This is my second time buying a car through a dealership and I will forever be buying cars through Volvo. Would not hesitate to buy a car here again. Handled the purchase of my GMC Denali 3500 mostly via the web and on the phone with Kyle. It was over and above great in providing all the answer and as many details as necessary to move the purchase forward.Also appreciate Zach's help with moving me through closing quickly and efficiently. He saw that every promise made was kept.It was well worth the plane ride and the hotel stayover.

We want to give a HUGE KUDOS to Zach!!He was AWESOME. We've been a long time customer service for our 2004 Volvo. Well, time and miles finally caught up to it rendering the repairs just shy of what it was worth and decided to give out on us right before Christmas. With that disappointment and not really knowing what to do since the cost of cars now a days are incredibly expensive to say the least and with a small idea of what we wanted in a replacement car(brand, amenities etc), wasn't expecting it that soon, and the reputation of car salesman in general, we winced in expectations to come but..... Zach REALLY stepped up to the plate for us, he definitely went out of his way, he then looked at our situation with the now dead car, what we had to work with which was not much, and the fact that it happened so suddenly right before Christmas, eased our concerns, did some research and found 3 vehicles which he felt matched our needs. We test drived all of them and settled on a Rav 4 which I had always wanted anyway and knew it was super reliable. But he left us alone and let us test drive it for a few hours where we did our research on the specifics of the car as well as ran errands. There was ZERO pressure to buy at any time during this whole process and he gave us an AMAZING PRICE. There was NOT the dreaded "4hr grind" that us old schoolers know about buying a car. We also got a top rated extended warranty that he discounted for us(we did research on the warranty company. Whole process took maybe an hour. Tops.. they even topped off the gas tank, got a car wash, and even took time to integrate my wife's phone into the car!!We left quite happy. THANK YOU ZACH!!

I have never had a bad experience with Volvo here in Bend- sales or service- and my most recent purchase was no exception! I was in a pinch to purchase a new vehicle before the end of the year but was hesitant to pull the trigger for a number of reasons. Everyone at Volvo was patient with my indecision, accommodating to my unique situation, and went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the car I chose, as well as made sure I got every discount available to me (Costco promo, loyalty discount, etc) even when I didn't ask. The sales manager Zach knew just what upgrades to throw in to make my new XC90 aesthetically pleasing. Despite expecting a wait, Chandler went out of his way to surprise me with the install of these add-ons before I picked up the car the very next day; and though he is a lowly a Beaver fan (haha), he even helped me transfer my ever important Ducks decal to my new rig. Kyle sat with me and helped me program my app and personalize my settings before I drove off the lot, a service I struggled with for the last two years with my previous XC90 purchased through a different Volvo location. And, once learning about my career working with kids/families, the new general manager Rob inquired about charitable services Volvo might be able to support in our local community and encouraged me to reach out if I could think of anything in the future. All in all, it was another incredible experience working with everyone at Volvo Bend. My only complaint is that I didn't get to use my stellar negotiation skills in this purchase- they made it just too easy. Thanks, guys!

