The Lighthouse Inn has several little hotel locations, but where we stayed was Cozy, had very clean rooms with gas heated fireplace and a combination lock entry so no key card. Within a 10-minute walking distance of the beach with a great view of Haystack Rock, and a few other big stones out in the ocean along this stretch of white sand on the Oregon coast. At the south end of town there is a Mo's chowder, moderately priced ($15-$25) and good eating.Note there is no gas station in town, but there is a campground that has gas.

Great place. Parking is tight if you drive a full-size truck. Other than that, it was a great experience.Walkability: The hotel was 2 blocks from the beach, Haystack. Close to restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

Such a great experience! Very friendly staff. Our room was huge, had a fireplace, and was immaculate! We loved the kitchenette stocked with lots of clean dishes, a microwave, and a hot plate. I was extremely impressed with the elaborate complimentary breakfast! The hotel offers free dvd rentals and complimentary microwaveable popcorn! The room comes with a bag of saltwater taffy, and you ll be offered freshly baked cookies on check-in. Hotel is located a couple blocks from the beach. The only negative was the water pipes are in the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom, so every time the upstairs unit used water (sink, shower, toilet flush), you d hear it. It s a little loud but it didn t bother us too much. We really enjoyed our stay and were quite sad to leave. I m looking forward to our next stay here!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the night, it was amazing! The room was super spacious and homey, didn't even feel like a hotel. Beach was about a five minute walk and the area is gorgeous. Staff was courteous and nice. The free coffee and amazing cookies were a serious plus. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Great location, small parking lot, room space is definitely adequate for my family. The bed was too stiff for my liking, but my wife likes it. We didn't stay in the room much but it was comfortable. The heated bathroom is a lovely touch. Wish we could stay longer, but it's time to head back home.

Wont be going back if I had to sleeper sofa. Personally I have never experienced a harder bed ,we maybe slept 2 hours . The bed in bedroom was also very firm ( hhmm maybe the furniture purchaser had a personal preference for this, but most good hotels do not ) The other aspects of hotel were INCREDIBLE, the cleanliness, the staff was so very helpful and kind, breakfast was outstanding, provisions wonderful , ( 5 stars for everything else,) you go to the beach for rest and relaxation, sorry just have to be truthful , notice many others say the same thing.

The rooms are average size and very clean. I found the bed uncomfortable and pullout sofa bed more comfortable than the regular bed in the bedroom. The room comes with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, hot plate, and dishes but no sink other than the bathroom. The Jacuzzi tub was nice and the location in midtown, close to Haystack rock was great. The property is right on the main road. I had to have the shutters down all the time for privacy on the ground floor. Pets are allowed here. The customer service at the office is great. They offer cookies and coffee throughout the day, sand buckets for the kids, and an extensive DVD and game library for checkout.

Clean, convenient and quiet location, just fine. Some maintenance needed but nothing serious, e.g. fridge shelves, self in bathroom loose/missing screw. The check-in is about 1.5 miles south (away from the downtown area) at a sister hotel making the breakfast and some of their other amenities (free coffee, DVDs, cookies) a bit inconvenient. If you need business amenities look elsewhere or make other arrangements (mobile data?) as wifi is much too slow for a Zoom meeting or anything more than email and casual web browsing. Keep in mind there is no AC but cool breeze off the ocean keeps things reasonable. There is a kitchenette but not useful for more than a quick snack as the sink is too small to wash dishes... not sure why the tiny sink was chosen as it seems the counter could accommodate a larger one.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our suite was nice and updated. It was pretty clean, but the glass shower door was a bit hazy toward the bottom. The corners had dust and crumbs like they hadn't been vacuumed in a while. But the overall experience was very good.

Room fit our needs. Staff was great. Couch bed was comfortable. Breakfast was very good, combination of hot foods and fruits, cereals, yogurt, muffins, it was very good. Kitchen is in room for extended stays, nice to fix meals. Needed more counter space around bathroom sink.

