Cyndi and everyone at Precision was awesome to work with. They were efficient and communicative. My car cleaner than when I dropped it off. Very much recommended for future services.

Very disappointed with Precision. We have been customers for a long time, having had damage done to our cars--none of which we were responsible for! Until now, they were our go-to repairshop. Our car was damaged by another driver in a parking lot. We just called for an estimate, and were told they do not work on any vehicle more than 20 years old. I went back to their website, and did not see any disclaimer referencing that. So, without even looking at our vehicle, we were dismissed, even though they had done all of the previous repairs on this car.We have kept all of our vehicles in excellent condition, even though they are older. I guess we will have to find another shop willing to work with people who maintain older cars!If you need repair for a newer car, they are great. If you need work on an older car, you will need to go elsewhere.

I was very grateful when precision took my car as a tow in after I had an accident running over a large curb. Many places had turned me down quoting me 3 months or more before they could take my car. Precision took it much quicker and gave me a realistic time frame of when it would be done. The staff specifically David did a wonderful job of communicating any updates going on with my Subaru. The people at this shop are honest and go above and beyond to take care of their clients. I would recommend this shop to all my friends and family.

They repaired my Polestar 2 after it was hit in Sept. they did a wonderful job and my car is beautiful and looks like it did the day I got it brand new. I would recommend them to anyone and especially if they are high-line drivers. Please for your viewing pleasure enjoy the before and after photos!Update 3/25/2024My car is still amazing. People always say after a bad wreck the car will never be the same. Precision doesn t think that should be the case because my car is still perfect today! I can t recommend them enough I mean if people trust their 200k plus Porsche there then what s there to think about?

David and team went the extra mile to coordinate insurance payments and make sure my car was repaired correctly and on time. Great communication, too. Highly recommend.

Awesome body shop and customer service. My Audi was in a minor collision accident and I didn t like the body shops the other party s insurance approved. I wanted an Audi certified shop for peace of mind knowing my car would be in good hands. Sarah helped me out when I dropped off my car and when I picked it up. Text message updates throughout the process. The shop s time estimate for completion of my car was spot on, even when completion got delayed due to parts having to be ordered. Really happy I chose Precision body and paint of Beaverton!

I always have a positive experience with Precision Body and Paint, Inc. The customer service can not be beat, as well as the work. They explain the whole process very clearly especially when dealing with difficult insurance issues ! Dameriea Coles helped me with an odd bank/insurance issue and took care of it quickly and remembered details of a conversation we had had weeks prior (I couldn t even remember the details and it was my check/reimbursement!) I highly recommend!!

I recently visited Precision Body & Paint of Beaverton for some repairs on my car, and I was thoroughly impressed. They were quick to give my car a detailed estimate, and they were efficient throughout the entire process. Not only did they provide a competitive quote, but their professionalism and attention to detail really stood out. I felt confident in their expertise, and they completed the repairs in a timely manner. Overall, a great experience, and would highly recommend them for any car repair needs.

Took my wife s Toyota Camry in for a trunk repair involving repainting. Precision gets an A plus. They are Toyota Certified body repair body shop. After shopping around at other body shops, it was clear to see the difference in knowledge and quality of the method to repair. Plus, we saved about $500 because of the method of repair.

UPDATE 9/14/2020 - It's scary some of the repairs I'm seeing come from some of the other "certified" shops lately since the Pandemic hit. Thankfully, I'm still receiving excellent repairs from Precision. FYI, there is a difference between techs that have been trained and certified on Tesla at the Factory and have been working on Tesla vehicles since 2012 like Precision's techs and the new Tesla techs at some shops that are being trained online and have just become a Tesla certified shop in the past year. My opinion, trust Precision to work on your Tesla instead of some of these other shops. It takes years of experience to work with Aluminum, and electrical components on a Tesla, which Precision has been doing since 2012.I'm an certified Oregon auto appraiser. I inspect Precision's work a lot for claims against insurance companies. I'm writing this review based on their work, not their customer service. I just hate to see victims of accidents end up with bad repairs just because someone did a better job telling them what they want to hear, instead of providing quality repairs.I see bad repairs nearly every day. Approximately 80% of the vehicles I inspect for post repair quality have some form of improper or fraudulent repairs. In the past nearly 8 years I've been in business, I've probably inspected no less than 2-300 vehicles repaired by Precision. Their repair quality is some of the best I've seen in the Northwest. They consistently provide high quality repairs. The only times I've ever had an issue is when an insurance company has refused to allow Precision to repair the vehicle the way I thought it should be repaired. Even then, they've always been very transparent and if there was an issue, they've always helped to resolve it quickly. As to their prices possibly being higher than other shops? They probably are not really higher, but the other shops may be being subsidized by an insurance company. When choosing an auto body repair shop, cheap is not the way you want to go, especially if you have significant damage. A good repair shouldn't just "LOOK" good, but should be good. Precision is certified by High Line Manufactures such as Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, Jeep, Tesla, Mopar, Volkswagen, SRT, Acura, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Honda, and many others. They have some of the best auto body techs in the area. If you expect to have the best techs working for you, you're gonna have to pay them what they're worth, hence the possible higher prices. Would you rather have someone not certified?Even if you own a Chevy Malibu, you should be worried about the quality of the repair to your vehicle, probably more so. Ask yourself, is a few dollars you save going to a "cheap" repair shop worth your or your family's life in a future collision? A bad repair can literally mean the difference between life and death. I've seen many improper repairs where the air bag sensors were painted over and couldn't operate, or structural damage wasn't even repaired, but just covered up at cheap, sketchy shops.I do not work for, nor do I have any affiliation with any insurance company and/or auto body shop including Precision. I'm only writing this review because I see a lot of customers judging this shop on the time it has taken for repairs, customer service, and sometimes unrealistic expectations of an auto body shop or staff, instead of what the do best, repairing cars. Many times extended repair times can simply be due to availability of parts, or even the sheer number of collisions at the time, such as in 2017 due to the ice and snow. If you're concerned with your vehicle being repaired right, not just fast and cheap? I would highly recommend this shop to you.UPDATE 2/12/2019 - Again, I can't stress how important it is to have good techs working on these cars. Precision does. Not far away is a 5 Star reviewed shop that I consistently have to send cars back to. Thanks Aaron for making by job easier by repairing cars right the first time.

