truly wonderful. The staff were amazing, the property and rooms were everything we could have hoped for and more. We loved the extras - breakfast, snacks, sand buckets, evening nightcap and wine. My children have already asked when can we come back! Thanks again. Definitely the only place to stay when visiting cannon beach and the surrounding areas.

I found this place to be very beautiful. It s situated on the beach just perfectly, and has more rooms (without a ocean view)behind the main lodge.We stayed in 1 of the buildings without an ocean view, and were still very satisfied. The ocean is just a few steps from your room. They give their guests snacks, fresh cookies, and trinkets. I think little thoughtful things like that make such a big impact on your stay. They also give you a postcard to mail home. I took advantage and mailed 1 to my loved one back home. They got a kick out of it. Win/Win!The breakfast is complimentary and is fresh and tasty! You typically don t get a free breakfast in high dollar lodges like this, so I found that to be a perk staying there as well.1 thing to note:The unit that we stayed in behind the main lodge only had fans in the rooms. No a/c units.The climate here is most of the time worthy of a fan only BUT while we were there the temperature was in the upper 80 s and we were on the 3rd floor. It was an oven when we got there and was difficult to get the room cooled down. After addressing our concerns with the front desk, they said that they can bring in a portable a/c unit if necessary. We opted for a 2nd fan and made it through our short stay (2 nights). If we were staying longer I definitely would ve needed thea/c.

I am never stayed anywhere except for the Ocean lodge in Cannon Beach. There's something so special with making you and your pets feel welcomed. The personal touches, the welcoming and friendly staff, impeccable grounds- we really felt the love. You've won us and our 4 legged family members over! Customers for life!Noteworthy details: Fresh cookies, a welcome board with our pups names on it, Fresh flavored water, fire service, wine service

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Lodge. During our staff the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and willing to assist. We enjoyed the complimentary amenities and cocktail hour (a nice touch). The cleanliness of rooms and maintenance was well done- especially for the age of the lodges. The only thing I would have liked to see is more privacy on the patio- as it is currently open and you can see your neighbor next door. Would recommend and return.

Our family stayed there for one night with ocean view room in this amazing and beautiful lodge. We had great experience there. The staffs are so nice, helpful and thoughtful. Lots of candies and snacks are always provided at the reception and corner of the lobby. We will definitely come back to visit this place soon!! Thank you for doing everything for us!!!

Location, Location, Location .Wow!!Wow What a Fantastic Location!!! The Lodge is Absolutely Beautiful and the View of the Ocean is Amazing!!! We walked the beach several times a day and saw something different each time!! Timing was Perfect for us .very few people on the beach!! You can even get firewood from the front desk to make a fire on the beach ..it s Soooooo Relaxing!!!The House-keeping Staff is Extremely Cordial and Efficient. Daily Service was Perfect!!! The Breakfast Hostess, Melay, was Outstanding!!! She Greeted ALL Guests with a Bright Smile and made sure they had everything they needed for the morning!!! She went out of her way to make the breakfast special!! The Evening Wine Hostess was also Amazing!! Very Polite, Professional and Great Personality!! Now Please Do Not Judge the Lodge by their Weekend/Evening Reception Staff. We have visited Ocean Lodge numerous times but this time We were Very Disappointed in Their, and their Supervisors Interactions with Us. We Missed the Warm Welcome and Hospitality that the Ocean Lodge is known for. Hopefully It Will Return Soon!!!!!!!

It was our first time traveling to the Oregon coast and my husband surprised me by booking our room at The Ocean Lodge. Let me start by saying we will be staying here every time we return! The location, the hotel, the staff were all amazing!! We had the best time walking the beach every morning, and having coffee on our gorgeous patio. The staff were so helpful and kind, and the rooms were immaculate. We really enjoyed the night caps and the Sleepy Monk coffee. There were baby bunnies all around the grass areas (they were super cute) and we fell asleep to the ocean waves from our room. It was incredible and we cannot wait to stay again! Continental breakfast was delicious and parking was plenty even with the summer crowds over the weekend. We had dinner next door at The Stephanie Inn and it was amazing! This place was breaktaking and I can't say enough about the hotel and service. Can't forget to mention the cookies and free snacks! Thank you Ocean Lodge for an unforgettable experience! I was sad to leave!

Such a lovely stay. Pet friendly rooms that open directly to the beach. So many complimentary extras really take this hotel to the next level. Snacks, movies, evening wine, Port and chocolates delivered to your room plus an amazing breakfast. Rabbits on the lawn for endless entertainment for the pups! Can't wait to stay here again!

We could not have picked a more perfect place to stay! Spick and span rooms with a dreamy shower and comfy bed made coming back after adventuring and tide pooling so much easier. We took advantage of the deck and the fireplace during our stay. Our kids loved the breakfast room and all the offerings highlights were the coffee cake, the steel cut oatmeal bar and sometimes there is pie (so perfectly boujee). We spent some time in the cozy library area and loved that. The location so close to Haystack Rock can t be beat perfect and charming place to stay.Nearby activities: Lots of shops close early in Cannon Beach (think 4,5,6) so check times before going out. Hug Point and the bookstore downtown were big hits with our family.

Came down for our anniversary without a plan or reservations. Without asking they gave us a tour of the different rooms and let us pick the one we liked best. Got it ready for us while we checked out the town and came back to a nice anniversary gift.Staff all really friendly. Very clean place. Right on the beach making it easy to walk right to Haystack Rock.Will definitely want to visit agai.

We love the Ocean Lodge, they are hospitable and welcoming, they even had a welcome sign and treats for our dog. This is such a relaxing environment, from walking the beach, to the yummy breakfast to the evening bonfire on the beach. We are so excited to return for Christmas, I ve heard the lodge is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere is festive!

We stayed for the first time and there were a few good things and a few not so good things.We loved the newly remodeled room with heated bathroom floors. The bed and pillows were very comfy. However, the shower did not have enough hot water for the two of us and there was an annoying repetitive tapping sound from the ceiling that kept us up. I mentioned these to the front desk as I was checking out and she seemed to already know that the tapping was an issue. I would have liked to know that before deciding to book this room. Love that it s dog friendly, though! The staff was very pleasant, and room seemed very clean.

This was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had at a hotel! From the second we walked through the door, the entire staff was accommodating, kind, and wonderful to work with. The lodge itself was dressed so sweetly so Christmas that it felt like we had walked into the inn of a Hallmark Christmas movie. The hotel is right on the beach, so the views from every floor are just incredible! Easy beach access along with cute chairs set up for sunset viewing and lots of little bunnies roaming the lawns. And the complimentary goodies kept us feeling spoiled throughout our stay! In addition to the lovely complimentary breakfasts, they also offer free glasses of wine around sunset (great selection!) as well as port, chocolate, and apple cider brought to right to your room later in the evening, and fresh cookies and baskets of microwave popcorn and candies available to grab whenever. And I truly mean it when I say the staff was just amazing! Everyone there is incredibly friendly, and go above and beyond with their jobs; I had so many amazing interactions with the staff members in the short time I was there, from the awesome folks at the front desk to the house keepers to the super sweet woman serving the port in the evening. I've never had such great interactions with the staff at a hotel before, I would honestly come back just for the service! The whole environment was so warm and inviting, the staff was truly incredible, access to downtown and great nearby restaurants was fantastic, and the adorable Christmas decorations were just so festive and fun. We had an amazing time at the Ocean Lodge - we may never stay anywhere else in Cannon Beach! Thank you Ocean Lodge for the wonderful experience!
