My truck s exhaust pipe needed a little customization after installing a suspension lift. Bob did a wonderful job relocating the tailpipe. Sounds and looks beautiful! The work was quick, efficient and a fair price. Thank you.

As I was standing around getting my muffler replaced, I saw these guys lift up a guy's vehicle, and tell the guy, "you don't have a catalytic converter". To which the guy replied that the vehicle didn't have one when he bought it. The worker told the guy if he didn't want to pay to have a new catalytic converter installed, that they would not work on the guys vehicle whatsoever. I felt so dirty doing business with them but they already had my vehicle up and working on it. Had I would've witnessed this before they started working on my vehicle, I'd have took my business elsewhere. That was pure extortion. Who is really the criminal? The guy with the Cat-delete? Or the guy who conveniently assumed the role of law enforcement to make a few bucks. I guess, "there's no getting around the law". That's what he told the guy.

Buckle up because this is a wild storyAbout a year ago, my cat converter was stolen and my windshield was broken on my 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander. Geico had me take it to Gerber Collision on Science Parkway, and they outsourced to this company. Everything was fixed and replaced, it was looking good. After about 2 weeks, my check engine light came on, and I ran a code reader: my oxygen sensor was going off. I brought it back to Bob, he ran the code reader and said the same thing. Maybe it was a bad sensor, but he replaced it. 3-4 weeks later, same thing. I brought it back in, and Bob and another associate told me that i ve cost them over $100 because of these converters and they don t know what s going on. I guess they called a Mits dealership and found out they put the wrong brand. Bob told me it was on back and it would be MONTHS. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. I decided to take powers into my own hands and I got in touch with Geico and they told me I was it was my problem because i chose them. (I didn t? they told me where to take it so I did). I got ahold of someone at Geico and they gave me a new adjuster, and I finally got my car fixed at a dealership. BUT PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU HAVE A NEWER/NOT AS COMMON CAR BRAND!!Service: Exhaust

I was amazed on how fast and quality of work was done on my van. I highly recommend this place for all exhaust and muffler needs. Efficent affordable and durable. For our midget we needed a very small muffler that would fit under the back of the midget and still look good and sound good. Bob did a great job finding the right muffler and making it look and sound great. Bob is a real artist!!!

I had a big crack in my exhaust, so I was checking to see if he could weld it. Bob (or Rob) was great. He let me know the joint was about to fail next to the crack. He could have easily told me that he had to replace both sections, but instead said he could just weld in a new section of pipe. Really appreciate that kind of honesty! Sooo much less expensive. And I got in within a couple of days. Great work, fast and reasonable!

Excellent. This is my second visit that went better than expected. Same day service at a very good price. Importantly, they didn't try to sell me anything that didn't actually need fixing (it is so easy to say a muffler is about to fail when its got a lot of life left) so I was able to get my truck fixed quickly, honestly, and at minimal expense. Nice folks that I will bring my future exhaust work to every time.

2 days ago I brought my 2000 Chevy Tahoe Z71 into this exhaust shop with a flowmaster muffler I provided myself. They preformed quality work in a timely manner at a very decent price. My truck was in and out of their shop in an hour. They installed my muffler with a larger diameter tailpipe to ensure professional quality work. My exhaust has absolutely no leaks and sounds great! I couldn't have asked for a better experience with these guys. I would definitely bring another vehicle here.Service: Exhaust

I needed a simple weld, the charge was $100. Bart calls later and tries to up the price to over $1000 falsely claiming that my Cat was completely blocked and REFUSING to do the simple weld that we had agreed to. He charged me $40 (CASH) to put it back how I had left it with him. Another shop shone a flashlight through the Cat debunking the totally blocked claim (~10% blocked and still useable) and did the weld for well less than $100. I would give Bart zero stars if that was an option.Service: Exhaust

I had my truck stolen on 10/3 and ended up recovering it that day. The catalytic converter, battery and a few other things were taken from it. I had my truck dropped off here after hours, I slapped a battery in it and called the shop as soon as they opened and explained the situation. They were able to help me get my truck back on the road within 4 hours of them opening and at a very reasonable price. I m really happy that I brought my truck here. I personally hate corporate chains, so it was important to me to seek out a local place and I encourage you to do the same.Thanks again guys!

This is a business which takes customer service seriously. Had to have tailpipe replaced during the holidays. There was a mix up on the appointment for repairs but Don got us in on Mon 12/30/2019 and did an excellent job replacing our tailpipe. He was polite, professional and responsive to our need to have repairs done that day and no later since we were just visiting relatives in Beaverton and don t live there.If you have any exhaust or brake repairs which need to be done, I suggest you give these guys a call. There s a reason I gave 5 stars. These guys are excellent!

