Ian at 541 Imports is an awesome mechanic and worked with me on a quick turn around! I had my car get repaired at a Subaru dealership in Southern California a couple months before I brought it into Ian and it seemed like they were trying to find things wrong with my car. When I brought it into Ian he was real with me on what really needed to be fixed and what was a money grab by the dealership that was trying to "recommend" a fix that was unneeded.If you are looking for a trustworthy, authentic, and great mechanic 541 Imports is a place to bring your car.

My truck won't start but I could pop the clutch and get it to 541 imports. I thought for sure it was the alternator or something worse. Ian looked at it, cleaned the battery terminals and good to go. Honest, hard working and very professional. I will always recommend them to anyone I know!

I was in Bend on vacation from Seattle and noticed my Subaru WRX clutch/transmission making noise. Ian was able to get my car in the same morning I called and was able to replace my clutch the next day. Excellent service and the price was very fair especially for an expedited job. Ian did a great job explaining what needed to be done and was upfront on the cost of the job. Would definitely recommend this shop if you're in or near Bend and especially if you own a Subaru.Services: Transmission repair, Auto maintenance

Pretty impressed with Ian. All auto shops here are wracked for bandwidth and time, but this dude answered the phone and stupid questions that come with them, called me back, helped me find parts, and ultimately decided that he probably won't be my best resource, and still took the time to point me in the right direction. He called me back like 4 times on a job that's not gonna make him any money (!!!) A mechanic that's good at communicating is a damn good place to start imho....Thanks again!

If you own a Saab or a Subaru, look no further than this shop. Super knowledgeable, always friendly, always fairly priced. The integrity is definitely there, and they absolutely have a sixth sense for Saabs. When my wife bought a used car, buying a Subaru was a no brainer knowing we could service it here.

Pats automotive has been the best mechanic I've ever found, they are honest and will tell you what really needs to be done now and what needs to be done in the future. I highly recommend them, my family has brought in saabs, Volvo, and Subaru and he has done a phenomenal job on all of them

Ian went above & beyond. I suspected my turbo went out on the way in from Bellingham. He quickly diagnosed my mishap, kept me updated on all details, & got me back on the road sooner than I expected. Even willing to work on a Saturday to get me back for my daughter s 4th bday the following day. Excellent service.

These guys are great! We were vacationing in Bend when we discovered that our Subaru had a bad oil leak. They looked at it first thing Monday morning and told us it was just a loose bolt. They tightened it, put in more oil and that solved the problem. We would have believed them if they had told us it was a blown head gasket! Very honest guys.
