This place is a joke, they lie and do really poor work and charge full price. I called in advance to see if they could work on my vehicle and do what I required, and they assured me that it would be no problem they had done this before and would be 6-7 hours. They kept making excuses for why they hadn't completed the job and ignored what the manufacturer was telling them to assist with the install. They had my vehicle for over a month and couldn't figure out how to do the job, and messed up other things in the process. They charged full price and I had to take it to another shop to get it fixed from what they had done, that shop charged me less than what these incompetent hacks did. I would never tell anyone to go here!

I took my car in for a diagnostic due to a clunking noise and my check engine light was on. I dropped it off in the afternoon prior to closing. I called the next day towards the end of business day to inquire about the status of my vehicle. The person that I spoke with quickly mumbled something over the phone and hung up on me. I called back and left a voicemail asking for a call back to find out what repairs my car needed. I got a call back a few minutes later saying everything was okay and to pick it up. When I got there the mechanic said there was nothing wrong with my engine. He indicated that due to the cold weather there was a very small leak but I had nothing to worry about, and there was no noise in my car. I was charged a diagnostic fee and sent on my way. As soon as I drove away, my car started making the noise.I took my car to another shop a couple of days later and it turned out my engine mount was about to fail and my engine was grinding against the water pump.I wish I had as good as an experience as the other people that reviewed this business, but this particular experience concerns. There was something considerably wrong with my vehicle and he either missed it or didn't look at my car at all.

I have used him twice in the last 6 months, and I'm beyond satisfied. Very honest with zero upsell. My last visit was with my 14 y/o car with 177,000 miles. I thought it was headed to the scrap yard, but he brought it back from the dead. This is my go to place from now on. Hard to find a good mechanic who puts their customer first. Very appreciative of the lack of an upsell. He suggested another repair that I might consider in the future, but said everything was good for now.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Very nice independent merchant owner-operated buisness. He did an oil change for me, changed a coolant temperature sensor, and put sealant to try to stop a leaking head gasket in an old beloved car I'm not ready to say to good bye to. Did the work quickly. Mechanic wrote a very clear invoice for me. I will come here again.Services: Engine repair, Oil changeServices: Engine repair, Oil change

Andrew is the man to see at Canyon Auto Clinic. He does very good work and so far, has charged consistently reasonable prices. I have an older car that just entered the "nickel and dime you to death " phase last year, and he has helped me keep it running without breaking the bank. No easy task. The only small negative (out of MANY positives), is that the mechanic is not very verbal. English is definitely not his first language, and you have to listen closely otherwise you may not understand him. He can come off as kind of abrupt, but I think it`s the language barrier and not rudeness. I`ve never had a problem with any of his work. Once I got a faulty, brand new alternator (it happens) and he replaced it no questions asked. I have gone other places that charged 30-50 percent more for the same work and his is guaranteed.I recommend this place highly.

I took my 97 cadillac deville in due to overheating issues. He immediately found the issue and only charged $250 for the water pump and diagnostic test. Great guy will be back for sure!!

Do not go to this place. My parents went here because he kept saying our brake pads were completely gone. I asked him what the mm was and he said there is none, it is completely gone both front and back. I initially thought this was weird because its hard to get both completely worn out at the same time. But he didn't understand me and kept saying I dont care you want it or not. Put us in an awkward situation saying its dangerous etc etc. So I asked for the old brake pads after and my parents brought it back. There was about 40% (5-6mm) left on the front pads and the back was more than enough. Enough said. Terrible place. Terrible customer service. DO NOT GO.
