I scheduled an appointment the day before online. There were multiple choices for the reason for the appointment & I chose the engine light being on.I showed up for the appointment on time & was informed that they did not have a mechanic working that day that could run the diagnostic on my car. I said I would go to an auto parts store to have the diagnostic run & come back to have the repair done. The diagnostic showed that I needed the thermostat replaced on my car. I took the car back to get the repair & was informed that they did not replace thermostats.What do they actually do there?? I went to Midas two blocks away, had excellent customer service & left with my car repaired.I have used Point S in other states & had fantastic service. I don't know what the issue is at this location, but the customer service was not up to par.

I brought my car in here to get my studded tires switched onto my rims so I get can over the mountain safely this weekend. I just want to say the customer service here is unlike any other shop I've been to! I received a call and they informed me that I needed an oil change, which I absolutely did, but was not aware they did oil changes. I received another call saying that I desperately needed my brakes replaced, which I knew about but had not previously had the funds to do so. Luckily this time I did! I'm extremely thankful and impressed by the work they did, without gouging me! They finished working on my car before they closed for the day, which I thought they would have to keep it overnight. I have always been impressed by these guys in the past, and am beyond thankful for the work they did. Thank you! You have definitely gained a life long customer!! Tyler was the guy who helped me directly, and was also helped by another guy, but i feel bad because i didnt get his name! Thanks guys!

Everyone here was super nice, but be warned they do not follow first come first serve practices. I arrived second in line this morning and was told it was be 2-3 hours. It ended up not getting done until 4:30 in the afternoon however when I arrived in the afternoon I saw 4 people who got there after me picking up their cars for the same service I got. It s hard to be without a car all day and especially when you work to get there early and then to not have the order followed.

These guys are great. Made time for me on a Saturday. Great customer service and I like that they do more than just tires, they offer other repair and maintenance services which is nice.

Had an oil change and tire rotation, service was quick but customer service was very poor. The olde gentleman at the counter was rude and not helpful. When my vehicle was ready I wasn t informed of any leaks I had or even how my brakes looked. The only reason I ll go back is because I have a free oil change. After that I won t be back.

Excellent customer service and great selection. We were lifetime customers of Tire Factory and when they became Point S the great service has continued. Jesus is the best.

Gills is the best customer service. Our car tire service was done as scheduled. They called ahead to let us know it was complete. No problems !

They got me in and out in less than half of an hour. Great service and friendly staff. I needed 2 tires changed from 1 set of steel rims onto new aluminum Weld Wheels I called another tire shop that is closer to my house but they told me I would need an appointment and the next opening was 7 days out!? For a simple 20 minute job. I called Gills at 11:30 Saturday morning and I was told that they close at 2 so if I got there before then they would get me taken care of no problem at all. Thanks to Gills the whole family got to go cruse in our 66 Chevelle SS.

The staff very friendly, polite. Always offered great deals, work done on my car very professional. Again on 1/6/2022 Tyler, very kind, professional. Drop car off night before for snow tires to be put on. Pick next day. How easy is that!Recently went back to have my studded snow tires (January 2024) put on. Would, without a doubt recommend this business to everyone I know.

Good group of guys. Fun, good jokes, nice to have a little fun when doing business.I Saw the service manager handle an unhappy customer right before me as well. It can be tough, but the manager was courteous yet firm about what could be done. He gave him options, and backed it up with reason, but the customer wanted them to "take 5 minutes and look at it. That's what a guy on the phone said you could do.""I'm sorry if someone said that was possible over the phone, but it wasn't me and it wasn't my counter guy. I am the manager, and I know my guys. If we look at it, which I know will take more than 5 minutes and it needs to be fixed, then you are going to have to leave the vehicle. Currently, I don't have any techs available or an open bay, and it will be a bit before we do. If you can leave the vehicle, we can look at it and help you figure it out."Customer left unhappy, but sometimes the truth is not what people want to hear. Reality of the situation though, was that if they had dropped everything to help him, it would have negatively impacted many other customers. It's a busy time of year for tires and suspension work.I dropped off my tire then picked it up a few hours later, good as new, and I was welcomed with positive attitudes just minutes before the store closed.-Lonnie Seiders

Always appreciate the friendliness & hard work happening there, and they try to get me out of there as quickly as possible. The one thing I noticed upon returning home after my winter tires were put on was a damaged plastic wheel cover on one of my tires. It would have been nice if this had been mentioned at the time. It s not such a big deal but I will have to replace the whole set! Still appreciate the service, and will continue to do business with them!

I can't say enough wonderful things about the guys at Point S. My boyfriend and I both took our cars in last week - I had a nail in mine and a rusty nail in his. They told us to come in without an appointment and had both our of cars done in no time.I had to come back this week to have breaks replaced (once again, no appt needed). Initially we thought it was the rear breaks but the front ended up needing to be done as well. They charge $500 for breaks but since they had to do both front and back they gave me $100 off the service.HIGHLY recommend these guys if you need any work done.

