Excellent service!! Their team has great customer service on the phone (yes, they talk to you!). I had cracked a vent window for my 1959 Willys utility wagon 3 days before a show that I was trying to make. They got 2 of them out immediately as well shaving an 1/8 inch of the edge to better fit my application. It fit perfect and I made it to the show. The rest of the glass fit and looks perfect!

One of the top 5 worst businesses I've ever had to deal with in my life. I placed an order in May for a set of classic car glass, and here we are 4 months later and they haven't even shipped the glass out the door. Every single time I've called to inquire, I've been LIED to that it would ship within the week. Their customer service gives me the impression they're nothing but a bunch of con men who want to take your money, make you believe you're getting a product, and then nothing.I don't know how anyone else has seen any shipment from them and why they deserve more than 1 star. If you are brave enough to try this business, make sure to use a credit card so you can get your money back, never use cash or a check!Service: Auto windshield replacement

I decided to call Bob's even after reading an unflattering review and I'm very glad I did. Reasonably priced parts for my '47 Cadillac Limo are hard to find and I thought glass would be the same. To my surprise I was wrong. I was able to get right through and talked directly to Bob who made the entire transaction as smooth as it could possibly be. After assuring me he could supply the 10 pieces, he informed me that he usedfactory accurate templates to cut and finish the glass. I picked up my order in 9 working days except for a small rubber part he ordered for me. I received that part in less than a week. In addition to the glass Bob gave me a seminar on the proper installation techniques. I would not hesitate to do business with Bob's in the future. Be very wary of ONE STAR REVIEWS!

First by saying the employees and especially the owner (Bob) are TOP NOTCH! I never experienced Kind ,Proffesional and go out of your way to help a customer! Long story short I had a issue with Ebay and not getting anywhere with Ebay by contacting pertaning issue with payment and refund. The owner Bob actually WENT out his way to Resolve this issue. I never had someone go out his way like he did ESPECIALLY dealing with Ebay. I will buy all his QUALITY GLASS going forward !!!!! Thank you , Bob for being a great company leader to rectify my Issue!!!!!!!!!!!

Was concerned about glass being shipped all the way from coast to coast. Bob assured us it wiell be well packed. The glass arrived as he promised. Now all new window's in 1930 Ford coupe. Great Guy!!

Needed back window for 1937 Packard. Initial call went well. Was told they had template, but it would help if I traced old window. We did, mailed it. Called to make sure it was received. Great people. Received new window July 3. Could not install because it was an 1/8th of an inch too big all around. Stuff happens. Called, talked to Joey who questioned dimensions and installation; recommended I send picture. Sent video that clearly shows discrepancy. Called back and Joey said to hold. Finally talked to Bob, namesake of the business. "What can we do about this," I said. "You could send a video that a human being could see," he said. "I'm no videographer," I responded. Bob then questioned (1) the installation, (2) the method of tracing and (3) my attitude, which was admittedly getting edgy after three phone calls and questions about my abilities and nothing about a possible mistake on their part. Said Bob: "looks like you used a Sharpie to trace it." I said we used a pen but he basically called me a liar....and more. Good customer relations this was not. If the tracing looked like it was done with a Sharpie, which it was not, they should have noticed when they used the template. And IF they thought it was a Sharpie -- meaning thicker lines than a pen -- then they should have worked toward the inside of the tracing. But the glass was cut a full 1/8th of an inch OUTSIDE the tracing, which was easy to see when you put the cut glass over the tracing, regardless of Bob's critique on video technique. Whatever. He reminded me multiple times I had a bad attitude, which was becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. He offered no way to mitigate the issue. I am out 175 dollars. I have collected, restored cars for five decades and feel a kinship to those in our community, which is why I went with Bob's Classic Auto Glass, even though it is in Oregon and I am in California. I'm going to assume Bob just had a bad day because his reputation is better than my one an only encounter with him. I gave it one star for the great treatment I received until Bob got on the phoneUpon further review, out of 50 reviews, Bob's has 10 that are one star and two that are only two star. That's more than 24 percent dissatisfied customers -- all due to bad customer service. Hard to understand how the overall rating is four stars. I bought glass from Bob's just alittle over a year ago before all this baloney of supply chain shortages started happening and effecting shipments of glass to his shop. Bob and the guys were professional and friendly. I stopped by his shop on the way back from vacation and met them in person. My experience was flawless. Turn around from order to delivery was great for the glass of my 35 Plymouth coupe, perfect. Good fair prices. I couldn't get a better price anywhere. Fast shipping, great packaging! Very happy, recommended.

Recently ordered glass for a 1937 chev truck , price was very reasonable and shipping much less than expected. Received items quickly even with me being on the east coast. Discovered minor problem with one item contacted Bob and arrangements were made immediately and item replace in days. Can't say enough about the excellent service and willingness to help. Highly recommended .

