Stephanie at Herzog- Meier is great to work with. I highly recommend! I requested info online about a 2017 Yukon Denali. Quick response ,gave me offer I liked so I made the 300 mile trip. The vehicle was as described and so was the price. They didn t try to sell me anything else or add onto the price which I really appreciated! Great experience!

While I did not ultimately buy my new Volvo from H-M because they did not have the color I wanted, I was impressed with their service. Stephanie did an excellent job talking to me about hybrid and electric vehicles. Avery was quite helpful as well and did his best to find my car but unfortunately that didn't work out. They were polite and professional as you would expect from a luxury car dealer.

He worked diligently to find exactly what I was looking for and has kindly kept in touch to ensure I was happy with my purchase. The whole team was great! I recently took my Volvo to Herzog-Meier Volvo to get serviced.. This is where I originally purchased the vehicle. After getting the vehicle back, there was a small issue. I called and spoke with the manager Brant about taking my Volvo back to have them take a look at the issue. When I went there and met the manager, he assured me that the small issue would be resolved right away. The service I received was beyond my expectations. I came to the dealership a little bit upset, but by the time I left, I could not say thank you enough. The manager was the most pleasant person to deal with. I have to admit, there couldn't be a better manager managing the dealerships! Also, Demetreus in service did an excellent job in handling my car from start to finished. Both guys in service assisted me in a polite way. I couldn't be happier with the attention that I received and I've never been to a dealership that is as honest, attentive, and goes above and beyond in providing service. I'm so glad that I purchased my Volvo here!! I wouldn't purchase from any other dealership. This place has my vote!!!

I just picked up my 2024 s60 recharge yesterday and I am happy as can be about the experience. Stephanie communicated with me for months until I was ready to go for a test drive and order my s60 just the way I wanted it. She was always there to answer questions and made buying a car fun. When you buy a Volvo you get very safe, energy efficient, high performance luxury vehicle. Oh, and Stephanie saved me $7500 through a promotion that she offered me. Besides that the car is beautiful! If you want a 'practical' safe luxury vehicle go see Stephanie and have some fun and enjoy the experience.

What an experience. I am a buyer from Washington that traveled down with 2 kids under 3. Was in and out within an hour (only because we had to eat that took about 30 min). Stephanie was spectacular to work with, kind, attentive, willing to assist and work with me. Dealt with a guy at a competing dealership and he was absolute garbage. Glad I made the call and found the perfect xc90 for my wife! Thank you for such a great experience!!

My wife and I purchased a used Volvo last weekend from Herzog-Meier, and the experience was absolutely top notch thanks to Stephanie. We walked into the dealership and she let us know that the vehicle we were interested in wasn't quite available yet, so she kept us informed once it was ready to view.BEFORE our test drive, she spent time with us making sure we were 100% comfortable with all of the tech options (we haven't owned a Volvo so this was highly appreciated).After our test drive, we gave the keys to her and let her know that we would discuss the vehicle. Stephanie was gracious and didn't try to pressure us to make a deal (once again...highly appreciated). We decided to contact her the next day and figured out all of the details easily with a phone call and a few texts. It was that easy! I'm glad to be writing this review and would highly recommend both Stephanie and Herzog-Meier.

Working with Stephanie Tichenor and her team to purchase our family car was the single best sales experience I've ever had. Having tried to work with other car brands and other dealers in the Oregon area, we were being met with 'buy our inventory' and not 'how can we meet your needs'? In the end, we walked away with a beautiful car that was tailored to what we needed and had Stephanie communicating clearly and regularly along the way as we awaited its arrival. My wife and I worked with Stephanie Tichenor to purchase a new Volvo XC60 Plug-In Hybrid. Stephanie made the entire process comfortable and easy - she was awesome! We had very specific wants regarding the car, including exterior and interior colors, features, and options. Needless to say, finding the car with all of our requirements was a daunting task. Stephanie took the time to research and prepare a number of options. She was very resourceful and found the exact car we wanted at an out of state dealership and was able to work a transfer of the car to Herzog-Meier for our purchase. Stephanie kept us updated throughout the process with patience and perseverance. She was the absolute best!When we came to pick up the car Stephanie and Saige took the time to provide us with a thorough tutorial of the multitude of features/electronics. They both have incredible knowledge about every facet of the car and communicated this information in a clear and simple manner which my wife and I greatly appreciated. We highly recommend both Stephanie and Saige - they made the entire car buying experience very enjoyable!