Excellent service. Brought in a classic Toyota Land Cruiser to have some work done. I spoke with Bob on the phone and explained what I would like to have done. Bob was a complete professional, ordered parts and had me on my way in no time. Work was what you would expect from a professional who has honed his craft over many years of experience. Perfection.

Fantastic shop that I recommend with the highest possible rating! My mechanic told me to contact Bob and his crew to get my old truck's catalytic converters changed. Reasonably priced, and got me in and out within a few hours. Excellent workmanship with no BS. After a week of driving - zero issues passing DEQ. If you have issues, definitely go here and get taken care of!!

If you have an exhaust-specific issue, these guys do the right job the right way. I've been in a few times over 15 years and they always treat me with courtesy, are prompt and have been able to accommodate my schedule with ease.Choosing them gives me peace of mind that the job will be done right.

I stopped by here once to get some work done on a 2006 Jeep Commander. I wasn't sold on their prices or by the explanation given by the employee. I wound up doing the work myself.However, I had a 1974 Firebird that needed work and I couldn't do it myself. I have personally seen the work done by other muffler shops nearby and wasn't going to go them. So, I called these guys up again. The prices were high and the conversation wasn't very long or convincing, but I gave them a chance. They put dual exhaust on with 2 mufflers, crossover pipe, and polished tips on my Pontiac. The welds are amazing. The routing of the pipes is spot on and they used mandrel bends. They rewarded my trust with the best exhaust system I've ever had. The only place close around here is Todd's in McMinnville. After seeing the quality of the welds and pipe routing, the price was a bargain.

If I could give these guys negative stars I would. Brought my car in due to a stolen catalytic converter in late December. They kept claiming they couldn't get parts to fix it. Told them to let me know when they could. I tried to be patient and trust them. My car sat on their lot for 5 MONTHS! Same old story...each time I called...they couldn't get the parts from the manufacturer. Finally came in and picked up my still unrepaired car, took it to the dealer, and they said the part would be here in a month. Yes, hard to get, but not as hard as these guys claim. Oh, yeah, because they dragged their feet so much in actually trying to get the part my battery ran down and needs to be replaced. STAY AWAY!!!!!!Service: Exhaust

I was referred to Bob at Exhaust Specialties by another local mechanic. He stated Bob was good, honest, quick and affordable. I couldn't agree more! I took my son's 240SX there - Bob being my 3rd mechanic in this venture thus far - and he was quick, no frills, and very pleasant to deal with.I was told by another shop it would cost over $900 to do what Bob did for under $300!He and the other mechanic were very considerate, kind and helpful.Not being from this state, I don't have the benefit of knowing locals who would know a good mechanic. My experience with Exhaust Specialties was top-notch - I wasn't looking for a fancy shop with over-the-top creature comforts - I was looking for a seasoned mechanic that knows his trade.Highly recommended!

This company has been an excellent place to work for the last 20 years. Bob is a superb manager treats customers Fair and with integrity, he does excellent custom work gives the customer what they are looking for sound-wise and appearance. So if you want quality work this is the guy to go see, I hated to leave but that's what happens when you get a divorce sometimes you have to go. If you go in say hi to Bob for me

I got quoted $1800 at my tire shop to fix my Heat Shield connected to my exhaust. I asked my regular car guy about it and he said he could do it for $200, maybe less but he was so busy, every time I'd call I couldn't get into his shop. The loud rattling noise was driving me nuts! I called around to several places and nearly everywhere wanted to charge $100+ just to get a quote/diagnose it. I got a tip to go to an exhaust specialist and after I arrived, the two gentlemen pulled my car in, lifted it, identified the issue and started working on it immediately. My buddy who came to pick me up said they were probably just checking it out but I was a little confused because sparks were flying. After about 15-20 minutes, they pulled my car out and told me it was done and they'd charge me half of what my regular guy did, $100. I couldn't believe it. They tossed me my keys and after a few seconds said "Merry Christmas Kid, you don't owe us anything". NEVER have I ever been treated like this by anyone who has worked on my car. I can't thank you two enough and really appreciate it. I hope to pay you back someday soon!THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!I hope you both had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!Cheers,Brian

I've been trying for months to get my O2 sensor off, and I've had multiple mechanic turn me away after trying for a few minutes with no success. Eventually it was stripped, so I took it here and they cut it off and welded a new one back on for a very reasonable price. Very satisfied with them.

These guys are honest and fair.Went to these guys to have my exhaust system checked after having some acceleration issues thinking I may have had a partially clogged catalytic converter. They took a look at my car for a bit and ran some diagnostics before saying there was nothing wrong with the exhaust system and they couldn't justify taking my money to fix nothing.
