I rented a cabin for 4 days for my grandma who is 89 , my dad and his girlfriend . They had a wonderful time . Very peaceful , super Clean , very spacious. It had 2 bedrooms with huge beds and a 3rd bedroom with 2 sets of bunk beds so plenty of room for everyone . Tina was our host and she was always available and very helpful for anything we needed . She went out of her way to make sure my family was Happy and comfortable. She made them feel right at home . Thank you Tina

The cabin is amazing and the staff was very friendly. Any time we needed anything they were more then willing to help out. We also got plenty of privacy so that wasn't a problem either. The rooms were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked with plates pans and such. The setting was beautiful and there are so many things to see and do that in one weekend we couldn't get to them all. I am for sure going to stay here again.

Was here from Friday the 15th until check out today and it was so amazing. Beautiful place. Plenty of beds. I used the bottom half of a bunk bed and it was way more comfortable than I would have thought. We had planned to do some sight seeing and what not but it was so relaxing at the cabin that we just stayed in all weekend. Our cabin had a full kitchen with pots and pans and other kitchen wear so we didn't have to worry about that. I definitely plan on another vacation there soon!

Review is for Bike Shuttle. The resort was lost in the 2020 fires, but Chris seemed hopeful for a rebuild. The shuttle was perfect! Communication scheduling the shuttle was easy and prompt. The van picked us up from our lodging in McKenzie Bridge and drove us to the start of hwy 242 in Sisters. Another couple was picked up at the start of the McKenzie River TH and dropped off half way up. Chris offered info on local spots and current local events. Help support this recovering fire damaged business and book the shuttle!

Absolutely beautiful, accommodation were fantastic! Cabins are large rooms are comfortable, the bunk rooms were really cool and great for our large group. The river was easy to walk down to and the area was simply wonderful, I can't wait to go back!!

Stopped here on a quick vacation looping through all the different hotsprings in the area. This was a very pleasant stop. Clean rooms with plenty of space and great outdoor sitting areas. No one was at the front desk when we arrived, but we did a bit of exploring and found someone who helped us check in.

This place is not pet friendly. It's small dog friendly.I spent about a day considering this place, researching the area, looking over the pet policy. I decided to book a room, and noticed that there is a note on the online reservation form that there is a 40 lb weight limit for dogs. This is not mentioned on the actual pet policy. This resort wasted my time and efforts. Now I have to find a place that will welcome my 60 lb dog.Make your policies clear on the actual policy page. I would have spent about $500 on a cabin less than a week from the reservation date, and now it will probably remain empty on those dates because of an asinine weight limit.

What a quaint beautiful setting!! A darling resort tucked back in the forest.. beautiful landscaping, clean rooms, little winding trails along the beautiful Mackenzie river.. the only thing we noticed was a bit of mold on the shower curtain. Everything else was 5-star!

This is a great place and absolutely loved the cabin (Old Ranger Home). The front desk guy (Chris) was really great to us when we arrived. He suggested us few waterfalls around (Proxy Falls, Saheli Falls and Koosah Falls) which were not on our to do list and turned out to be the best part of our Oregon trip. The cabin was clean and comfy. Washrooms are common but very clean. EXCELLENT SERVICE!

Only stayed 1 night during a week road trip but what a contrast to typical hotel accommodations. This seemed more like a thoughtfully done guest house - and that was the lodge. Quiet and secluded. Hosts were friendly and genuine. Mid week rates are very reasonable online. Highly recommended.

It's right off the highway, you can hear and smell the river. The area is nice and wooded. Parking was plentiful and the room was clean, cozy, and well equiped. The innkeeper was very helpful and gave me directions over the phone.

I did the shuttle to the O'Leary trail one day and the shuttle to the McKenzie river trail the next. The drivers were super helpful and informative as it was my first time to central Oregon mountain biking. I was warned to avoid riding up castle Rock trail but i did it anyway. The view of the valley from the top was worth it (see picture). The last section after Castle Rock was downhill fun. I wish i could ride this trail every day because it's got a little of everything.

I got a quick and efficient lift to the start of the MRT from Paradise campground. Chris came and picked me up there and also took the time to show me the specifics of the trial closure between Trailbridge Reservoir and Deer Creek. Super nice guy trying to keep things going after the 2020 fires. Help him out and book a shuttle

This place is off the main road,so you don't have to hear and deal with a lot of traffic. It was nice and quiet all day and night. The room we stayed in had t.v.,mini frig, micro wave and coffee marker (pod style),wifi, hair dryer.Had A/C and a fireplace look heater.Lots of space to store your things.People at the desk where vary nice and helpful. There was parking right in front and in the back has a parking lot.

What a joke of a place! It's an old US forest service station that is still in about the same condition when the forest service sold the place and asking way to much a night on rates. I'm sorry, but if you call a place a resort and only offer mountain biking and shuttle services and don't even have a single hot tubs to let the visitors soak their bodies after a good walk or bike. You got to be kidding me! If you are reading this, I would suggest to find a resort just down the road with better rates and cleaner rooms with service.

Great service!!! In Eugene for a family wedding and was able to squeeze in a mountain bike ride in the morning. I just needed a bike and some tips on the McKenzie trail. The MR Mountain Resort had everything I needed. Set me up with a Kona bike and pointed me to the Deer Creek trail head. Great strech of trail winding through the forest not to difficult with moderate pedaling. Thanks again for the terrific service!!!!

We utilized McKenzie River Mountain Resort Bike Shuttle service twice on our recent adventure to Oregon (MRT and Hwy 242 to Sisters) as well as for the MRT a couple years ago. Chris and Mike are awesome shuttle drivers - friendly, professional, on time. They were also very accommodating with us when we rearranged plans due to weather...twice! They are top notch and I will hire them again on my next visit.

We came up for a weekend from Portland to enjoy the hot springs and just get away. It was a bit off season so we had more or less the whole place yo ourselves but oyr room had a private entrance so it would not have mattered. We had one of the rooms b of the converted ranger station and it was great. The king bed was comfy, netflix came standard and tgere was a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The heater/fireplace made it perfect for our romantic little get away. Toiletries not provided. Great olace to get away and have good acceas to the surrounding nature.

Really cute room and beautiful property. The hosts were really nice. The only drawbacks were that they didn't service our room, the walls were thin and we did not have a view of the river

Had my bachelor party here and went amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Provide excellent bikes and shuttle service. Would only consider this resort in the Mckenzie river area.

Stayed here for three nights and it was great. Very cozy and quiet. If you want a place to go and escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this is the place. Chris is very helpful and knowledgeable of the area.

Reserved a teepee, which apparently had torn the night before but the facility didn't call to notify. Was first mistakenly shown a room that was under construction. Second room shown was a "bunk" room with 3 bunk beds and a family/employee TV that was currently been stored in there, covered in bed sheets. This bunk room had a less than desirable shared living room area and bathrooms, much different than the more private teepee and outdoor area we thought we would be enjoying. We declined the room and were very disappointed in the lack of organization and management there... we will not be coming back.

Logistics was a little difficult at beginning. But the guys were very nice and informative and made sure everything went smoothly for us during our bike ride down the McKenzie river trail.

We rented mountain bikes from here. Need to make reservations in advance to ensure enough shuttle space to reach the McKenzie River Trail.