After another very well known tire shop in town (Les just say, they used to be locally owned) was unable to get my alignment right after two separate attempts, I then took my truck to point S. They were able to get it done right and in just a few short hours. The friendly staff were very accommodating and let me leave my other vehicle there while I played musical cars and swapping vehicles. I ll definitely be returning.

The team at Gills, Paul and Tyler specifically, did a great job notifying us that our ordered tires had arrived and managed the install, and post install comms, very well. We will definitely be back for additional services. Highly recommended.

I called the day before and setup an appointment to have my tires changed over to summer tires. When I got to appointment and talking to Taylor I think that was his name. Founded out that the person I talked to on the phone wasn't from this store and when I told Taylor that I was quoted $82.00. Taylor said that wasn't the price to do change over on the tires. He told me that he would honor that price. Not sure what happened but again thanks Taylor for great customer service.Steve

My dad's car had a low tire warning light on and found a screw in the tire. He purchased his tires at Point S, so I told him I would take it down and get it repaired. Only having experience with that other business in town, I was expecting a quick and friendly fix. With a crew of people standing about, I was told I would be required to leave the car for the entire day. That's it. No looking at the tire to check it for safety, no offer to schedule a time or window of time. Heading to the competition to get it repaired. This was the Bend Point S location, so no idea how the Redmond location operates. Definitely disappointing.

Brought my car into Gill s after having the rear brakes and rotors replaced. They were starting to squeak some time after the installation. They tried to fix it by burnishing the pads. That didn t work, so they just replaced the pads with a different type. No questions asked. Hope this fixes the problem! They are a great repair and tire shop and I have been using them for tires and brakes for several years.

Point S tires has amazing service and pricing. Everyone of their staff members is friendly and efficient. Especially Tyler he always has a smile on his face. I will continue to refer my friends and family here. Thanks again for everything.

I love Point S. I'm accustomed to my shop in Portland, but spending the holidays in the high desert, I thought I should have the snow experts check my tires here in Bend. They were awesome! Checked the tread, rotated my 2yo all weather's and said to come in for an alignment when I have a free morning. Very upbeat & friendly shop with lots of characters coming and going. (could use real cream pods with their kuerig.. )

Tyler and his crew at Point S are always amazing!My last visit they easily could have charged me to replace a headlamp bulb and tell me my TPS needed replaced. Instead, with integrity, they told me my headlamp was loose and they tightened it and tested it. They said my TPS was fine just needed reset after a low air pressure event. All at no charge!Excellent customer service!!

Everything I experienced at Point S Tires in La Pine was great with the exception of one thing. When I paid for my 4 new tires and looked over my paperwork I noticed that there was a $97 charge for an extra plan that covered sidewall damage. It was supposed to be an optional plan but I was not given that option to choose. They just added it to the cost of the tires without asking me. I was disappointed that they would do that.

Bought my own brand new tires online and made an appointment to have them installed. First when I asked, it was $100 - ok cool. Then was upped to $200 right before I come to pick it up. If you re going to gouge me extra for the labor of mounting and balancing, at least give me an accurate price quote in the first place. I had to drag in emergency money to cover the unexpected $100 more when I was called to come get it.All guys working there when I dropped my car off, let s just say that they had very different attitudes addressing the women coming in versus the men just uncomfortable to witness and experience. One woman waiting in line didn t look up from her phone quickly enough at her turn, which upset the old man at the counter enough to call her out unnecessarily.Thanks to Paul for getting this young lady (I m a grown adult woman) out of an extra $100 and rubbing me the wrong way in the process. Never ever coming here again, I will definitely go spend the $200+ at Schwab where the dudes are at least respectful and friendly, and don t give off the condescending vibe to their customers without male genitalia. Left Point S feeling dissatisfied and frustrated, not to mention an unexpected $100 short.

Paul and the team at Point S in Bend are awesome. I moved in January and take my car in for my oil changes. I recently had a hole in the hub covering my rear axels. They ordered a new part and was able to get it fixed in a couple weeks as soon as it came in. I came in inquiring about the best tires to get this winter on Monday. Paul talked and explained his recommendation and by Tuesday at noon they were on and ready for me to pick up. I would highly recommend Point S Tire Bend to anyone in Central Oregon!

Another winter tire change at Gill s Point S. We were able to set up an appointment with in a week. Dropped off the night before and was able to pick up the next evening. Paul is always a great help in getting everything set up! This is a very well run & trustworthy business grateful to have them in Bend.

Paul and his team were efficient, professional, and an all around joy to do bussiness with. I brought a John Deer tractor in with a blown tire in, they had me in and out of there within an hour- and they did the work without taking it off the trailer!Very pleased with my experience, I ll be seeing them again for my tire needs.
