I should have read all of the horrible reviews before doing business with a company I thought had an outstanding reputation for quality and customer service. I can attest first-had that both tire quality and customer service are subpar. I had my tires rotated a couple of weeks ago and was told that I needed new tires. My tires didn't even come close to the stated mileage I paid for so I was offered a credit of $103 per tire. I ended up getting tires elsewhere and went back in to get my warranty credit and even though they had already inspected my tires and acknowledged that they were subpar and that I was due a partial refund, they won't honor the refund because I didn't bring back my treadless tires.I ended up getting a reputable 80,000 mile name-brand tire for less than what Les Schwab was going to charge me WITH my $400+ warranty credit for their clearly subpar brand. I won't be doing business with this company anymore!

I just got of the phone with Julie in the credit department and the experience led me to immediately turn around and leave this review. Her customer service left me feeling very well taken care of and she even provided me with extra assistance to help me with myself as I was a little confused at times. Thank you for your kindness and expertise Julie. It was seen, felt and so greatly appreciated.

I wouldn t recommend this trash company to any body! Their managers are completely incompetent when it comes to managing stores or customer needs! As a former employee, apparently it is legal for anybody to walk off the street and charge services to your personal account! After speaking with a gentleman who clearly doesn t belong in management, I m forced to file a fraudulent lawsuit against this pathetic company. Make sure to watch out for yourself or family if ever dealing with these crooks.

I have been a lifelong LS customer and have a corporate account. The monthly invoice arrives after the due date and they call and ding about a overdue payment. If you do not want to be treated as a deadbeat, might it be suggested that one takes their tire business elsewhere.I just happened to listen to a vmail on speaker in a room with others and was embarrassed by the call.If you want to be treated as a deadbeat buy LS otherwise go elsewhere.Send invoices in a timely manner.

The Milton~Freewater store tried to take advantage of my elderly parents. After spending $1,300 on a new set of tires, the manager asked if they wanted an alignment. He didn t have time right then, but said they could make an appointment. They did, and after the alignment 2 days later, the tech asked for $129. Fortunately, my husband was there and explained that they were told there would be no charge. The tech was visibly annoyed and slid the keys across the counter ~ he would have thrown the keys if he could have! Before my husband could get home, the receptionist called my Mom s phone, saying the alignment was $129. I explained that they were told that there was no charge for the alignment at the time of the tire purchase. She argued with me, but when I asked to talk to the manager, she took my name and number. 2 hours later, the manager called ~ he didn t ask for me (who had left the message for him), he asked for my elderly father. When I told the manager I was handling the situation and repeated that we were told there was no charge for the alignment, he complained to me that he could lose his job for giving away free product and services . I told him he was going to lose more than his job when the State learns they were abusing the elderly. He then wanted my husband and my folks to come into the store and tell me face to face . THE BIGGEST JERK EVER!!!! Finally my husband got on the phone and reiterated EXACTLY what he told them at the time of the purchase and he FINALLY relented. We will NEVER use Les Schwab again, andwe will tell EVERYONE we know NEVER to use Les Schwab again. Les Schwab is guilty of elder abuse.

This company is pathetic. They with hold your paperwork making you have to abandon your vehicle. No mechanic will touch my rig until you release paperwork. They aren't giving paperwork from the outside shop who fixed my rear end. Won't cooperate because we are suing them. Won't look good in front of the judge.

Shame on you for using in-person threats and intimidation at your clients' homes. A family member missed two payments as an oversight. Your employee, assistant manager Jason Sparks came to their home and was very aggressive and threatening. After this horrific incident my family member made the payment then found the letter which gave a 10-day period that had not yet passed. You should be ashamed.

Had ALWAYS used Les Schwab with great service.I recently purchased new wheels for aesthetics on my car from their Woodburn, OR store. My car was shaking quite bad, but didn't notice until I was on the highway. I took it to a store in Shelton, WA to have it re-torqued and they told me that would fix the vibration issue. I had to return to school in Pullman, WA. The drive was still bad. I took it into the Pullman, WA store immediately and they checked the balance on the front tires. One was off 4oz and one was off 1oz. The tire that was off 4oz had horrible cupping because of the imbalance, but they didn't point it out during this visit. I returned the next morning, the drive was better, but I didn't know they only did the fronts until I read the paperwork. When I went in to have the rear tires checked the service person said that I had cupping. He said that's usually do to bad struts and I need to replace them. From everything I've read and researched, an improperly balanced tire can cause cupping because of the vibration. This also damages the struts. Now I need new struts and a new tire. Les Schwab caused all of this damage. I originally was very happy to go and give them my money. I will never again trust Les Schwab. There training is sub par and they refused to acknowledge that they were the source of the tire damage. I never had issues with this vehicle before putting on these new wheels. Please do not use Les Schwab for tire service. They are not well trained and this shows through multiple stores and locations. I'm a very laid back person that complains seldom. How they treated me is uncalled for and I will never return.