I purchased some parts from Bob for my 52 chevy pickup. I normally don't get parts from someone outside of California but I was recommended and I'm glad they recommended me. His customer service is amazing and his knowledge of the cars and services are amazing. I'm glad I found Bob because his services and support are suburb. This guy knows what you want before you even want it. So if you have a classic car or just need auto glass or parts call Bob.Dear Bob, expect more business from me and my friends from California.

I bought a windshield and the rubber gaskets that hold the windshield and the rear window glass in the car, for my 1955 Ford Customline.The windshield took a little longer than I expected, but it arrived in great shape.I didn't receive the rubber to hold the windshield in though.I called, and the guy gave me a delivery date. The date came and went. I called again, and got another delivery date. I actually thought that they were lost in the mail.After 2 months went by, from the date of the initial transaction, I called again.Bob answered the phone, and I explained the situation. He was a real nice guy. He said that he would get to the bottom of it. I was about to eat dinner, and he asked me to just give him a call back when I was finished.When I called back, he explained that the order was taken wrong, that the money collected was an amount for door glass, not rubber gaskets, and the employee was basically just being dumb.He apologized, sent out the rubber gaskets, and he ate the cost difference between what I had been charged, and the actual cost.Based on my experience with Bob's, I would buy from them again. Bob is a great guy, and has a wealth of knowledge that he is willing to share.

Worst experience ever! If I could give zero stars, I would. Long story: called to order windshield and flat glass for my project pickup, and wanted will call pickup to avoid shipping. I specified I wanted clear, not tinted green glass. Ok, they took my order and said flat glass would be ready in a week and windshield in a month. After a month of no word from Bob's, I call and they have no record of my order. Nothing has been ordered! Ok, we start the order again. Another month or two goes by, still no word on my glass, but my credit card has been charged with $750 from Bob's. I call and again the order hasn't been placed. They lost it again, somehow, but managed to charge my card. I call and talk to Bob and he's like "Oh man, we're really sorry, we don't know what happened. To make it up, we'll rush ship you the glass free of charge, in a week". He reviewed the order on the phone multiple times, but kept saying green tinted glass and I had to correct him three times that I wanted clear glass. I thought he finally got the message, and hung up assuming I'd get clear glass in a week. (My wife overheard the conversation on the phone and said "he's going to screw your order up"...she was right). A week later I get the glass. It's all green. Not clear. I call Bob and say the glass is green, I wanted clear. Bob goes ballistic. He accuses me of ordering green glass. F-bombs and so-on. My truck is red and yellow, so I don't want green glass, never did. Bob said he would order clear flat glass and I exchange the green glass for the clear. They've never called me that the clear glass is ready...it's been a month or two. WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER!

Ordered a full set of 1955 Oldsmobile Super 88 4 door glass, seals and everything needed to change them all out on my latest project. I worked with Jay Hastings who was personable, professional and worked very hard to make sure we ordered the right items for my car. He helped decode the VIN and locate the Body Tag! These are great people who care about their customers and I will be calling them again. I have order a windshield and mouldings It cost me more than $4000. They got their money and 10 months later I am still waiting. They have plenty of excuses and blame all other companies but themselves.... they say " I'll call you back tomorrow" and never do. They say its on it's way, and give you fake tracking numbers... if I had taken some of the reviews that I had read on here seriously, I would not be in this situation. This company is not a good one to deal with. I'm so angry with them

I ll never know because when they answer phone they tell you they are busy and will call you backI did this phone routine for several weeksOf course they never returned call . I was attempting to purchase 6 windows . I wouldn t deal with this company on a bet . I can t imagine what their response would be if you were attempting to return or adjust an order that was wrong . Read ALL the reviews! STAY AWAY...worst customer service ever! Called them 3x said they were busy and would call back. Emailed them 2x. Never contacted me. Found Auto City Classic and had my windshield ordered in 10 minutes and for less $$.

Bob's Classic Auto Glass said they had a windshield for my classic car. I ordered the windshield through my Installer & Ins. Co. My Installer received not one but two windshields he had to refuse due to Scratches on the Windshield, Severe Dust, and Finger Prints on not one but two windshields. Dust, Finger prints, & Scratches do not appear on a piece of glass during shipping. When approached about these issues "Bob" the Owner as he represented himself, admitted the problems on the first windshield, but admitted and said that the imperfection could be taken care of by the installer on the second windshield, then refused to shipa third windshield. When I asked Bob if he could send me a perfect windshield for my classic car he replied "NO" then threatened me that he would not ship me a windshield even with a credit card as I might dispute it. I had nothing to do with the refusal of the windshields, that all came from the installer. As a result Bob's left me the customer w/o a windshield for my classic car. Please, if you do business with this company inspect the windshield after shipping, and do not let Bob's leave you hanging like they did me.

Bob cheerfully provided advice to help install my 1955 Studebaker Pickup windshield. we followed the advice and in 30 minutes or so it was installed. That is in comparison of several hours of time and a broken windshield in the previous attempt to install the windshield. If you are installing classic auto glass I recommend Bob's Calssic Auto glass as your source and support for installing.