Last week we purchased a used XC90 Recharge plug in Hybrid with Bend Volvo. We live in Redmond, WA and I decided to drive 13 hours back and forth to buy from Bend Volvo at OR. We want to share why this dealership should be on everyone's favorite list if they consider Volvo as their Car/SUV. Bottom-line is Volco Bend, OR Jesse Patterson and John Vierra deliver an upright, transparent, customer focused experience. This is how business should be conducted in America, not transitionally, but winning and delighting one customer at a time. If you consider a Volvo, whether you live in WA, OR, UT, CA, ID or NV - I cannot recommend them enough. Jesse Patterson, our salesperson and GM John Vierra are on my calling list for our next vehicle purchase. We re experienced car buyers, with BMW and Ford dealerships. Dealership experience conjures jaw-clenched bargaining and surprises for most. I can, without qualification, say Bend Volvo team was the most transparent, upfront, and flexible in delivering a 5-star customer service to me. They set the high bar for true customer service out of any dealership experiences I ve had in my last 20 years.True value and transparency. I compared prices, trim levels, upgrades for XC90 across 4 Volvo dealerships and 2 non-Volvo ones. I spreadsheet and optimize every transaction. Bend Volvo's came out to be the most value per my dollar. When you see value, you should also assess representation risk. Here, Bend Volvo truly shined, with Jesse, sending me a personalized video of vehicle details/features. When I had questions about 170-point inspections, GM John Vierra personally addressed my questions via text/phone.Second, truly amazed by Jesse/John's flexibility in addressing my unique needs. Day before I set for Bend Volvo, it was Sunday night. I texted John relaying my desire for the vehicle to be factory certified for peace of mind/added warranty. John gave me a very fair price for added expense, which was defrayed by Costco - yes - Costco gives $1500 rebate for CPO vehicles from Authorized Volvo dealers. Cannot overemphasize that John gave me a fair price upfront - no gimmicks/haggling. I knew the price, having talked to several Volvo dealers. This was Sunday night after hours. John called me and committed to have his Volvo Master tech to get the vehicle CPO'ed - involves time for the vehicle hooking up to Ridgeville, South Carolina systems.Transparency/business ethic - While running checks, John's team discovered that the charging cable was missing. They included that charging cable - the OEM cable is $600 -but they included that w/o increasing price. Really established my trust and I decided to drive to OR at 5:45 a.m. for a 7-hour drive.Dealership experience - one hour into my ETA at Bend, OR - had a light lunch and got myself caffeinated - ready to do haggling, surprises as I have been accustomed to in my prior dealership experiences. Couldn t have been more wrong. There was zero pressure at the dealership. Saw a couple of customers handled by care. Jesse insisted that we first test drive and he took an hour to explain the car features - he didn't have to do that if this was just a transaction. In all my interactions, Jesse took the time to understand concerns, ensuring I was buying a vehicle that fit our needs. Jesse shared he went to Volvo university, and this was reflective in the detailed responses I received on the drive train/vehicle telematics/advanced features.Further customer service: There was 0.5% difference in my financing and rate quoted by the bank to the dealership. John jumped on the issue immediately and resolved it. John walked me through each line item including taxes, title, Costco discount ensuring I understood every line item. After doing the deal, Jesse walked me into the vehicle - knowing my 7 hour evening drive back with rains, ensured all safety features, drive features were set. Oh, and they ensured that the Ford I drove was kept safely in their lot for retrieval later. They even promised to pick me up from airport when I come to retrieve my Ford.

What a phenomenal experience! I drove up to Bend from Klamath Falls thinking I was going to buy a Lexus. My wife wanted me to test drive a Volvo as well, so I figured I'd go humor her so that I could say I did. After talking with Michael Ivens we drove a couple different XC90 models. Before and during the drive Michael was a wealth of knowledge. He knew the ins and outs of each vehicle as well as safety stats. After leaving the dealership and coming back later that day I ended up buying a gently used XC90. Michael was absolutely wonderful to work with every step of the way. Because I had left and come back later in the day, the sale happened right near closing. Michael stayed through the whole process, well after closing, while Jeffrey Bledsoe worked with the lender to get me the best rate possible. We all know rates are unusually high right now, but I am really happy with what Jeffrey was able to do for me. Both Michael and Jeffrey definitely worked to earn my business. Michael gave me his personal cell number and let me know I was free to reach out to him there if he wasn't in the office. I have actually taken him up on that once already and he responded immediately! I would recommend ANYONE to work with both Michael and Jeffrey. I'm hoping they're both still working together next time I need to buy car!

