Chase arrived from MAK and charged my Prius battery. He was so knowledgeable and helpful. My car is running again and I am grateful to Chase. I highly recommend calling MAK. Maybe you'll be lucky and Chase will help you too. Thanks again.

These people are extremely dishonest! Absolutely DO NOT TRUST THEM. If AAA sends them for your battery request someone else. They will tell you you need another battery regardless and lie to you when you ask if they've checked your alternator. Absolutely dishonest. Run! I should have known when Humberto couldn't even figure out I was parked in a lot (which I had said in my request for service). Very poor service and dishonest to boot. I asked 3x if he checked my alternator. 3x he lied. Shameful.

Tech David Lowman showed up within 15 mins on a AAA roadside assistance request to change my flat tire on the side of the I-5 in Portland. David was professional and proficient, had me rolling again in no time, thanks man! P.S. my truck has 35" tires so no easy task!

There s no mistake that Tommy s name is on every 5 star review. After being up 24+ hours in the snow, he came and helped me get my motorcycle in his truck, and took me home, and was absolutely a freaking professional. It s in understatement really. The guy was cool as hell, and knew that getting me home with my bike was important. And he was like let s go, by any means necessary. Because it ain t like he had a tow truck. But the guy was so motivated and his attitude was such a blessing. Thank you

Had a great experience with Mak, and Tommy was a huge help! Called AAA for a battery replacement, and Tommy came and got the job done quick and efficient. He explained to me everything he was doing as he was working on it, and went above and beyond to save me time and money. Glad Tommy is the guy they sent my way, and had a nothing but positive experience.

Matt is an angel! He s so sweet and was extremely helpful. He helped me with my battery connectors, and went the extra mile to help fix my battery issue even when I was foolish and got the wrong connectors. I can t recommend him enough! GREAT SERVICE! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

If you the battery light illuminates on your dash DO NOT CALL these guys (or AAA). They "tested" my electrical system and claimed the battery was dead, but after putting in a new battery the light came right back on and the alternator was found to be the culprit. They don't really know what they're doing. But they are responsive so points for that.

Tommy Moorefield arrived at my car 15 minutes after I called for service. He was amazing! Super knowledgeable and kind. He had a new battery put in my Prius in minutes, explained why the 12 volt batteries deplete on Prius and I actually learned how to be a better driver to my Prius. Best interaction I ve ever had with anyone from roadside assistance! Thank you Tommy!

Rogelio was a huge help when the battery died on my mom s hybrid. Great communication before he got here, showed up really quick, was super helpful explaining to me what went wrong and how to avoid it in the future, and was generally just a really great guy who knew what he was doing. Highly recommended!

Tommy was technician that came out to jump my car for me, he was so knowledgeable and gave me excellent advice. I was told my battery had dead cell by auto parts store tommy informed me that was not the case at all and explained in detail what was going on! I really learned something from him today, and I m greatly appreciative of his advice. Wish there were more Tommy s out there! Thank you guys for all you do!Kathleen Carpenter

Mak Road Service came out as part of AAA membership to install a new battery for my car at my house. Great service. Samson (sp?) was knowledgeable and friendly.. not to mention quick. Told me the cost (which matched what I was quoted) up front. Highly recommend.

My tire blew off on a very busy highway near by the Oregon Zoo last year and I had to call AAA .They sent me a tech from MAK Service, Humberto, who did very fast , magnificent and professional work changing the blown tire with the spare one for about 10 minutes. Thanks to his awesome service, I was able to continue my trip safety and without any stress.Big thanks to all technicians for their dedicated work.

Matt from MAK was dispatched from AAA to save my evening. He arrived within 30 minutes and was very friendly and professional. He changed my flat tire, tested my little donut tire's air pressure and made sure it would hold. The entire time talking to me and making me feel at ease after a long day of work. He then went over the safety guidelines of not driving on the tire longer than 50 miles and trying to keep my speed below 45 while driving on it. He asked how far I would be driving home and I told him I lived in Vancouver, WA (he was changing my tire in Beaverton, OR). He recommended replacing the spare when I was done with it. I cannot say enough as to how amazing he was! This young man is the perfect example of customer service. Thank you for having such an amazing employee!!

dangerously incompetent - they installed a replacement battery on my Prius. the next day we found out it was not the correct battery, not even a battery for a hybrid!I would not trust them with any repairs or service

Our Enterprise rental car had a flat tire so we called customer service and they sent Kevin from MAK Road Service to help change the completely flattened tire. He got the job done and off we go in just 10 mins! Much appreciate his professionalism and quick service!

Rogelio responded to my AAA call. He was efficient, informative and had me on the road quickly. I knew it wasn't a standard battery issue, and Rogelio clearly explained the root cause and provided instructions to pass along to my mechanic.

As part of AAA battery service, an amazing experience. The truck came in 15 minutes, tested both my car battery and alternator, and found the alternator to be OK, whereas the 7-year old battery was not. In another 10 minutes, a new battery was professionally installed right on the spot, at a very competitive price and with warranty. Good to go for another 6 years!

Yesterday January 10, 2018 I had a driver (Phil) out to assist with a broken down car and he was very helpful and very professional and informative about what the issue was, he told me at the time that he would send me an email of what the diagnosis was with the battery issue, i input my email address into his phone and he said it was sent. Now, today 1/11/2018 I went looking for the email to be able to show it to Les Schwab to prove to them that the battery we purchased less than a year ago (still under warranty) has gone bad and the email was not there. I called AAA and they provided me with the info for MAK Service, i called them and spoke to Tony, he claimed to be the owner, he was not helpful at all and stated he could not call his driver to get the reading I was requesting from him. I work in the dispatch field and have to call my drivers on a regular basis even if it is their day off to get info for my customers. I know he did not want to help me and was being very short with me and would not give me any other answer other than I would need to wait over 3 days to get the info I was requesting. Mind you I am needing to replace said battery today as this is my only vehicle and I need to be able to get to work over the next 3 days. I am NOT happy with Tony and his customer service skills, I will be filing a complaint with AAA as well since they are the ones that sent this company out to help me in my time of need.

AAA sent Jordan with MAK Service for my dead battery. Jordan was kind and efficient. He tested my battery and discovered it was too old to save so he tried to replace it with a new one. Two new batteries he tried weren't up to his expectations so he came back the next morning with one that was. Price was competitive and he disposed of the dead one for me. The new one has a 6 year prorated warranty. Would use them again.