The experience here was generally great. We sent in a request on the website, asking details of a specific vehicle, and I received a response first thing the following morning from Stephanie. With it being the beginning of the day and the vehicle not being ready, she asked for permission to send texts once she could get photos of it and with that we switched to mostly texting for the entire process. We had a chance to go over pricing, finance options, and a few other items as well. Overall, working with Stephanie was the highlight of the sale and all of the process with her went smoothly.The TL;DR of the below, we're happy overall with everything, service is great, staff is great, salespeople are great, and we're planning to come back in a couple of years for a used V60R or Polestar, or maybe a new electric Volvo sedan if they get one out.The generally great aspect I mentioned at first doesn't have anything to do with Stephanie, and it isn't a negative by any means. When we first performed a test drive in the car, I felt what seemed like a warped rotor (Electric car, so during inspection I'd imagine regen took care of most of the braking and it could easily be missed). My wife couldn't recreate it, but I could almost on demand. When I brought this up, they offered a discount on the car so they could make the sale, but I wanted it fixed because who wants to drive away with an issue fresh out of a dealership? The discount offered was good enough to cover getting it repaired, but we decided at that point to push the issue instead of taking the discount. The nearest dealer for this specific vehicle (not a Volvo or VW) didn't have anything available that day, and the cost was high enough for an inspection that if it turned out to be more than one rotor, the cost would have outweighed the discount. Well, Stephanie pushed the issue a bit and got them to agree to a second inspection of the car with a focus on the issue and with steps to recreate it.The next day we received a text that they did indeed find 2 warped rotors. Like I said above, not faulting their inspection process since it was a non Volvo EV and I doubt they'd of even activated the rear brakes like that. At this point, we've purchased the car, financed and down payment, it's ours, but Stephanie pushed some more for us and they're replacing both rear rotors, no questions asked, making everything right with the car, and they even kept the original discount applied to the car, which was a nice gesture all considered.Now, would we have been happy with finding the warped rotors and them not being repaired? Probably not, but we'd of known what to replace and it'd have eaten the discount entirely, so it wouldn't have been a loss. Are we happier with the current result? Absolutely. Stephanie made for a fairly quick and painless process, and had there been no issue with the rotors, we'd have been out in well under 2 hours. It took a bit long with back and forth between her and her managers, service, etc, but still a great result overall.Thanks again Stephanie, we're looking forward to coming back in the future for our 3rd Volvo

We purchased a new 2023 Volvo XC90 on 3/15/24 from Doug Galloway. The entire experience was totally unexpected! I have NEVER thought of buying a car as a joy. Having said that when I shook Doug's hand and prepared to drive away in my brand new car I found myself saying, "Doug, thank you sooo much. It was an absolute joy" and it was!!!If you are interested in a Volvo I highly recommend Doug Galloway at Herzog Meier and the Volvo XC90!! We have a long history with Volvo cars and this is by far the most comfortable and sound Volvo we have owned. The seats are like slipping onto a cloud!! The safety features are unsurpassed!! I am writing to express my most sincere appreciation to Demetreus at Herzog-Meier Volvo Service. We recently brought our XC40 in for service and he was prompt, respectful and very helpful. In addition, a few weeks later I found myself stranded 10 miles from the dealership in the rain on a Friday afternoon at 4pm. My automatic trunk decided not to close at the grocery store. Demetreus personally drove over to help me. Although we couldn t fix it on the spot he did connect it with a bungee cord so I could get home. He went above and beyond my expectations and I m so glad we bought and service our car at Herzog.

This dealership has singlehandedly stopped me from recommending Volvos to people in Portland. The cars are great, but God help you if you need service of any kind.- Appointments for "normal" service are booked 3-5 months out, and are often longer if you want a loaner. This includes if you have a check engine light.- Their service "inspections" are a joke. I took my 2019 XC60 in for a check engine light and 40k mile service which includes an inspection. The day after picking it up, the whole hybrid system fails. So much for the inspection.- Now that I've waited 3 months for a service that caused more issues than it fixed, I now have to wait another month with an undriveable car because of how badly they are booked out.- After dropping the car off for the repairs under warranty, I'm told the repairs will take more than a month because they have to ship some parts from Sweden. And guess what, no loaner, but they'll try to find something.- 2 week later, still no loaner, despite being told over a week ago that I'm "highest on my priority to get you in one."- On top of all that, they have the gall to charge 3% to take credit cards. The square reader I can buy at Staples only charges 2.6%. This is on top of $1000+ services.Overall, terrible customer experience, terrible communication with me having to constantly follow up with the service department for updates, and extremely expensive.