They really couldn't careless after getting my money in there pocket. Customer satisfaction is there #1 priority is a total lie. This is a new Co now with an old scam. I had my tires balanced there and they where worse than before. I told the manager and he said I bought junk brand tires. Pirelli's are not junk. So they stole my money. I took my Escalade to Industrial tire service watched the guy put my tires on the machine and yes 2.75 oz off on average. Im thinking about taking legal action against them for fraud. If my tires where bad how come the other shop got it right

The second Les Schwab we went to on 2370 Pacific Ave. Forest Grove will get 5 stars and we went to them on the same day that we went to the Aloha store. The Forest Grove store had no problem selling and mounting us two tires! The Aloha, Oregon store wouldn't sell us two tires and mount them. They wanted to sell us 4 tires at close to $900. We have perfectly good tread on our other two tires. They wouldn't do it for two, only because the tread on the two we already have will be different from the ones they have!!!! ??? WHAT???

Last Friday, I took my car Toyota Camry 2017 to Les Schwab WA at the LakeCity way. This is my second visit at the same problem last week. I had a bad experience. My car has a vibration at speed 40-45 you can feel at the seat shaking and no vibration from the wheel steering. They did it all 4 tire balance but vibration still exist, when i asked them what is wrong i didn't get the right answer I even asked them if I need to replace all four tires? they said we cannot guarantee if the vibration will go away. I don't know what to do I want to fix my car and i'm loyal customer and I fix all my cars in Les Schwab.

I had recently lost my father this year which caused a late payment once in a year or so which dropped my credit some. Sent a goodwill letter and got a response within a week. Sheila from Les Schwab Tire Center was very fast at responding and helping me out with getting that late payment removed. Would recommend Les Schwab to friends and family. Thank you again for working with me!! Happy holidays.

No one has touched my tires since the installation and my last tire rotation. The lug nuts on the flat tire wheel were stripped; I could utilize the spare. It had to be towed because of these lug nuts. They told me the tire was fixed. It went flat again on a steep hill, and I had to limp it up to safety. They put those same bad lug nuts back on where again I could not use the spare. I am without a car. My wheel may be damaged. Not happy (severe understatement).

Absolute garbage. The lady got tires (and an alignment) less than a year ago, 12,000 miles and they're down to wires. Their response? "We'll give you a balance and an alignment if you spend over $300 on more new tires"I only sent her here because of the warranties they've always offered. I will not be sending her or anyone else (including myself) to Les Schwab ever again. I have never in my life seen tires wear this fast under any conditions.Pics attached. 12,000 miles!!!

After attending an out of state relative's wedding, I got in my car to head home and the battery was dead. My friend jumped it and it started right up so I headed home. After some driving, my car started running really rough. I stopped in Pendleton, Oregon to get some gas and my car, again, wouldn't start. Two young men at the gas station tried to jump it but it still wouldn't start. I called Les Schwab and an employee from their store came and replaced the battery. But my car was still running really rough so I followed him back to the Les Schwab store there in Pendleton and Josh checked the alternator, which was fine, and then diagnosed my car and told me that two of the cylinders were misfiring and that I needed a mechanic. It was after 5 pm and the mechanic shops were closed, so I was going to have to stay the night in Pendleton. I didn't know the area, so Josh had me follow him to a nearby motel and then showed me where the mechanic shop was so I could find it the next morning. Not only that, but when I called the mechanic the next morning, I found out that Josh had already talked to them about my car and they were expecting my call. The mechanic had me come in right away and within 2 1/2 hours my car was ready to go. I had been home only about 10 - 15 minutes when I received a call from Josh at Les Schwab making sure I got home okay!

Still waiting to get an issue resolved with my local store (months.) Corporate and my local store have dropped the ball on communicating with me on this issue. Scott, it has been sooo long since you were supposed to call my local store, then call me back to let me know what's going on, I lost track. 2 weeks maybe? How much longer do I have to wait to get my money back?

My elderly mother was "forced" into buying 4 new tires by the Canby, Oregon store for a car with less than $1,000. She used the tires for less than a month before her transmission died. When I called corporate they said they would take back the tires and give some in store credit (and I made it clear we were not expecting full credit, but a partial credit would be very welcome).Nothing for a month.Second call, same promises.Nothing again, two MORE months now.All talk, no action.