Precision is incredible. I had a complicated repair process requiring a number of steps. The team at Precision led by David Andres took ownership of the process completing the repairs promptly, keeping us aware of each step throughout. We can't thank them enough for their efforts. Above and beyond the call!

I could have sworn I left a review for Precision but I guess I didn't so here goes take two. When it comes to body work, you can have it done right OR you can have it done quickly and it seems that most negative reviews here wanted perfection and wanted it in the blink of an eye. That's not how body repair works. Calling it repair isn't doing it justice as it really is more of a form of artistry and while you can rush an artist, do you really want to?A month ago my Mazda 3 got clipped by a bicyclist (nobody hurt) and there was no doubt in my mind about where I would take it to get fixed. My family and friends have used Precision since 2007 and none of us has ever left dissatisfied with the work that they do. The panel gaps on my Mazda as fit perfectly as the day I bought it and the three-stage pearlescent white paint? You can't even tell it was painted. Did it take a little longer? Sure. Do I care? Not one bit. Having it done right means far more to me than having it done quickly. So if you're looking for a body shop that will do the job quickly and tell you all the things you want to hear with a staggering radio and TV advertising budget, keep looking. But if you want your car to look as good as it did the day you bought it, your search for an excellent body shop in the Portland area should stop right here.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

my husband George recently took our Volvo in for rear left bumper repair. Despite a very busy day, David personally met us for inspection and decided to try hot metal manipulation. It worked and when I asked for the bill he said no charge because his repair was immediate and fair to the customer. Rare in this fast-paced auto repair world. Thank you Precision

Precision was able to get my vehicle in sooner then I expected. The staff is very friendly and I was updated throughout my vehicles repair. I was happy to learn that Precision follows manufacturer specifications so I knew my vehicle would be restored to the highest quality. Working with David Andres and Sarah Zimmerman was an amazing experience and I will always choose Precision because their expertise. They were able to make a stressful situation a pleasant experience.

Stay away. My partner and I stopped in for a quote on some simple window trim repair after a break-in. I was left feeling that this is not a reputable body shop. I am leaving two stars only because I was given a refund.Red flag #1 - Precision charges $75 for a quote. While they will roll the $75 into shop credit *if* you decide to work with them, this is an outright scummy practice. It's always a good idea to get multiple quotes on big jobs (like body work) and this is an obvious attempt to stop you from doing that.Red flag #2 - the provided quote. Randy was nice, but completely ignored our requests. Despite only wanting the window trim replaced, Randy started suggesting that we repaint the drivers door (comical given the state of the rest of the car) and insisted that we needed to clean the vents (lots of labor hours disassembling the dash). He even tried to create FUD around the vents - what if you turn the defroster on and glass flies everywhere?! We tried. It didn't. Trying to scare your customers into unnecessary work is bad business.Red flag #3 - the complete lack of communication after collecting our money and providing us with a quote full of unnecessary work. We requested a revised quote for the door trim only. After Randy replied acknowledging that he would provide a revised quote, he ghosted us. We tried emailing and calling and received no response. We eventually called and requested a refund which arrived in the mail a week later. The work onsite looked just fine, but there's absolutely no reason to patronize this business. There's no excuse for a shop to take your money (for something that should be free) and then refuse to call you back.. and that's before considering that these guys are just looking to milk your insurance for every dollar they can.

I do not recommend using this company.Let s begin with the good. They gave me an initial estimate quickly and I got back a car that was repaired and looks good. Now that he rest:They had my vehicle for over 2 months and rarely communicated updates unless I initiated a conversation. They did not communicate well with my insurance company. They shattered the glass in the rear hatch then mad insurance pay for it. When insurance disputed this, they held my car hostage until they received payment. This cost me an additional $500 in car rental cost.Their labor rates are higher than what insurance will pay. At the end of the job, when the car was finished, they held the car hostage until either insurance or I paid them. This was not a small amount ($1,990).There was no negotiation, the communication poor and was sometimes aggressive, and it was, in general, a bad experience.Go somewhere else.