We bought our third XC60 and the experience couldn't have been easier. I got a call from Stephanie Tichenor about six months before our lease was due. This allowed us to custom order the exact model and options we wanted and have it arrive just in time. She pointed us to year end savings options through Costco and even arranged signing before year end and the car delivery so we wouldn't lose them. then she even delivered our car directly to our house - and we live a ways out of town. Huge thank you to Keith for helping me buy my XC40. I popped into the dealership without an appointment with questions about if a Volvo was even right for me and my budget. Keith was kind, informative and helpful as I learned about Volvos and as I ultimately navigated the car buying process. He was quick to answer questions over email after my initial visit and did all that he could to make the process as efficient as possible on the day I arrived to make my purchase. Additionally, everyone else at Herzog-Meier Volvo was professional and respectful of my time. I appreciated Sage taking the time to walk me through all my car s features so that I can use it to its full capabilities. I walked away feeling like I am in a super reliable and lovely vehicle that will serve me for years to come.

The service is so bad I would never buy a car from here if it had to be serviced there. Demetrius is the service manager I dealt with.I have an XC90 that was using oil. Volvo knew it was an issue and is fixing all engines that have those issues even if warranty is expired. (Good on them). We booked the service 4/2023 for 7/23. We brought the suv in and they told me they couldn t do it, they were too busy and wouldn t schedule a time they could. In August the engine light came on so they saw me for $250 eval and said the supercharger seal was leaking and needed $3000 repair. I asked if they could do it when they tore down the engine to fix the oil consumption they said yes but recd. I leave the car and they would fix it within 6 weeks. They didn t have a current loaner but said they may have one next week. Long story but loaner came in October instead of our car. Only allowed one driver with limited miles which meant we had to cancel our roadtrip to Az. Promised it would be fixed by end of November. We got our car back in Feb 24, they had it for 6 months. The loaner had a cracked windshield that they insisted we pay $1300. I paid $589 in 2022 for a windshield replacement and calibration on our xc90 from Safelite. Very disappointed in failure to reply to dozens of phone calls, very high prices and so many missed deadlines of dates they set.

01/20/2023: 4.98 out of 5SERVICE - 5.0 out of 5.I bring our XC90 T8 R-Design in for maintenance service, software updates and among other necessities. Herzog-Meier Volvo's service team always treated us right and with full transparency. Usually without problems, but when there was one, they were quick to get us back in and correct the issues.PRICE - 4.5 out of 5.This is an unfortunate one, but it comes with the territory of a luxury brand. It's pricey, but for the most part, you get what you pay for. Although pricey, Volvo does offer lifetime warranty on all of its parts.QUALITY - 5.0 out of 5.The Herzog-Meier team and service really do seem to speak for itself. Somehow there seems to be a good balance between its service and customer care.ESTABLISHMENT - 5.0 out of 5.Let's be honest, it's an auto dealership. However, Herzog-Meier Volvo seems to be always clean, bright, and comfortable enough. The bathroom is clean, there's free WiFi, snacks, water and coffee available while waiting.Overall, we are taken care of and feel appreciated as a Volvo owner each time we come here. And, we come to Herzog-Meier Volvo from Milwaukie, Oregon because of that.02/10/2022: 4.5 out of 5 - Needed to bring my 2018 XC90 R-Design T8 for service.It's been about a year since I had to be here for service. Looks to be some changes in the showroom due to some of the supply chain issues that have been purposely created by other entities. Regardless, the waiting area is open again for those who want to wait, or Herzog-Meier can provide an Uber to a nearby location, such as Starbucks.There are new faces in the Service Department since my last service (I wondered what happened for a quick moment). Nonetheless, the individuals are courteous and professional, as one would expect.Overall, the establishment is running smoothly considering what's happening. The place is clean, the waiting area has snacks and the bathrooms are clean.Not everyone has a Volvo, but Herzog-Meier is known for the high standard of service, and I'm sure it translates to its other variety of auto dealerships.03/07/19: 5.0 out of 5 - Very impressed with Herzog-Meier's level of professionalism and enthusiasm to help customers, which is what brought us to do the Volvo purchase through Herzog-Meier Volvo, as well as service, and the number of selections on site.If you're considering a Volvo, then try this dealership. These folks are all-around great! They've earned my business.
