The communication here is unmatched! I've never had a mechanic shop be so available through text messages and it was super helpful in a stressful time for me and my older Corolla. I appreciated how thorough the diagnostics were and the flexibility of only doing certain things that actually posed a safety risk. I never like spending a lot of money on car things, but Hannah and the rest of the staff here made me feel better and like I was in good hands. I recommend this shop to anyone in Central Oregon and plan on coming back in the future when I need it.

Had a few issues with my Volvo. They addressed most pressing matters and seemed to make a persistent issue worse. Causing car to throw a code that helped figure out issue at hand. The re diagnosed and fixed issue and did a warranty claim to help with expenses. Most shops would of up charged for repairs. These folks did not, were very good about communicating and reaching out to see how vehicle is running after a phone call of first repair. And checked again after the final repair. Will go back for routine maintenance and trouble shooting. Very down to earth people and caring shop. Have used in the past and will in the future.

They are always upfront and clear about the state of the vehicle, and are flexible in working with you to get what needs repaired on your schedule. In purchasing a new car, they helped us with pre-purchase questions, what year models are better than others, etc., and then inspected the cars before we bought. We'll keep bringing our vehicles there - trust and confidence are key. Nice folk too!

I had my older plow truck break down on me and Evolution got my truck in right away. They did the research and found the parts although they where hard to find, and got them in and back to me quickly. The whole time they were calling me and keeping me in the loop on the progress. The customer service and quality of work is top notch.

We were towing our travel trailer home to the Rogue Valley when I noticed what smelled like transmission fluid spattered all over our trailer. We were only planning one night in Bend as Winter weather was approaching. But as I called many auto shops, no one could take a look at the truck for at least a week. But Evolution Automotive listened to our predicament and said they could make room if I got it down there that morning. They diagnosed the problem within and hour. Transfer case was spewing fluid and pretty much cooked. They said they could replace it, but would need a day or two to source parts. They also said I could likely make it home and get it fixed there. So they topped it off with fluid and we were on our way. And we made it home before the snow! So impressed with their customer service and honesty! If I lived in Bend, I would have had them do the work and they would be my go to shop! Highly recommend!

Darwin and Hannah always take care of our cars so well. This visit was for a dead battery. They fit me in with little notice and were able to install a new battery and clean the terminal within an hour. Courteous, professional, and knowledgeable.

This is my preferred go-to shop in town for our families 3 vehicles: Escalade, Volvo, Toyota. Have always done 100% right by me. Owners Hannah and Darwin are available, knowledgeable, and have great communication. I appreciate and trust their employees hard work to keep our family safe and reliably on the road at a fair price. They provide honest feedback and prioritize repair necessity. Ashley is great, always calls me back and keeps me updated along the way. If we could get my dual AC/heat working in Escalade though, would give it a 10/10!

Took my XC90 to Evolution for a front brake pad/rotors change they have a Volvo certified tech who did a nice repair with quick turnaround. I'll definitely continue to take my Volvo here for future services. One thing to plan for is the new customer diagnostic fee ($125 I believe), which feels a little steep at first, but Evolution provides a full readout on what repairs you'll need to address over the next several thousand miles - this helps with budgeting and the diagnostic fee goes down to the $85 dollar range for repeat customers.

Evolution is a great choice when looking for a mechanic! As a young woman, it's often difficult to find mechanics that won't constantly try to pressure me into purchasing things that my vehicle doesn't actually need. Evolution is trustworthy and their communication and customer service is awesome.

This is the best auto shop I have ever dealt with! My husband is an auto mechanic and I have worked in a shop. This shop exceeded my expectations! I brought my pick up in that had multiple issues going on. The communication was unbelievable! I received constant phone calls with updates by Ashleigh who is absolutely knowledgeable and a delight!! All of the work was done on time (some of it sooner than expected) and at or under my quotes. Ashleigh did some extra footwork to get me a part and repairs done quicker and cheaper than what we originally thought! The team at Transfix are great. They are super professional and really nice to work with. Our car was not drivable and it was going to be super expensive to get it fixed at the Mercedes dealership so we brought it to them. They rebuilt the transmission and we ve been driving it for a year with no problems. They even did a quick checkup before a big road trip free of charge. Bonus that Hannah and Darwin are the nicest people!

Recently brought my newly purchased 2013 tundra here for a post purchase inspection. The technician inspected my vehicle and didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need. I know I can trust evolution automotive with all my vehicle needs. I couldn't ask for a better place to bring my vehicle.

