The Absolute Nicest People! Professional, patient, extremely efficient. I was visiting from the Portland area and they were able to identify the code our truck was giving, obtain the needed parts and have them installed and repaired in an Amazingly Short time span.Will Absolutely use them again, and 100% recommend this shop!Thank You Performance Authority

Thank goodness for Performance Authority! We are on a 5 month camping trip, pulling our travel trailer, and our truck gave a warning that it would only go 65 more miles because of a problem with the emissions system. After trying 2 other shops, and being told the soonest they could get us in was 2 weeks, we found Performance Authority and they were able to take care of our problem that day. What a huge help! We ll be back on the road in the morning! Thank you ever so much to all the guys who helped us out!!

The dodge dealership here in bend told me it would be a month before they could even see my pickup the guys at the shop got me in that day and back on the road! Highly recommend

My husband and I were in Bend for a ski trip and our diesel pickup decided to start leaking fluid and stalling. We got ahold of Performance Authority 15 minutes before closing on a Fri night but they told us to head in anyways. TheCrew stayed late and had us up and running in an hour- can t say enough good about this business. Didn t price gouge us like they could have either. They saved our vacation

I think it speaks a lot when you know the fire trucks in Bend get worked on at Performance Authority. Across the board we were very happy with their diagnostics, follow through and fair rates. They went above and beyond and now the Dodge Cummins is running better than ever. Thanks!

I showed up at Performance Authority with a bunch of tuning problems that my other mechanic could not fix. They booked my appointment for three weeks out but said if I left my truck they would work on it if they had time between trucks. 3 days later I got a call that I could pick up my truck the following morning. Fast service, reasonable pricing, and overall quality customer service. I had very little knowledge about diesel motors prior to my visit and the explained everything they did to my truck. As a local ranch owner I will be bringing all of our trucks to Performance Authority.

Had a major issue with my 11 6.7 pulling from out of town. These men were backed up 3 weeks and forced a way to help get my truck figured out, spending several hours working with my local Portland shop to get this things tuning and injector issue figured out and tried to get my out of there with a $100 bill that I couldn t let happen. They were honest and more than anything, serious about my truck doing what it was supposed too! If I lived here, they would have my buisness. Great shop, great attitudes and great service all around! Thank you guys so much!!!!!

The most honest and trustworthy automotive shop I've ever dealt with. Tony and everyone there went above and beyond fixing my suspension. My truck hasn't driven so smoothly in years. They even got the alignment right, which saved me even more money. I even got an oil change for way less then I've ever paid, and with far superior oil. Highly recommended! In fact my diesel truck will never go anywhere else.

The temperature dropped down to single digits and my 2003 Chevy diesel would not start. I called Performance Authority and and spoke to Rock. Instead of suggesting I have my truck towed to his shop, he walked me through a technique to get it going. It started and is running fine. I appreciate him sharing his wealth of knowledge to get me back to work instead of making a few bucks on me. That's kind of integrity has my business in the future for sure.Ray

Where to begin??? We are on a year long trip pulling our travel trailer with our 2003 Duramax. After leaving Wisconsin we made a path through the southwest and then headed towards the Pacific Northwest. As soon as we hit our first switch back we knew we had issues. We stopped in Phoenix AZ and were told it's fine. ( Almost 500 bucks). Stopped in Bakersfield CA and Chico CA and were told it's fine and put a tuner on it. We bought a Banks tuner and decided to do it in Bend. Low and behold it's not plug and play. We contacted the first diesel shop in Bend and were turned away. Contacted " Rock" at Performance Authority and was told bring it in today. After talking with Rock and Nate about having no power they pulled the truck in and in 20 min. They said the waste gate and turbo were shot. They immediately ordered a BD turbo and tracked it til it arrived. Showed up at the shop Friday morning and Rock and Nate jumped on the repair. They worked on it all Friday and even came in on Saturday to get us back on the road. So we left with a new turbo setup and Banks programmer installed. Prices were more than fair. They also took the time to educate me. Great guys and unmatched customer service. Thanks guys, Dustin

Thank you Performance Authority! This is the best diesel shop in Bend. Rock & Nate are both amazing. They take great care of the customer. They give outstanding service and they are both all around great guys! I wouldn't take my diesel anywhere else.

I would rate them higher if I could! We are extremely grateful for Performance Authority. The staff is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. They saved us from a breakdown on our road trip and repaired our truck quickly. Highly recommended.

I have used this shop multiple times now. New turbo, HPOP, Air intake, 4inch diamond eye exhaust etc etc etc. They are excellent at keeping the customer informed and the prices are competitive with and sometimes beat the local shops. They are also great at Preventative maintenance. I trust them. Roc? Rock? at the front desk is knowledgeable and helpful. Fun to chat with and is a fund of knowledge. In the end I have a Diesel that has much improved gas mileage (18.9mpg while towing an 11K lab trailer with 6.0 powerstroke!) , lower operating temps, buckets more torque, acceleration, and ability to tow.