When you spend almost $70k for a new car you should expect to receive better customer service. We purchased a '22 Volvo XC60-recharge from Volvo Bend late last year (2021). We went out of town for 4 days recently and when we came back the car was completely dead. We contacted Volvo roadside assistance on 11/25 and they sent a tow truck in about 3 hours to take our car to the dealership. The tow truck they used was specifically for a car that can't be put in neutral because it can't be turned on. This part of the Volvo service was good.Two things we expect we purchasing expensive cars - a loaner car and washing the car after a service. Volvo Bend only has a few loaner cars and they all were out. I asked about whether or not Volvo would pay for a rental car. I was told that it would depend on what the problem was that they found with the car. I would think that a car that is less than a year old and in warranty should automatically qualify for a rental car no matter what is wrong with it. It was discovered that a software bug was draining the battery and this has now been fixed.I heard nothing from Volvo Bend service until I reached out to them on 11/30. They confirmed that the battery was dead and that they had ordered a new one. On 12/5, Volvo Bend service called me to say that they had received the new battery and that the car should be ready to pick up on 12/6 assuming everything was ok after they installed the battery. The service agent Steve said he would call us to confirm when the car was ready. On 12/8, I had to call the dealership to find out the status of the car. Steve had never called to let me know the car was ready. We picked up the car on 12/8.The car was not washed. They said they don't have the ability to provide this service, particularly in the winter. Mike, our sales agent told us they are expanding their facility in the future to be able to provide this service.Regarding the actual service I have two comments. The rear mat was left in the back seat. It should have been put back where it belongs. Additionally, the car's hybrid battery was not charged. It would be good customer service to provide a charged hybrid battery.

Worst...experience with a car service...took our volvo xc90 in to have the AC checked, turned out it was ok so for releasing some pressure in the system cost us 300.LESS THAN ONE HOUR LATER...car is pushing hot air, take it back, oh this time it actually looks like your compressor is going out, that will be 1600 for the part and another 3400 for service and labor...no kidding..So we pass on that, on the way home and the next morning we have a coolant service message...Now suddenly, after literally no issues with our COOLANT system, NOT the AC system, the coolant system is now mysteriously leaking..So not only did we pay for an AC service but we also got our car back in WORSE condition..Will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN OR RECOMMEND them to anyone! They will only mess up your car more and then give you a very large pricetag...to fix the same work they are responsible for breaking...

Cassandra and Brendan are amazing! Ordered a very rare x40 Recharge EV and waited for 2 months for it to arrive from the port. Just picked it up today. We live out of state so Brendan picked us up from the airport and showed us all the features of the new car and even paired the garage door opener! Great service, great car, awesome people! The service department is really nice at Smolich Volvo. When I recently went in to have new brake pads installed, they made me feel welcome from the moment I entered the door. The person who was behind the counter made sure I knew exactly what was going to be done to my Volvo and how much everything would cost ahead of time. Plus, he was able to fit me into y scheduled within a few minutes. After a short, pleasant wait in the comfortable waiting room, I was on my way. My brakes work great, BTW!

Smolich Volvo and specifically John and Joey offer outstanding service. I have a newer Volvo that I bought out of the area, and had not been excited about the only service company in town because of repeated negative services for other vehicles serviced by same name. Smolich Volvo is entirely different! From the service reps to the financial rep, I have been treated with extraordinary respect and care. Issues with my Volvo, which were apparently somewhat uncommon enough for Smolich to reach out to Volvo itself, have been resolved. Additionally, an issue I have had for more than a decade with my Jeep was also resolved in once service call with Smolich Volvo which employs a Dodge tech. I am entirely pleased with the friendly, professional service and the outcomes of all my experiences with this team. I highly recommend anyone trust this team! Thank you.

Buying cars can sometimes be stressful and overwhelming, however here at Volvo cars bend, that is the complete opposite! All of the workers were very friendly, knowledgeable and kind! They worked with me and helped me find the right car that fit my needs! They listened to what I wanted and they executed the final sales transaction and made sure I was set up and ready to go in my new Volvo! It was my first time visiting this dealership. I went in on 03/26/2021 for a recall repair. On top of that I requested a software update. The repair and software update were done courteously well and fast. Very professional.I had a privilege to meet Bill who was very knowledgeable and kind. Thanks Bill!I'm giving them 4 stars because I requested information about possible extended warranties or maintenance services but I got a rather confusing answer. It all felt like they don't want to answer your request but wanted to appear helpful at the same time.

Poor customer service (shady people). Was told car would get in house warranty (lie); was told it would be taken to a specific dealership for maintenance (lie); and incredibly slow turn over on loan approval (10 days after purchase, the bank still has no record of approved loan or loan ID; which breaks the banks policy for me to provide proof of insurance to them in the required 10-window), and failing to return my calls regarding this information.It's simple: if you're interested in a vehicle, look elsewhere.