At first my car wouldn t start but I got it going. Did a few errands and had trouble starting it several more times. Drove it over to Evolution Automotive, ( I have used them for all of my cars), it was on a Friday and the mechanics don t work on Friday s but the office was open. Hannah was so helpful. I left the car there and Monday afternoon I got a call to say it was the battery and they would have the car ready by the close of business. I was so grateful, very trust worthy, professional and always willing to accommodate your needs. I highly recommend Evolution Automotive.Service: Battery

I contacted a few shops in town via e-mail, requesting pricing and timing to repair my truck's transfer case. Of all the shops, Transfix was overall most responsive, reasonably priced, and excellent on communications. One of the shops, over on American Loop was poor, and the other ones were good.I gave the job to Transfix, and the work was done quickly, correctly and professionally. They really cared about my business. Highly, highly recommended.

They are amazing at Evolution Automotive. They are HONEST, Knowledgeable, Reliable, Friendly, and get car done you when they say. I had brakes, oil change, car maintenance and transmission fluid change done on my BMW at 100,000 miles. They also replaced lights on BMW, had tgem ordered and put in. Seamlessly! Evolution Automotive is my "go to" Car Mechanic place in Bend. I won t take my car anywhere else. They take the initiative to make sure any fix I need will be covered by the warranty that came with my car. They ALWAYS have my car ready on time or before expected. They are very polite, very professional and I do trust them. It feels so rare to come across an honest mechanic but I truly feel they have been completely honest, upfront, and have not sprung any surprises on me. I am a loyal customer.

I had an emergency alternator replacement done in less than 24 hrs by Evolution. They were so kind to get me in first thing the next morning and out the same day otherwise I would have been stuck in Bend trying to drive home to Portland. Great service and pricing, very professional! So grateful for their hospitality and flexibility!

TransFix is an excellent repair shop. Honest, friendly, fair prices. I don't trust many people other than my son to work on my beautiful 1990 Volvo 240. Darwin loves my car and knows it's special. I feel comfortable having them work on it for me. Today I had an oil change and Josh worked on it - I think he loves it too! Thanks guys.

I am always terrified of entering any auto repair shop when my car is needing service. Since I know nothing about cars, I'm certain there's been many times I've overpaid for services, so I usually just avoid it until I don't have a choice. It's June and my A/C stopped working, so I knew I had no choice, & began looking up shops in town. I left messages at 3 of them, and only one called me back....it was Transfix Automotive and I am so so so happy they did! They were quick, efficient, honest, informative and extremely nice!!! I intend to make sure that I don't avoid taking my car in BEFORE I have trouble from now on, & will always use Transfix when I need help! They were just so great and I can't say enough about the professional service I received today! I'm a customer for life and intend on telling all my friends and family about my experience!!Oh! and the ladies at the front desk were awesome too! Thanks for EVERYTHING!!! You guys rock!

Great business. Rebuilt my transmission in a few days and it runs beautifully. Really smooth. Feel like I have a new car! Reasonable price and very professional and courteous staff. I am from out of town so their 2 year warranty being transferable to a location in their network was a huge plus for me. Highly recommend.

I have been coming to transfix for all my service since my warranty was up! This is because I trust them! My truck is a 2002 Chevy and is still running hard. They never try to sell me on more stuff and they back up their work!Update 6/22/22- My truck had a weird sound intermittently that started last summer. The frequency increased and became reproducible over the next 6 months! I had Evolution look at it on multiple occurrences. The first time they couldn t reproduce the sound, the second time they could reproduce the sound and gave me a quote for what they thought the problem was but didn t convince me that it was going to fix it. I delayed the work as I wasn t sold on the diagnosis. Over the next couple months the noise got worse and I had multiple people tell me to get a second opinion from a specific shop. So I did and that shop said they didn t agree with Evolution but also didn t know what the problem was! I consulted with a number of other mechanics and in the end I went back to Evolution and spoke to Darwin, told him the findings from everyone else as well as new symptoms I noticed and asked him to look further. Darwin and his crew listened to my report, performed some test and identified the parking brake as the issue. They removed it and with out a doubt confirmed this was the issue! I can t say how much I appreciate the honesty of this group! I know they spent more time than anyone else would have, all while not overcharging me! I have no problem referring people to them! Thanks

Had my timing belt / water pump replaced on a Volvo C30 here at TransFix in Bend. Very personable owners. Great communicative skills. The owners are up front with the service they will provide for your specific needs, the cost of the service, and expected time to complete the service.The mechanics are excellent and efficient. First time I've used TransFix. I've owned many different models of Volvos over the years and it's not easy to find a qualified mechanic who knows these Swedish autos. I trusted them with my Volvo C30 and they delivered. I will continue to trust them to be honest and fair with their pricing with any future service. They have a new customer. I don't need to look for another mechanic I can trust. Thanks TransFix.