I didn't realize that you check in at the sister property "Inn at Cannon Beach." We did not have a car and were concerned about getting to and from the two locations. The staff were able to help us with check in and transportation to breakfast in the morning. The room was clean and comfortable. The lighthouse Inn is a great location it's walking distance to the bus stop, market, and several restaurants. Plus the beach is just across the street and walking distance to haystack rock. I highly recommend.

Large, clean room with a nice kitchenette. Very close to all the Cannon Beach fun. Staff was attentive and cordial. Bed was a bit firm, but that is likely down to taste.

Absolutely loved it.This hotel is within walking distance from the cannon beach..we parked our car in the hotel parking and visited beach area multiple times..The breakfast served had good choices to choose fromIt's little expensive but highly recommend it.

Clean, classic and tasteful accommodations! Great location not far from the beach and restaurants within walking distance. Only downfall was the included breakfast was 5 miles away at a different location. Definitely would stay again though!

Let's start with the bed... People come to cannon beach to see big rocks, not to sleep on one!No, but really, the mattresses are awful. Luckily for us the sofa bed was MUCH more comfortable.The staff was hit and miss with the friendliness, the two ladies who work the front desk were not very nice.Anytime we had a question their answers had a very rude tone.(One with really short hair and one who's a little older)The only time they were nice is when we checked-out.I did not feel welcomed at all.The lady who runs the breakfast buffet was so nice, and so was one named Debbie (I think?).My husband and I stayed two nights at the lighthouse Inn, and I can happily say I won't ever return.We felt singled out by the staff for no real reason. Too excited about the bunnies maybe? Haha. No, I don't really know.Our first baby free vacation to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we both couldn't wait to leave.We love cannon beach and visit quite frequently, I was very excited to try the lighthouse Inn. It's very cute, and well decorated. On the property where you have the free continental breakfast (about 1.5 miles away)Wild bunnies run around, if you have carrots they will come up to you.It's the best thing ever! :)

Pros: Very clean, plenty of hot water, convenient location, very close to beach, parking right outside your door. Lots of windows. Nice updated decor. Comfortable sleeper-sofa. Free wifi, movies, beach chairs. Friendly staff. Kitchenette includes dishes, hot-plate, fridge, and other necessities. Lots of windows, nice blinds, opening windows brings a nice ocean breeze in. Pet-friendly.Cons: No sink in kitchenette. Queen bed was so-so. No A/C (windows are good, but hard to climate control overall.) VERY thin walls. No place outside to wash off the dog or my feet after the beach.I would stay hear again, but only for 1 night. I would look elsewhere for longer-term stays.

Very spacious rooms, kitchenette was stocked with everything you could ask for. Huge living room and nice sized bedroom. Plenty of space. Will be going here again!!

The room we stayed in was clean and we enjoyed our stay! The front desk staff was very helpful and suggested a fire on the beach as well as having wood and chairs available! We had a great time having a fire on the beach at night!

Clean, comfy place to stay.The kitchen has a lot of different utensils including vine glasses.The negative thing is you need to drive to the another hotel for check in and for the breakfast.

Conveniently located half way between the downtown area and haystack rock, not much of a beach view but my 4yo loved watching the cars drive down the main thorouhgfare. Parking spot was assigned but also labeled "compact" and was not practical for our vehicle size.Didn't appreciate finding sand in the sheets upon check-in. But the free BBQ lunch for guests and employees just before that was appreciated (and may explain the less than perfect room turn-over)

It was a last minute vacation for labor day and this little cozy place did not disappoint. Close enough to walk to the beach with a beautiful balcony. It had all the kitchen needs to cook there, yet close enough to walk to restaurants. I will be coming back!

Great place with great amenities. Total adorable and easy access to the beach. They did forget to put regular coffee in our room but it was fine.

My stay was actually good, but i didn't like that they didn't check me out earlier because room service was not available till next day. I suggest they dedicate at least one person to do that. Otherwise the staff were friendly, and the property was clean.

Paper thin walls and having to drive 3 miles down the road for check-in is annoying. Fix those and it would be a 5 star. But staff Is nice and they have chair, game and movie rentals if you feel like staying in, also has 2mb wifi.

Room was clean and roomy, walking distance to downtown Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock, and the ladies at the front desk were super informative and gave us lots of suggestions. We will be staying here again!