Went to LS in Dallas,OR. To switch out studs. Man walk in front of me at the counter and pointed out he was was an important customer. He spent a lot of money there and wanted special service. He got it. Meaning 5 customers had a longer wait. A wealthy man but of little value. I may only buy one set of tires a year but it will not be at LS ever again. All customers are important, unless you're doing business with Schwab. I'm going back to Costco for all my tires.

GRESHAM STORE;Getting my car aligned I explained to them that I have new tires (didn't buy them there bc they were $300 more for same tire) and the old tires had abnormal excessive wear on the front tires. Nothing was corrected except right rear I was told. They were very uninterested, unprofessional, called me a name other than my real name. Went got another opinion at my dealership, had it realigned. They said alignment not even close to correct. Got my money back!! Car drives best it ever has.

Changed wheels and tires on my car. Wanted my wheels that were taken off car given back to me and to this day they refuse. Did not trade on wheels. Paperwork clearly shows this. They or an employee kept them. Also one tire was not keeping air. They said no worries. Just pull over every couple of miles and put more air in. Not at all safe. Refuse to let me speak with their legal department.

I have shopped with Les Schwab since my 20's. My parents have used them as well. Something big has changed in the last few years. I have been mis-quoted, told I needed brakes when my mechanic said I was at 50%(they quoted me to have the whole thing replaced), and today we had the manager throw a fit when we got quoted a job at $50 and he tried to charge us $60. I have been in management, and he clearly does not know customer service. Maybe it is the Lombard store that has a problem with women, and minorities? My small town store in Stayton was amazing! I loved those guys!!! Totally shopping for my new store.

Had a dreadful experience yesterday. I had three lug nuts that had worked loose after having my snow tyres changed by Les Schwab, Queensgate, WA. They tightened the lug nuts but barely even apologized. "Here are your keys. Good to go" after a near-death experience is not acceptable. I will not be using that store again.

We were on our way to visit friends in Salmon Arm BC, when we discovered we were loosing air in a rear tire in our motorhome. We had to stop and add air several times and we knew we were not going to make it very far. The closest Les Schwab was in Deer Park. It was the 4th of July so we decided to go there and wait till they opened on the 5th. It was just shortly after noon, so it would be a wait! We pulled in and Andy who is an employee, happened to be there with his children. We were going to ask him if we could spend the night in their parking lot. He asked if he could look at the tire and said it needed to be repaired right away. He wanted to take his children home and would be back in 30 minutes! He returned as promised with his boss and another employee. They removed a screw from our tire and we're back on the road! I can't thank them enough for taking time away from their families on a holiday to help some strangers. They were a true blessing, and reminded us how grateful we are for living in a country with people as kind and giving as these gentlemen at the Deer Park Les Schwab!

While traveling enroute to Joseph, OR from Portland, I experienced an instant loss of air pressure in the front tire of my Goldwing Trike. We were in the middle of nowhere about 15 miles from Pendelton, OR. The problem we discovered was a bad/broken valve stem. There was no cell phone coverage to call for assistance, and few passers by, so we used a little inginuity with some duct tape and a tire pump and were able to put air back in the tire lasting about three miles of running distance between refills. Finally we arrived at a location where we had cell phone coverage, called the Les Schwab Tire Store in Pendleton, OR seeking help, and did we ever get help. Steve at the store said that if we can get the trike there, they would help us out.Well upon our arrival 10-15 minutes later Steve had a tech put air in the tire and said we should follow the store manager to Phantom Motorcycles in town, where Steve had pre-arranged for them to help us out. We did so, got there, and in an hour were back on the road.Had it not been for the incredible assitance of Steve and the Store Manager, who's name I did not get, our day would have been even more difficult than it was.Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Les Schwab Tires in Pendleton, OR...

King City said they would do me a favor and replace my battery for free (it was their most expensive and longest warranted battery available) It was only 8 months old. Vehicle inspected by another reputable company and found the battery sub-par. Brandon, the "service" tech needs a lesson in "customer" service. Insisted that he was doing a favor replacing an 8 month old battery with a 72 month warranty Thanks I guess?. Wow! Have they gone down hill!

Sure do miss the days when Les was alive. BUYER beware and grab your wallet before they do. Folks .... poor products, long waits and no more product support and good ol boy treatment. I can't express how disappointed I've been in tires (support), batteries (garbage) and with the constant push to replace brake rotors - WOW! Even Dodge would turn them after I was told they had to be replaced.