Our Ford E-450 V10 had engine problems while we were visiting Bend. Only when we stopped by Performance Authority we discovered they worked on diesels. They referred us on, going so far as to make some calls on our behalf. No luck. When no one had time for us they agreed to fix our unit. It was repaired quickly at a very reasonable price. My hat is off to those guys: friendly, fast and fair prices.. couldn t ask for more.

Great shop to work with. Got us in and out so much faster than we anticipated. Found the issue and got our rig fixed up at a price we were pleased with. Will definitely do business again. Thanks for an all around quality experience.

I have been having issues getting my H&S Tuner to download Custom tunes on my 2014 F250 6.7 Diesel. I called and they said " Bring it down now", after two hours of them messing with my truck, they got it to work and only charged me 1/4 hour of labor to help. Great guys !!!

This shop has been amazing to us!! These guys take their time and figure out what is wrong with your truck!! We had a transmission replaced by them and shortly after we had another issue go wrong with our truck to where it wasn't drive-able. We were down one vehicle and the owner Bennett personally drove to our house loaded it up and took it to the shop to be fixed for us! We live outside of Prineville 15 Miles...(So this wasn't exactly across town either!!) I appreciated the customer service that I know not every shop would do! Definitely recommend for your diesel needs!

Do not go here! This was the worst place i have ever taken my truck. The people were uneducated and extremely unreliable and difficult to work with. They had my truck for over a month, racked up a huge bill to $5800 that was completely unnecessary, and still didn't fix my truck. I had to take it to another mechanic and pay even more. They just fix parts without knowing that its the problem and give you no warning and then way over charge you. I am advising you and please tell your friends do not go here you will be taken advantage of and extremely over charged. Beware!

I have been going to these guys since at least 2009 I believe, with nothing but great results every time. Their work has always been top notch, and the same can be said about their customer service. I travel back and forth to Alaska for work quite often, and they are always willing to help me from afar if I have an issue. To date though, I think the only issue I had to call them for was to fix shoddy work from a shop in Alaska. I don't recall ever needing to bring a truck back due to their work, and I have taken them quite a bit of rigs. Don't hesitate to bring your diesel to these guys if you are having an issue, or if you just want to liven it up a bit. As long as I am in Bend, I will be taking my trucks to Performance Authority.

I spent 3500 dollars with performance authority because of upselling parts my truck did not need knowing i did not want to spend near that. went in expecting $1800 for a turbo replacement. they came up with a list of things to be fixed that were never an issue before i walked in. it still didint run right when i left but i refused to go there again so i went to robberson ford here in bend where i received excellent customer service and fair price of repairs. i would never go here to have my truck worked on again. no returned phone calls, hard to get a hold of, and over priced.

Have a 82 blazer I've converted to a running driving 12 valve Cummins project. Dropped it off to have them check an issue with the transmission controller. They had it for 5 months never touched it, always excuses for not working on it. I grabbed the keys and asked is it going to start, the person laughed and said probably not. I drove it to another shop.

I have taken my 2000 Ford F350 to these guys for many years. They have been nothing but extremely knowledgable, helpful and honest every time I have been there.They have even given diagnoses over the phone and have been spot on allowing me to fix the issue myself. Most other shops would have said to bring it in.They may or may not be the "cheapest" around, but we have all been down that road............I have recommended them to several friends and have not heard any complaints from anyone. I can say Bennett and Frank know deisel trucks/engines inside & out.

These guys rock. Great service. I had a starter replaced and the new one was defective (not their fault). They came to me to trouble shoot, towed the truck back to the shop and did the work the next day. This shop is a clear front runner in Bend. Thanks. I'll be back, but hopefully not soon.

I have had nothing but great experiences at this shop, wether it was keeping one of my diesels running, hot rodding for fun or the Cummins conversion, they have always been a 5 star shop. The tech's are very knowledgeable and accurate when it comes to diagnosing. Up front Tony and Rock are pleasant and easy to schedule or work with. Keep up the good work guys, and thanks for keeping me on the road!I just read some of the 1 star reviews and was cracking up. It looks as if they were all posted in 1 or 2 days of each other so my guess is that one person didn't like the work and had his buddies also post for him . All I know is that Performance Authority is a quality shop with quality workers. The 1 star guys should just go back to watching YouTube videos because if they can't get along with this shop, they're not going to get along with any shop!

Workmanship has been good but I have been there twice and both times I have been quoted one price but charged a lot more than quoted. Buyer be where !