Feel like a scam. Scheduled for an inspection that ended up got charged for $50 and was told it would be applied as payment if we decided to go with them. Later found out the insurance company did not approve them as legit vendor, the tech told us it would us cost more out of pocket if our insurance does not agree to their estimates! We ended up not getting the repair done by them and out $50!!! SCAM

In mid July my parked Atlas was hit on the back left panel. On 1st visual inspection didn't look so bad. However, 6 months later, I can certainly say it was bad enough. I finally got the car back last week. Hooray!!! However, before writing my review .. I wanted to reflect on the process. And, in hindsight, to say the process over the 6 months was an ordeal is almost an understatement. From the inept insurance adjuster(s), parts needed to fix the car being manufactured in Ukraine, (minimal) delayed communication, far from timely vehicle calibration (not Precision) and, finally, repeated invoice requests ... few things went my way. However, the one (positive) constant was the overall Precision team. The process was explained. When there was news to share ... it was shared. And, when dealing with the insurance folks once again became painful, it was Cody Yeack and David Andres that pushed the final (insurance) payment over the finish line. I am, and was, genuinely appreciative!Naturally, I'm hopeful to never have a reason to enlist Precision's services again. However, should the need arise, I wouldn't hesitate to do so. And ...neither should anyone reading this review. Finally, with the utmost appreciation for a job well done ... "Thank You" to the Precision team for the repair and getting me back in my AtlasServices: Full body wash, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Body & Trim, Auto detailing, Welding

I DON'T RECOMMEND using Precision Body And Paint...anymore. Up until approximately 2 years ago, Precision was timely, communicative and up front with their costs and the work being done on the car. Since then, a lot has changed. They now charge $50 estimates, which does go towards the repairs, so not a big deal, just something that's changed. However, my car that was supposed to be there for 2-3 weeks was in there for 9 weeks! I understand things happen and we live in a post-covid business era, but throughout all 9 weeks, I never received communication unless I personally initiated it. When 3 weeks was up, I called to ask when I could pick the car up. They gave me a run around answer that eventually turned into another 3 weeks. After those 3 weeks were up, I asked what was going on. They stated they found more damage and when comparing the pictures, sure enough, they had missed damage. No apology or admittance to missing it, not even a phone call. I also didn't receive any paperwork on the damage until after I called, asking why my car was still in the shop. For two small dents, they asked for $1800! They also took my car apart without my approval, making it difficult to not take it to another auto body shop for repair. Their labor/hr is now 75/hr, $10/hr higher than anyone else in the area (minus one other shop I had called...this was out of about 10 shops in the area). They do not use any aftermarket parts and basically tell insurance "you either pay our prices or the client will" instead of working with the insurance. They call insurance **once** and then let weeks go by without follow-up. The insurance company stated they are charging 2-3 times the amount of hours they should be charging for a job. I also ended up having to play "middle man" to negotiations with insurance because they told me the insurance wasn't willing to negotiate, which was untrue. One of their employees, Stephen, first told me he would be willing to work on the price with me, and at the next visit, told me he had "never said that." His manager did not apologize nor follow up with me about this. Instead, she kept repeating she hadn't talked with Stephen, yet. We were able to get a couple of things taken off but that seemed to be more from the effort of William, which he was very professional and respectful the entire time. Stephen didn't return ANY of my phone calls. Precision, with the exception of once over many weeks, did not return ANY of my phone calls. This was a very difficult experience, making a car accident that much more difficult to deal with. Jennifer, the receptionist, however, was helpful and gave out information and advice to us. We ended up having to go down in person any time we wanted something accomplished. Stephens manager, Jennifer (not the receptionist. They have two Jennifers) was argumentative and defensive, which was never our prior experience with Precision. Do not expect good customer service from this location in Beaverton, off Canyon Rd. They will take you for an agonizingly painful ride that will cost you thousands beyond what you expect to pay!

Run. Do not take your car here. These jokers started work on my Audi in mid-March 2023. I called in late March to see when my car it would done. They said soon. Several days passed and no call. I called and then they gave me an update of April 12. That date came and went and now it s April 29. They just completed work on my car. No one communicates. I had to continually call and hound them for updates. Everyone at Precision seems to be asleep behind the wheel. No one seemed to care. No apology given for continual delays.

I really wanted to like this place. It was highly recommended and one of the only places authorized to work on my car. I had a large-ish job done about a year ago. The work was expensive, but came in around the estimate. I paid cash, so I don't have any experiences with them and insurance. But I know they don't take Geico, because they tell me every time I've come in. The past work took double the estimated time, and the loaner car was something I cannot even describe. Let's leave it with I wouldn't want to use it to pick up my grandma from the airport, and there was dog food in the front door storage area. I need a smaller job done now and have gone in twice to get an estimate. Both times I have left without. The rules keep changing, and the office staff has no interest if you're a returning customer (or customer service in general).I thought this was my only option, luckily if you keep asking the dealer, eventually you learn that there are others. My advice: keep looking.Service: Body & Trim
